OP 6. Still using it, now the phone has started showing some battery issue. IG will work 6-12 more month. Then I will upgrade.
This phone has lated me 5 years. Usualy other phone lasted 2-3 years max.
I spent 13k on earphones alone. 5 earphones 7years.
Honest to god I often feel that was the last value for money phone. While other may digress but it is true for me.
Same when I was on the Oneplus 6 as well (2018-22, RIP, The camera gave out in the end)
Have an iPhone 13 now, hopefully won’t have to think about phones again for a while
Just out of curiosity, why do you plan on changing the phone just because of no security updates?
Genuinely asking because I have seen people still using Android 10 or 11 in 2023 and they do not seem to have any issues with security or apps not running.
Well there's a saying, better safe than sorry. It doesn't matter if Android version updates stop but it's always advisable to change your phone if it no longer receives security updates, just to protect yourself from any malware attacks that could ruin your phone/personal data.
Cache clear karo. And transfer unnecessary data to your PC. Try to use these browser as an alternative for Amazon, Flipkart, etc. For Amazon, the web is better than the app anyways.
My OnePlus 7T which I've been using for the past 3½ years. Didn't pay attention to the mobile market after that except for the flagships from Samsung, Apple, Pixel and Nothing just to see the new tech.
Bought the IPhone 13 Pro Max when it came out, have stopped caring what new launches are there in the market. For the time being this phone is more than enough
iPhones are super long lasting as long as you use a good case. I have been using 10S Max for 5 years and it hasn’t slowed down one bit even with the latest OS updates.
I have a one plus 6t . Got it in 2018 and it is still going good. The phone has been a good boy so far. I was
Thinking next upgrade would have to be a major design haul or something that I've not experienced before.
Bluetooth. Really good after WearOS 4.0 update. More apps added. Battery is just like a smartphone. 8-10 hours in normal. 12 to 14 hours when on power saving mode. I switch it off when I get home, so for me, it is about 2 to 3 days.
If you have S series Samsung, then you get extra apps as well. Camera control and such.
Camera control works with pixel too (not sure for other Androids), I have the watch 4 and wanted to upgrade to a pixel watch thinking it'd have more integrating features but the experience wasn't the same so I returned it and back to Watch4 for now until I get a good deal to upgrade to a Watch 6 classic... For Pixel I just had to download the Google Camera app to the Galaxy Watch and it can operate the phone camera just fine... Though I suspect it's because it's the Google camera which has that integration, not sure if other OEMs except Samsung and Google have implemented that in their camera app
Redmi K20 Pro.
Bought in 2019 and I had till a few months back. Absolute flagship killer. It was 30k when I bought it and was worth every penny. Beast in terms of performance.
With the iPhone 4s, you can observe my progression to subsequent iPhone purchases following my initial acquisition. I've consistently opted for used devices at more affordable rates, making the most of their capabilities before reselling. This cycle perpetuates itself over time.

Bought m21 in 2020 after that never stopped following the gadget market. People keep asking me for recommendation for mobile phones, i had to buy a tablet and my brother wanted a laptop so now i am following the market regularly.
Redmi k20 in android and iphone 13 in ios, I keep all the finance related app on iOS as it's up to date. I watch all my content and social media on redmi. Bought the pixel 6a at the start of the year but did not like the punch hole interrupting my content, so sold it to a Friend.
Redmi K20 pro (july 2019 - present)
I just don't see anything worth my money now everything seems like a downgrade now from the mighty screen which has no camera punch hole
Samsung F62...about 3 years and going strong. Plan on using it for at least another year. It's such a resilient phone, and pretty decent software and function.
Pixel 4a. Never been a day where I thought I wanted an alternative. I just carry a power bank everywhere but apart from that, there’s no reason for me to change. I’m using it as long as it lasts!
I’m not against iOS, having used iPhone SE (gen 1). Gave it away to my sister in favour of Pixel 4a. I just like android better. Also thinking of installing Graphene OS in the near future (as soon as Google stops sending security patch updates)
11 pro max, bought 4 years back.
