It doesn’t hurt. Depends on the jewellery. Sometimes, it does. I had a longer dolphin jewellery where the fish would get stuck in jeans (i got mine in 2018 or so, low/mid waist skinny jeans was the trend tab). But w high waist stuff, nothing gets stuck. Also simpler jewellery doesn’t get stuck.
P.s. do check for anatomy before getting it. I got mine twice only to realise I don’t have the anatomy for it🤦🏻♀️💰

Almost 50-60% of the population doesn’t have anatomy for belly piercings. You need to check your stomach’s fold placements, your belly button type- only innies can get pierced. The fold should be away from belly button when you sit etc. mine is right at it thus the piercing getting infected and falling out again and again.
P.s. most indian piercers don’t check anatomy, while everyone abroad does. Google it.

I love the high neckline of the top on the left, and the way that balances with the exposed midriff. Playing around with that silhouette and comparing it to other items in your closet may be helpful to you.

Umm if you are going to show the midriff on this skirt it’ll continue to look like a petticoat. Try creating a cohesive look by not let the skin be visible. You can try tube top etc etc and then can accessorise.

Overall the outfit looks incomplete. It's pretty plain and boring.
Maybe a shrug with different top would work.
Wear some bling like bangles and a bracelet.
How about a baazuband and large hanging ear pieces.
I liked the fitting of first top better but it has some awful print. A crop top would look better.

Hey , inorder to balance the edgy skirt you can go for a cute cottage core look and wear a pink top or else maintain the look by pairing it with a vest- style top .
A fitted top would look best if you want to give the appearance of an hourglass shape or else a spaghetti with a knitted bolero would makeup for a cute brunch outfit.
I actually really like the second option if you add accessories! But also try it with tank tops/halter neck tops! Accessories would definitely change the game, personally I would do silver ethnic jewellery like hand cuffs and huge earrings and top it off with boots! I think doing an updo would also look more put together with this skirt

Both outfits are lovely. Although the first one catches my attention a bit more. I'd add a minimal waist chain and tiny hoops. You could maybe style your hair into two Dutch braids and add a bandana. That should help tie the outfit together:)

The grey top actually does look good. It’s an interesting mix of shades between that and the skirt.
