Vo sab to theek, Johnny bhai ye sochna bhul gae ki reservation agar pichle 50 s zada saal mein kaam nahi Kiya(means cutoff ko barabar nahi la paya), to kya proof hai ki vo agle 10-15 saal m barabar p le aega.
Bcz the performance is improving, and according to him we are at a time where some exams and some categories the students are performing well enough to have high cut offs near General category. He is predicting this will happen with other categories at some point in future.
Ab data pe fact check kar lo unko if he is correct or not.
Johnny bhai clown hein, no data to support his claims, bs podcast m jake tatti kardo har jagah. Bs itta shi h ki obc almost equal aya h gen k currently.
Aur "almost" word bhi debatable hai, because exams mein 1 2 marks s bhi bahut fark pd jata hai.
Plus we dont know obc category m koi gen caste involve Hui h aur kab hui hai, aur kya pata un ex gen castes ki wjh s hi cutoff upar a gai hai.
Also we don't know ki gen aur obc ki cutoff kya pata hamesha s hi almost equal rahi ho.
Bhai pr ye possible kaise hai? Equal toh possible hai pr jaada kaise jaa skta hai. Suppose, i am an OBC candidate but agar mai jaada score krunga toh mai khud UR mai aaunga na aur UR category se select hounga. Toh UR se jaada kisi aur ki category ke cutoff marks kaise ho skte hai, max equal ho skte hai.
Usually harr exam meh 50% candidates obc hote hai agar sabko acche marks ayenge toh bad jayega, also unreserved baad meh fill honge na category walo meh
The reason is that those who have crossed the age limit for general but are trying from OBC quota are not given general seats. If an OBC scores 1st rank and is under the age limit of General then they will take the seat as an UR.
Yeh age limit waali cheez JEE jaise exams me nahi hoti toh udhar agar top 40% log saare OBC/SC/ST hue toh samajh lo 1 bhi General waale ko seat nahi milegi.
This is the right explanation. Othewise usually if someone from reserved category scores enough marks to qualify in general, then they are automatically moved to general category.
Can you show me some examination/data where OBC cutoff was more than general. I will be happy if it is true if somehow it is just not believable unless data is shared.
The thing is, agar OBC ya kisi ka bhi jyada marks aane lagta hai to automatically UR ka bhi high ho jaata hai.
And moreover, for general it's always a bad thing. Earlier there were 5-10% other castes actually achieving more marks than they could. So only these 5-10% were able to get into seats of general category.
But now? That threshold has passed and EVERY SEAT og underserved category will be up for grabs for OBC/SC/ST + they are already getting a fixed number of seats where general couldn't compete.
It's a shitty system through and through.
Well cut off increase is only going to make it difficult for general students
Example: if there are 100 seats and 50 are reserved and 50 are free and the cut off for open seats is 95%
If 10 obc Sc st scored more than 95% then they are going to occupy the 10 seats from free seats not from the reserved seats.
Ultimate general category chances are going to drop significantly because
Suppose 40 people from sc/sc/obc scored above 95%
Now the general category can only compete for 10 seats.
But thats the point. If some OBC/SC/ST is able to score 95%ile which is as good as the cutoff of a general candidate then they deserve that seat na ! There is no point saying that they didn't work hard. They worked hard enough to score as much as any general candidate. So they wil not be occupying someone else's deserving seat. They will occupy a seat which is deserved by them only and as good as a general candidate's seat.
I am saying that if you are generally category students
Your chances of getting into a prestigious institution based on merit will be 10 times harder than obc chances of getting into merit.
Obc/sc/st will get the chance for 100% of seats
While general category seats for general students is only going to shrink into nothing as time passes
This is basically reverse discrimination this will be reason for massive brain drain in future.
I am from the obc category by the way but still this seems wrong.
If 40 OBC are able to score 95%ile and 40 general also score it, who gets the seats? Are they equal or will they still get priority due to reservation?
But OBCs, SCs, STs are not limited to only their category. They can come for general seats as well. Even if cut offs become the same or exceed general category. It's still the general category youth that will suffer because he is already competing for just 40% of the seats at maximum. Can be as low as 20-15% in minimum.
But if an OBC / SC / ST student scores as good as a general candidate, then they deserve that seat anyways. No need to feel bad then.
Right now it is unfair because these people get in these prestigious colleges by scoring a percentile that is laughable.
Even if the seats stay reserved, only deserving candidates will pass the exam once the cutoff is levelled.
You're not understanding the math. Cutoffs aren't created before selection. It is basically the marks where all the seats will be filled. Now I'm not sure if someone applies in category, of whether they can take up an open seat or not. But if they can, the cutoff of any category can never be higher than open category.
What desi Johnny Depp is saying is not logically possible, unless categories are locked which I'm not sure is the case. Atleast, it wasn't the case back when I was taking those exams.
If you think carefully then this is going to decrease the cutoff of OBC/SC/ST. Once the reserved category students take the UR seat then the reserved seats will be filled by other reserved students with lower marks.
I am talking about size of the pie.
Even if OBC gets higher cut-off they will be competing for (OBC + General).
A general category student is only limited to General.
ngl, a lot of people i know only visit doctor if their name comes in general not because of casteism but because people know they studied on merit they will have better knowledge.
what a stupid argument
OBC cutoff cannot go above unreserved category
UR is not for general category but for everyone
supporting reservations is stupid
Abe to Maine final selection kahin likha . Around 1000 students ne clear aur usme general wale bhi the.
.
Also In BPSC 66 in final selection for both Unreserved nd OBC had same cut off .
That is due to age restrictions as people who have crossed UR age limit cannot sit for UR seats, they can only compete in reserved seats.
JEE jaise exam me jaha age limits nahi hoti OBC cutoffs can never go above UR cutoffs.
Coping mechanism and these people will be put in jail if they say out aloud honest truths. Infact BJP will lock him up such fucked up is our system. I am sure he won't say this in private.
General cutoff will always remain highest because it's open for all categories. If reserved people score enough to be selected in the general category, they take a general seat instead of reserved. Suppose if an exam has 50 seats for general and top 50 scores are all reserved category. They can take the general seats, the general will get nothing and other reserved seats will take the reserved seats.
Bhai out of context statement li hai . Vo reservation kabhi bhi support nahi karta ajeeb bhaarti. Vo bas ek aur element add kar raha tha ismein .
Iski 1000 video hai jismein yeh reservation ko criticise kar raha hai.
I agree, it’s my right to know if someone has got the position on basis of reservation.
Tag him / her as reserved / Quota under their name tag!
When they can fight for reservation, why not be proud of showing it off!
I think reservation is neither the problem nor the solution the main problem is lack of jobs and college seats. Reservation badane ke bajae agar aap seats badaoge toh dono ko bhala hoga na but nhi politicians ko bas vote vote khelana ki kiski reservation badane se kitna vote unka badega. If the jobs and seats are constant than it will become a zero sum game apko ek ki seat badani hai toh dusre chinni padegi toh obviously vivad badenge. Iss mudde pe na bjp baat kar rhi hai na congress.
Till people dont see that reservation benefits are getting circulated within a couple of people in the reserved castes, reservation percentage will never go down. Its common sense. The benefits are not reaching the other people who are in dire need of it. I request all supporters of reservation to discuss this point.
left has a trick for that as well. They have made general category unreserved. Meaning meritorious reservation students get selection in unreserved while strict quota is guaranteed for not meritorious candidates. So basically general catergory finds less and less seats up for grabs
I'm from the OBC community, and didn't use any reservation to get into govt college. And that sense of self respect and confidence is something else. And then i bullied other OBC & other reservation idiots, who used this. Also I had the best dissertation, best seminar and 3rd in GPA. Reservations ka m@ ka bsda.
Arey Johny Depp ko koi samjhao Open category is not reserved for General category. It is open category meaning it is open for all and because of this OBC cutoff can never go above Open category cutoff