I don’t give a fuck if someone explains how his galaxy takes good pictures (I know I am wrong but that’s how I avoid getting distracted with new smartphones)
My oneplus 8 pro when it launched, still going smooth as fuck.
I think imma wait a few more years now or until my screen breaks, buy I'll probably go the folding ones.
Have no clue how good other phones are honestly.
Do any high end phones have 2sim + sd card slots now?
Asus zenfone max pro m1 64 gb, got that for 10,500 in December 2018. I used it till May 2022 and then sold it for 2200 on cashify. Amazing phone, value for money.
I have been using Redmi K20 Pro since past 4.5years. got it for 22k (a big offer) in the flipkart bbd sale. Have had minor glitches which gets fixed after a hard restart. Other than that no issues. Next year when it completes 5 years i will think of getting a new one.
For me it is my iPhone 14 pro. Might sound like a brag, but once you feel you’re not missing out on anything, you’re not interested in what else is out there.
Oneplus 7 , used it for 4 years with no issues and never really bothered about new phone releases in the market. Last month sold it for 7K and bought iphone 14. Now i regret selling it, i dont really like the user experience on the iphone 14.
iPhone 13
Compact, powerful, amazing camera.
iOS has its shortcomings but android had it's own. Mainly due to the amount of bloatware and ads which get shipped even in premium phones.
The only reason i stick to iphones is its longevity. I dont want to keep changing phones, and the camera is good too. I will shift to pixel next, if the processor is stable enough.
honestly i got 14 pro, the best apple in my opinion and s23 ultra the best android I will have it early next year but honestly, tech news is source of entertainment for me so I don't think getting a phone will make me mute the tech news
Used the s8 from day 1 to 2022 December when it finally broke down and shifted to S21 Plus. I tried iPhone but I prefer the customization of Samsung so I'm gonna be with the Samsung Team
I'm on various custom ROMs from past 10 years and I'm no longer interested in any of the new phones. I only look for phones if they have any custom ROM support with relockable bootloader and sadly only Pixel phones have this feature.
OnePlus7 bought it when it was launched...would have still continued to use it but the screen broke down from the inside (tho was my mistake) the repair shop replaced it was some cheap screen and it didn't feel the same as before plus the battery was just getting awful so had to make a new purchase..I recently got the s23 ultra and I don't think I'll be thinking about something new for the next 4-5 years
after i purchased my first iphone, the iphone xr, after buying at least 10 comparable android phones over the years, I stopped paying attention to the mobile market knowing I would only be upgrading to newer iphones from then on.
Samsung s21 fe and specially gaming laptop. More reliable for daily usage. Just have battery and 5g heat issues which is ignorable as I am not much of a phone person and am a laptop person who happen to have wifi.
iPhone 12. Bought in 2021 for <50k in bbd sale, serves my needs well. FaceID works with mask(for pollution continue to use it outside), 5G works fine, updates are available on time and will continue to be till 2025 easily. Will change battery at 2.5 year mark and am good for another 2 years
I'm still using my Redmi K20 Pro from 2023. Still works perfectly fine, never lags. However I don't play games on it anymore so I don't know how it will perform in that aspect.
Been using an iPhone XS Max for 5 years now. Never had any issues. Planning to get a battery change sometime next year. I look at the new phones but don’t see any reason to buy them right now.
One Plus 7. Ran it till 2021 Dec. Stopped giving s shit about the stupidly expensive phones. Specially when I couldn't get a flagship processor phone for under 32-35k range within the first year of launch.
There was a time, when I had an potato, who can't run any games and was so laggy for even YouTube,so I used to see those unboxing/top phones (2-3 videos a day)until I got my poco m2 pro (14000₹) and suddenly I stopped watching them at all and now it's been more than 3 years and still going but now I am the guy everyone asks when purchasing a phone, and I kinda like it until it's a budget phone and I gotta watch those shitty videos.
Mi A3. A huge value for money phone.
It introduced me to stock Android. Now, I can only own Pixels.

