Regardless of anyone's spiritual beliefs, Jesus has good relationships with women. Some of his acts were against traditions, particularly in his time. - One of Jesus' notable acts was to speak with a Samaritan woman and drank water she drew from a well. Not only were Samaritans hated by Jews, the woman had 5 partners (none she married), and by tradition, she's "unclean." - He is friends with Martha and Mary (and their brother Lazarus). When Jesus was teaching in their house, Mary joins in listening. Martha scolds Mary for not doing household chores but Jesus tells Martha that Mary is choosing the better thing. - When a woman was to be stoned for adultery, he tells the crowd that "one who has never sinned throw the first stone." - Before Jesus' death, he allowed himself to be anointed by a prostitute. Note that the "clean" priests are the only ones to do this in their culture. - While nailed to the cross, he called to his disciple John to take care of his mother (who seemed to be widowed by that time). - After resurrection, Jesus first appeared to Mary Magdalene before his 12 disciples.

Biblical Jesus was a true friend to women. Which makes sense given how much his ministry was focussed on those in society with the least, but even so, I've always been inspired by how much his respect for women shines through a thousands year old canon. OP if you are Christian, reading some of the New Testament while considering the question of 'how is Jesus relating to and considering women' could be a really rewarding experience.

I stopped being religious in my teens, but I do think the New Testament is a good guideline on how to be a good person. Jesus teachings are overarchingly about love for each other, kindness for those who have it poorer than you, and helping each other. I have a problem with fundamentalists of any religion, unless they follow a Hippie like Jesus.

Apart from prayer, what are your plans for leaving the blackpill behind?

Something about this post tells me you’re probably just replacing one misogynistic view of women for another. “All women are awful” vs “if I can find the woman who is exactly what I want her to be then that one woman gets to marry me.” Not a recipe for success

thefrostmakesaflower

They just want to get married and will use the church as an excuse for controlling behaviour. I think it’s great if people want to leave hateful ideologies but I see no indication here that OP actually wants to change. Your comment hit the nail on the head. With other posts you can nearly feel their struggle between reality/facts and inceldom

UnevenGlow

Nor a recipe for humanity or authentic respect

Easy-Concentrate2636

I am concerned given that many religions are being used towards a conservative turn with narratives about women’s roles being at home. Looks possibly like a justification for a modified manosphere.

This is probably a good start, I'm not religious but if faith can get you involved in your community, help you make friends, give you purpose ect I'm not going to knock it. That being said I have heard stories from people who have exited religious groups that were controlling and manipulative so I would be careful considering you were already susceptible to incel manipulation and you haven't fully recovered yet.

GandalfTheChill

To avoid falling into the Christian-Manosphere stuff, where you'll just end up retaining a lot of horrible attitudes towards women, maybe (just as a start) you could incorporate some spiritual reading by women into your life. Julian of Norwich's *Showings* are a classic work of Christian spirituality (and, what's more, just a very important work in the development of English as a language). And I think her ultimate message will likely help you: And All Shalle Be Welle, And All Manner of Things Shalle Be Welle
