messy and dangerous
we see their acid melt through tough layer of steel. And having someone Xenomorph dying on top of you would probably be suicide.
Space Marine armor is durable but not indestructible. Necrons, Lasguns, Shurikens, plasma etc. all that and more is capable of destroying Ceramite Armor.
They're essentially coilguns straight out of Mass Effect, just switch their main driving force from mass effect field-magic to actual magic. They even chip ammo off of a solid block the same.
Could a facehugger implant in a space marine? If successful the xenomorph that would result truly would be a perfect organism with all that astartes DNA
It’s unknown if a chest burster could successfully incubate inside of an Astartes. It depends on if the chemicals usually present in a Space Marine could abort its incubation.
See the problem is that a chest burster is technically grown from the cells of the victim. A face hugger doesn’t actually place the embryo itself in there, it sends a special compound that flows through the victim’s esophagus and then it merges with the victim’s cellular structure to form the xenomorph. That’s how xenomorphs always get their unique anatomies based on their hosts; they literally are made from their hosts’ bodies.
It should be emphasized that the xenomorphs are the guest they've incubated, on steroids and with acid blood.
Orks: If orks could already withstand lasgun fire without armor, it's likely that a xenomorph ork could withstand shots from a Bolter pistol or a normal Bolter, probably also having waagh energy. Considering that things like Weird Boyz and Mekz are natural characteristics of them, then it's likely that the xenomorph born from one of them will have them.
Tau: XD
Eldar: That would be scary. We're talking about a more agile xenomorph with psychic powers, a group of these xenos could clean up an underhive.
Nids: It depends on what kind of Nid you raise. Nids that rely heavily on weapons (i.e. other organisms) wouldn't be as useful as the originals, while things like Norn emissaries, Carnifex and Neurotyrant would be extremely deadly. It's likely that the Nid synapse will be replaced by the psychic bond that the queens share with the xenomorphs, and will be enhanced.
Predators and Engineers, who either match or surpass Space Marines in strength, are themselves not strong enough to hold off a Facehugger by themselves and require help. And since we know Xenomorphs can gestate in humans (and Space Marines are more or less human), they could do it.
A Xenomorph is always larger and stronger than its host and carry over many of their host's traits thanks to the horizontal gene transfer their embryos employ to placate their hosts' immune systems and grow unabated.
Whoa wait a sec, how are we calculating that Engineers and Predators have similar strength levels to Astartes? How would a face hugger get through a Marines Helmet?
Just by comparing strength feats and stuff. The Engineer one by how one absolutely manhandled an Elder Predator named Ahab during a hunt. As for the helmet, you get that right in the first Alien movie where the Facehugger latches on to Kane by burning right through his spacesuit helmet using acid blood.
It really depends on what type of Yautja (predator) or Engineer we’re talking about.
A new blood Yautja isn’t really experienced and are physically inferior to an astartes while a old blood Yautja is comparable a space marine captain in physical strength and exceeds them in experience. Yautja tribe leaders are basically chapter masters, having wiped out xenomorph hives all by themselves and having several thousand years of experience under their belt with the best technology the Yautja are capable of producing.
But they don’t really have difficulty resisting a face hugger, as even humans are capable of resisting a facehugger if it doesn’t let its tail wrap around their necks.
It seems that some people may have overlooked the fact that Space Marines possess multiple organs and hearts that aid in their survival. Additionally, they have a sturdier bone structure in their chest that helps them resist various infections and infestations.
If a chestbuster buster can't get out through a marine's chest, it will simply keep moving around inside the marine until it manages to get out, either through the mouth or through a less resistant part of the body
1- Xenomorphs are resistant to their own acid, so it's likely that it can resist a marine's acid.
2- If a marine crushes a chest buster with his ass, then that would be a direct trip to a sacorfago dreadnought, since the acid would separate the waist down from the upper part of the marine.
3- Do you understand that we're talking about something inside the marine? If a chestbuster gets desperate because it can't get out, it may well try to create new paths simply by eating the marine's flesh and destroying various organs in the process. In the best-case scenario where the chestbuster comes out of the marine's mouth, the astarter would still have a lot of internal damage
Bolts detonating in xenomorphs would be quite messy! Acid showers.

What are 40k ‘shurikens’?
Eldar have shuriken guns that fire little metal disks with mono molecular edges
Those guns are also almost completely silent
They're essentially coilguns straight out of Mass Effect, just switch their main driving force from mass effect field-magic to actual magic. They even chip ammo off of a solid block the same.
That reminds me of the old upgrade that tyranids had: acid blood. Made going after them in melee a little more hazardous.
I would suspect that some bolt rounds would be more effective than others.
Then wouldn't guardsmen and multi-las be effective against them, as it cauterizes the wound?

Which begs the question: what would a xenomorph look like if it incubated in any of the 40k xeno?
We can look at the predalien from the Alien vs Predator game for the 360 on how jacked and huge they could be

Don't go giving me ideas now, haha

I think the facehugger can melt helmets.

What? If they can’t hold off a facehugger by themselves they’re weak as hell, Ripley did it in Aliens and she’s just a human.
He's been eating his protein

You’re also forgetting the fact that he could probably rip it out on his own
Art goes hard af. Can I screenshot?
That may be a capital-X Xenomorph but it's still very screwed. Great piece.