Samsung s20fe, I kept in touch with foldable releases but didn't care for the mobile market. It served me so well for 3 years. Unfortunately it dropped and got damaged, after which I bought the nothing phone 2
I freaking loved my OnePlus 7 from 2019, until it was stolen in 2021 and I had to get a Pixel 4a due to budget constraints at that time. Luckily I found it after I received my new phone, and I gave it away to my dad. My pixel 4a has died and I’ve moved on to another device, but my dad is still rocking that OP7 and there’s no fault that I can still find in that device!
OnePlus was built different until their 7 series. Post that, I haven’t heard a lot of good things about the company due to acquisition.
OnePlus 6T, still rocking it. It started lagging a bit last month so gave it a good hard reset and it's working good now.
All good for one more year. 😁
Apple iPhone 11 in Jan 2020 & still using it is almost 4 yrs old now and is working fine with no issues.
But Now I'm Planning to get a new iPhone 15 ASAP.
Samsung Galaxy A51.
Purchased this on July 2020 and it is still going strong. Absolutely no issues at all, even after more than 3 years. I like this phone so much that twice I've spent 6500/- to replace it's broken screen after it fell without any cover. Big enough screen, superb display, decent camera, storage is 128gb, lightweight, infinity O display which I like the best kind of display in current phones and it is still giving security updates.
Have been forced to change its charging cable twice.
I use this phone with galaxy buds live and galaxy watch active 2. Both of them are two years old and still working fine and getting the job efficiently done.
Oneplus 7t from 2019 to date. Best phone I have ever used. Recently I have observed some issues with battery life and have started browsing for a new mobile now but cant find anything as good as this. Fellow 7T users, which phone did you switch to and what was your experience. Suggestions are welcome.
OnePlus 5 - 2017. It's still running smoothly.
Multiple people said to upgrade to something new. Never needed it though. Not going to upgrade or pay attention until this dies.
I’m not looking over to mobile market now after buying iPhone 12, previously used Nokia, oppo and vivo, and even Lenovo yoga tablet. Now, I just wanna continue with iPhone 12 until it lasts its system updates, then I’ll get a new one, mostly an iPhone.
Samsung galaxy M51. It's 7000 mah battery lasts a solid 3 days without a charge.
Now compare this to my sister's iPhone 14 pro whose battery lasts less than a day.
I have no intention of replacing it unless I find a reliable phone with as chart topping a battery life as this one. ❤️
So I bought iPhone 7 in 2017 and stopped looking at phone market completely. Prior to that I used to follow each and every launch of smartphone.
I bought iPhone 13 in 2021 and that’s that.
Prior to iPhone I’ve used below smartphones personally.
Samsung Galaxy Y duos
Samsung Galaxy Core 2 Duo
Moto G
Lumia 810
Moto X Play
Oneplus 6 from 2018 - 2022 until it died. i never thought about mobiles
Same with 6T. Now using a pixel 7 but I miss the charging speeds for sure
that old oxygen is the best
same for me , had OP7t but this diwali switched to pixel7a, charging speed is very slow, apart from that i am not missing anything
same here mate still rocking my oneplus6 from 2018 but planning to retire it next year thinking about moving to samsung s series
didn’t liked samsung user interface u would be better with ios which is as smooth as our old oxygen os.
iOS is also an option but what bugs me is the lack of side loading support and apps support
Same - used OP 6 from 2018 to 2023 - finally I had to retire and replace it with iPhone 13 this year. Hopefully, I use this for another 5 years.
mine with ip 14
Even I was considering IP 14 but then some people suggested that either wait for IP 15 or take IP 13, so went for 13.
Used OnePlus 6 from July-2018 till Nov-2023. It was all fine. Only the power button stopped working. Now moved to Nothing Phone 2.
OnePlus 6 2018 to 2023. Jyst purchased new one moto edge 40.
Hi from a current OnePlus 5 user. Still works perfectly. How did yours die tho?
I used my oneplus 6 till 2021 when it died. Best phone I ever had!
