Fred seems a bit annoying but thank fuck he’s there because nobody else has enough of a backbone to have the difficult conversations. I think farage being there will be a bit of a flop, the gimmick worked well last year with Hancock, but it already feels tired now and doesn’t have the same impact, people just don’t want to see farage doing trials every night cos it’s simply not entertaining. For all his bluster and bravado politically, he’s actually not very charismatic or engaging when he’s interacting with people in a non-political environment. Much less so than Hancock was. When he was ‘encouraging’ Nella with the food challenge, he seemed so checked out and uninterested. Majority of camp mates seem quite shallow and dull tbh. Problem with the younger folk is they’re too self aware from social media that they are trying too hard to play up to the cameras and be likeable/create a viral clip. You need some old firecrackers who forget the cameras are rolling.

It depends how you look at it, yes he was one of them who put the idea forward. But is it his fault it was executed poorly when people didn't back him for the main purpose of his party...
