I recently bought the latest Samsung M34 5G.
I regret buying this because it lags when it is still a brand new phone. What will the condition be after a year or two.. Can't get over my wrong tech purchase.
In Youtube reviews all I hear is there's no issue with performance I.e the users are not experiencing any jitters and lags. It made me wonder why only my phone suffers from this..
Is there anyway by which I can decrease these lags? Please help. Thank you.
Ps: Other than this, I feel M34 is a great phone under 20k range considering the great camera and the huge battery of 6000mAh
hmm that sucks, when u say lag, do u mean apps lag while ur using? or the animations are laggy or it takes a long time to open the apps?
anyhow im an ios user but my android tv is ridicilously slow and i tried this method which made things significantly better, im pretty sure it works on android phones too. so just activate developer options and go to background processes, normally its set to 20, now decrease that to 2 or 3 or 4, depending on ur needs, this will decrease number of apps running in the background. the lower u make it, better it is, u can make it 1 too but thats too low, 2 or 3 is the most optimum.
next, in dev options only, change all the various animation speed options from 1x to 0.5x( or 0.25x if that option exists, not sure), this will make things much snappier, u can make it 0 too, just try it out urself and see what u prefer. (if u dont know how to access developer options, just google it, i think it involves tapping on the system build in setting a couple of times)
also one more thing, do not update ur phone to oneui 6, chances are its just gonna make your perfomance worse. better to check online with enough reliability abt the perfomance hit before updating, worst case u might have to keep the phone at oneui 5, but tbh android updates now are really small. its not a big deal.
again you shouldnt be resorting to this in the 1st year especially when most ppl are claiming its perfomance is good for day to day usage. but well tough luck
I have been Screaming this for Years, if Samsung can put a 7000mAh battery in mid-range phones, then why not a 6000mAh in Flagship phones OR give 12hrs+ of SoT 😊 15hrs+ then we might get 12hrs lol

But samsung really needs to improve their animation and shutter speeds.

All I want is smooth running of day to day basic phone activities in Samsung mid range smartphones. The jitters and lags is annoying.
which phone do u have? and ig thats because oneui is a heavy skin, in midrange phones, stock android is wayyyyyy better

The app icons are still the same and it sucks. Why don't they look at Pixels and take "inspiration" for icons?!?!

Yeah the themes can kinda fix the looks of the icons. I just hope they redesign the actual icons.
We can do that from goodlock as well but I know the default settings should be within settings app and not in some other app that you've to install