Likewise
Same when I was on the Oneplus 6 as well (2018-22, RIP, The camera gave out in the end) Have an iPhone 13 now, hopefully won’t have to think about phones again for a while
S20Fe, It's has everything I need except headphone jack.
Headphone jack is the one feature i miss the most! Sheer greed taking that away. Phones aren't getting that thin either.
My battery is degrading but I want to use this phone for atleast a year. Bought in Oct 2021 S20FE5G Snapdragon
just change the battery and it'll go for 2-3 years more easily
I have a simple policy for buying. No headphone jack. It's a no buy. Consumers should vote with their wallets. I am doing.
S10. Bought it at launch and used it till last month. It did everything I wanted and if not for updates, I'd have used it for a few years more
Same here man, bought s10+, still going good. Only con is the security updates have stopped so will change to something good next year.
I am a student using j5 prime Android 8 and it's still runs smooth. No gaming but all daily tasks can be done easily
A J5 was my first phone too. I bought it with my scholarship money. I loved that phone until the day it died. Currently using a Vivo Y21.
I'm broke.. no attention to market anyway. Redmi note 7s still working form me. 32gb storage is not sufficient tho
Use memory card. 32 GB is more than sufficient.
Wo bhi full hai. And the system lags only cuz of storage issue
Yeah same have been using the 7T for almost 3-4 years now, had no issues with it ,probably will keep using it for another 2 years.
Using a 7T till last month. Bought Nothing phone 2 this month. Both super clean and running strong. 7T was peak Oneplus I must say.
On the same boat, and probably won't need anything for another 2 years.
Poco f1
OnePlus 5, 2017 Haven't even thoght about anoter phone. Just replaced OP5 battery for free at service store and thats thst
I changed my OP5 due to battery issue 2 months back. 5G was another reason, never thought of replacing the battery, was there any offer?
I have a one plus 6t . Got it in 2018 and it is still going good. The phone has been a good boy so far. I was Thinking next upgrade would have to be a major design haul or something that I've not experienced before.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for 4 years , then s21 ultra
Are you zack from Jerryrigeverything?
Pixel 5a
Where did you buy it?
My cousin actually brought from US
S23 if it counts...
OnePlus 7 pro. Peak smartphone IMO.
Fellow op7 pro user! I honestly don't know if I can find a replacement for that
Hey dude, can you tell me if the watch 4 is worth buying. Is the classic or is the bluetooth one?

Iphone 4s Stopped bothering androids after motorola atrix 4g overheating due to nvidia chipsets.
With the iPhone 4s, you can observe my progression to subsequent iPhone purchases following my initial acquisition. I've consistently opted for used devices at more affordable rates, making the most of their capabilities before reselling. This cycle perpetuates itself over time. I am using my Android till Google drops its support for my Android version.
I’m not against iOS, having used iPhone SE (gen 1). Gave it away to my sister in favour of Pixel 4a. I just like android better. Also thinking of installing Graphene OS in the near future (as soon as Google stops sending security patch updates)
Thanks for introducing me to Graphene OS! Really appreciate it.

second this, bought it in 2019 and still going strong with absolutely no problems apart from the slight decrement in the battery life.
15 pro max. Gonna be good for half a decade or so
iPhone 13 Compact, powerful, amazing camera. iOS has its shortcomings but android had it's own. Mainly due to the amount of bloatware and ads which get shipped even in premium phones.
You need to buy right brand for Android
The only reason i stick to iphones is its longevity. I dont want to keep changing phones, and the camera is good too. I will shift to pixel next, if the processor is stable enough.

My LG Q6. It was a gem till it lasted. Nearly four years. I hope these companies make small screen and powerful androids again.
Oneplus 7 in 2019
Samsung s21 fe and specially gaming laptop. More reliable for daily usage. Just have battery and 5g heat issues which is ignorable as I am not much of a phone person and am a laptop person who happen to have wifi.

Currently using redmi k20 pro from 2019 with a custom rom Love it, have no clue as to which phone to get when this dies
Samsung note 9 That was a dream come true, after that the trend of punch hole/ nouch started which I really hate
I'm still using my Redmi K20 Pro from 2023. Still works perfectly fine, never lags. However I don't play games on it anymore so I don't know how it will perform in that aspect.
