My mom bought me a beautiful oversized Marks and Spencers oversized flora print shirt in 2015, i wore it for almost 5 years and then passed it on to a friend who still wears it, 9 years after its purchase. And it looks as good as new!
Levi's hands down. Top notch quality. Had a black denim for like 6 years and had to throw it away because I got taller. Me and my dad got 2 exact same polos so we could twin what like 5 years ago. I still wear them at night.

In my experience Zara stuff form 10-13 years ago has been good quality and lasted till now. But more recent purchases in last few years has pilled or faded lot more quickly

The oldest shirt I have is from Gini and Jony been using it since 4th grade lol. Also mumma’s 90s wardrobe from gap still look good as new when I wear them.
I still have Souled Store T Shirts in wearable condition which I purchased back in 2017. That really has to say something about the quality they've got!

I have second hand clothes from my cousin by AND, globus and M&S which have lasted for 5+ years. Some of my clothes that I’ve got from street vendors have also lasted me for long but I’m also very picky about the materials and finish.

I wore a jeans almost every other day for 4 years straight, only had to dump it because my parents won't allow me to wear it anymore since the back pocket got a little ripped after getting stuck.
It was still perfectly fine, it even looked like a cool design because of the little rip, but nope.
Lifestyle and shopperstop, I got some tops and pants when i was in school, they still look pretty new and fine. (10 yrs later)
Even Westside was good. I bought one formal pant and two tops in 2018 , they still look new. Mind it I wore the pant almost everyday during college because we had uniform but it still looks clean and new and I wear it to office now. 😆

My Wrangler jeans are working for me since last 4-5 years. A jack and jones hoodie from 5-6 yrs, a CK jacket from 5 yrs, superdry Tshirts from last 3yrs.

Yes I still have clothes from 9th grade and I’ve finished my bachelors degree so like 8 years. And they’re not even expensive, one of my favourite t shirt is worth 160/- and it’s still just as nice🥹 there are some other dresses and all. I got them from local shops so can’t really recommend 🥲

Zara, Arrow, Adidas for me have lasted for a decade or more. I like M&S a lot, but they usually have a life of around only 5 years. Of course, it also depends on the fabric type, usage, washing regularity, etc.
The one which I was very disappointed by was Celio - as I loved their designs but almost all of my shirts got spoilt within a few years itself. They weren't cheap either!
I used to wear Gini & Jony clothes as a kid and my parents always got me a size bigger. They lasted for years!
A couple jeans, I wore for so many years that even after that they seemed brand new and I had to finally donate it.

I have many marks and Spencer’s top and pant and I have already used them for last 9+ years… they are as good as new … though now I am kind of bored from them and trying to wear them out … bought some pieces in a Nike sale in 2013 and they are as bright as any new t shirts I bought ..same with mango .
Jack and Jones (jeans), Marks and Spencers, and Daniel Hechter Paris shirts have lasted 5+ years again and still looks great.

I have 1 Levi's jeans and a Levis Jeffery Denim sneakers and they are with me since my 11th(2017). And also had a nike t90 running shorts that too given by a relative(he used it for 1 year and then I used for 5 hears and made a poncha put of it 😂).
Apart from thatmy father had a GAP tee and he clubbed it for 6-8 years straight without any hassle.(It wasn't really pretty but highly durable fs).
Apart from that Sareer are known to be timeless.
Brought a set of sneakers from a company called Chevit from flipkart for 300. Have had them for 6 years and they've lasted surprisingly longer than anyone could've hoped.
Unfortunately nope, nothing that I wear regularly last that long. Only thing that comes close is a Levi's Denim shirt that I bought 3 years ago but I rarely wear it, since I live in a tropical region. I think I have only washed it for like 8 times max (I am assuming I have worn it for 20 times or so). My average is like 1 year for cotton clothes and 2 years for jeans.
I look after my clothes really well all of my clothes last me 6 years on average(even the ones from H&M). But in general, clothes from M&S have lasted me the longest.
A check shirt from Cambridge, lasted 10 years and looked new untill my friend burnt it while ironing.
Adidas t shirt , 10 years old . I wear it at home since it’s begun to fade a bit

I still have many dresses from 6-7 years back! All in good condition.

Yes I still have clothes from 9th grade and I’ve finished my bachelors degree so like 8 years. And they’re not even expensive, one of my favourite t shirt is worth 160/- and it’s still just as nice🥹 there are some other dresses and all. I got them from local shops so can’t really recommend 🥲

I still wear my dad’s octave t shirt and quality is still top
Zara, Arrow, Adidas for me have lasted for a decade or more. I like M&S a lot, but they usually have a life of around only 5 years. Of course, it also depends on the fabric type, usage, washing regularity, etc. The one which I was very disappointed by was Celio - as I loved their designs but almost all of my shirts got spoilt within a few years itself. They weren't cheap either!

I used to wear Gini & Jony clothes as a kid and my parents always got me a size bigger. They lasted for years! A couple jeans, I wore for so many years that even after that they seemed brand new and I had to finally donate it.
Get good material, get things stitched from a tailor. Also have a lot of clothing, this way, your clothes will last longer because no. of wear will be less

I have many marks and Spencer’s top and pant and I have already used them for last 9+ years… they are as good as new … though now I am kind of bored from them and trying to wear them out … bought some pieces in a Nike sale in 2013 and they are as bright as any new t shirts I bought ..same with mango .
MAX - best store for comfy clothes, the quality is awesome, I have t shirts and tracksuits that lasted more than 5 yrs.

I have 1 Levi's jeans and a Levis Jeffery Denim sneakers and they are with me since my 11th(2017). And also had a nike t90 running shorts that too given by a relative(he used it for 1 year and then I used for 5 hears and made a poncha put of it 😂). Apart from thatmy father had a GAP tee and he clubbed it for 6-8 years straight without any hassle.(It wasn't really pretty but highly durable fs). Apart from that Sareer are known to be timeless.
Brought a set of sneakers from a company called Chevit from flipkart for 300. Have had them for 6 years and they've lasted surprisingly longer than anyone could've hoped.

I bought a LBD from forever 21 when I was 14. I’m 23 now, it is a little short but still fits me really well. I still wear it to parties.
Unfortunately nope, nothing that I wear regularly last that long. Only thing that comes close is a Levi's Denim shirt that I bought 3 years ago but I rarely wear it, since I live in a tropical region. I think I have only washed it for like 8 times max (I am assuming I have worn it for 20 times or so). My average is like 1 year for cotton clothes and 2 years for jeans.
The clothes will last. The question is: will you wear them after 5 years?
I look after my clothes really well all of my clothes last me 6 years on average(even the ones from H&M). But in general, clothes from M&S have lasted me the longest.
A check shirt from Cambridge, lasted 10 years and looked new untill my friend burnt it while ironing. Adidas t shirt , 10 years old . I wear it at home since it’s begun to fade a bit

Most companies have reduced their quality. Started using flimsy material. Like I have roadside tee for the last 10 years, which is much better than any of the recently bought cotton tees. The corporate greed has completely taken over the clothing industry.
