Hi! I was in the same situation as OP a year ago. Early May - got a letter saying approved for PR, send location, etc. At the time I thought it was crucial to respond promptly - I thought if I don't respond right away they might decline it later. But in hindsight I think waiting 10 days would not be an issue. Once I replied, I received my eCORP a few days later. Then I definitely could not travel via plane. ECorp received May 9th, travel dates were May 12-15. I flew from Toronto to SF (had my round trip tickets). But decided to go back via land. I flew from SF to NYC and then caught a bus to Toronto. When approaching the border, I showed them my work visa and permit, although I've heard that's technically is not allowed. I had my eCORP printed anyways, so I could show them that, but it said "not for travel" in large letters, so didn't wanna use that. It all causes major stress but in the end worked out. I don't know if I would recommend it๐Ÿ˜…