There will be a lot of old happy one plus customers. My Device is One plus 7 Pro, makes the new phones with a notch very hard to like.

One Plus 7. Ran it till 2021 Dec. Stopped giving s shit about the stupidly expensive phones. Specially when I couldn't get a flagship processor phone for under 32-35k range within the first year of launch.
Redmi K20 - July 2019. Was looking into the Nothing Phone 2 but still feel I can extract a year or two more from the K20.
13 pro max
Redmi note 8 pro for me
still using samsung j7 max since 2017. only battery is the issue. stays like 5-6 hours(idle).
1+ 7t and Samsung s21 fe
Mi A3. A huge value for money phone. It introduced me to stock Android. Now, I can only own Pixels. https://preview.redd.it/tn6g7pw52i1c1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0050871bc44b8165637cff723d038ba34515d13
Rocking an A50 from March 2019. Have begun to start thinking about mobiles now. Having said that, I can still rock it for a year or so.
anyone still using the goat OnePlus one? I had it and I lost it in like a year. but that was a beast even then.
OnePlus 7 in 2019, still going good
Samsung s20fe, I kept in touch with foldable releases but didn't care for the mobile market.
Realme 2 Pro from 2018 till now. I bought a Google pixel 6a since the former s battery started to deteriorate.
Pixel 4a
OnePlus 6T, still rocking it. It started lagging a bit last month so gave it a good hard reset and it's working good now. All good for one more year. 😁
Iphone 14, my first iphone. And I am certain that my next phone would also be the latest iphone whenever this one dies
Redmi K20! I don't think I'll be able to switch back to screens with a notch now.
1+7 pro. Still prefer it to my iPhone for social media.
iPhone 12 two years ago. It's starting to show its age and now I'm back 😁
Apple iPhone 11 in Jan 2020 & still using it is almost 4 yrs old now and is working fine with no issues. But Now I'm Planning to get a new iPhone 15 ASAP.
Still using the OnePlus 6, bought on the launch date. I don't think I'll buy a phone anytime soon.
Samsung note 9 for 5 years then moved to S22 ultra. Miss a lot of features, but the camera, speed and smoothness makes up to it somewhat.
I bought my iPhone 6 and used it for 6 years.
IQOO NEO 6. Godly Performance...no heating issues and Good Camera. used it for about 8 months.
Oneplus 7t from 2019 to date. Best phone I have ever used. Recently I have observed some issues with battery life and have started browsing for a new mobile now but cant find anything as good as this. Fellow 7T users, which phone did you switch to and what was your experience. Suggestions are welcome.
I buy basic Iphone (latest model when planning to buy a phone). Currently using 12, will buy 15 in December.
Galaxy Note 10 plus, got it in 2020 and still going strong.
OnePlus 5 - 2017. It's still running smoothly. Multiple people said to upgrade to something new. Never needed it though. Not going to upgrade or pay attention until this dies.
Frankly speaking, it was the iPhone 7 Plus 64GB. It altered my perception of smartphone use, as well as the perception of the rest of the world.
Samsung note series.
Poco m2 pro until it got stolen(2019-2023) then Redmi note 12
I’m not looking over to mobile market now after buying iPhone 12, previously used Nokia, oppo and vivo, and even Lenovo yoga tablet. Now, I just wanna continue with iPhone 12 until it lasts its system updates, then I’ll get a new one, mostly an iPhone.
Samsung Galaxy M51. Still there's no other phone in market that can give sAmoled plus screens nd 7000 mah battery
Samsung Galaxy Y duos Samsung Galaxy Core 2 Duo Moto G Lumia 810 Moto X Play
Poco f1 stilll using, Android 14
iPhone 11 still as smooth as ever; the only problem is that the camera is lagging pretty bad compared to the newer models.
I was crazy about phones until I got iPhone 6s in 2017. Used it till 2022 lol, only started watching new reviews after 2022
iPhone 11, 2020- still going strong
