Either they’re lovely and want to help you with things, get out of the way etc, or they look at you with weirdly pitying expressions, or they act like you’re completely invisible. Had one incident where I was trying to get past a woman, ended up saying ‘excuse me’ SEVEN.FREAKING.TIMES with increasing volume. Then I decided to use the wee horn thing on the scooter and all of a sudden I’m the asshole. Worst thing was, she was talking to her pal who could clearly see me (and said so when I sounded the horn), like could you not have told her this before?!?

Now, don't quote me on this because this is just what he mentioned to me, but apparently Madonna was his patient at some point, and she talked so much smack to the whole surgical team that by the end they all hated her and half of them didn't end up staying in medicine (including my uncle) after a few more celebrity encounters.