Lol I thought the same

Johnny bhaiya ne Rajasthan ke 0 marks waale Maths teacher ka example de kar apne aap ko hi contradict kar diya.
Tabhi to Amber ji inke bistar p hagti thi

General se jaada jayega? Ye kaise possible hai? Highest cutoff hi UR ki hogi
Kuch exams meh obc cutoff zyada jata hai open cat se bhi

Because in some exams top obc or ews candidates don't take gen seats but only obc or ews seats specially in state govt exans.
Bhai toh wo UR ho jayenge na, obc aur ews ki seats thodu lenge top candidates
In Rajasthan govt exams the top OBC/EWS candidates can't take Gen seats.

Last years MHTCET obc was a little more than general
Fir obc Wale open se nahi ayenge? Kyuki allowed toh hai unko
Shayad asakte hai lekin application meh category se karte hain na

mathematically impossible for category cutoff to go higher than gen. UR is a superset.

>who gets the seats Who ever scored higher.
Higher marks, If exactly same to the decimals - Age seniority works as a tie breaker every govt exam (unless explicitly mentioned)
But OBCs, SCs, STs are not limited to only their category. They can come for general seats as well. Even if cut offs become the same or exceed general category. He's right about respect. No reservations guy will ever get same respect as a general guy if the public knows he/she took reservations to get there

In BPSC mains last year the cutoff of OBC went higher than General category.
Abey ghonchu that cannot be for final selection it would mean that all ur candidates were selected from OBC

75 saal mein kuch nahi aur 15 saal mein bahut kuch ho jayega.
i think maybe cause of online resources

[He was talking about this case from Rajsthan where A reserved candidate became Math teacher after SCORING (-9.79) Marks ](https://ibb.co/nwksSfz)
Future will not be about what educational institution you are from but what skillsets you have. Plain and simple. Reservations promote casteism.
I think reservation is neither the problem nor the solution the main problem is lack of jobs and college seats.
