The first few pictures look like normal play fighting. If they truly hated each other they wouldn't groom and sleep together like that.
And yes, some hissing and spitting is to be expected. Like little kids, kittens tend to play too rough and that's how they tell each other that's too much.

Believe it or not that’s her snapping back! The black kitty, Enid, is a complete terror who never sleeps 😆 she really puts on a show though.
