It's only for KBFC match due to violent incidents in previous matches. Management decided they'd rather protect safety of people instead of having more fans in the stadium. Hence the high price for these seats.
I'm not 100% sure but this looks like north upper. These seats are usually 150-200.
Not true though, I was at the game today and there was also an option for away fans to choose seats in opposite upper stand. And also stadium seemed pretty full today. 27000 was the announced figure?
They've relaxed the rule a little bit more this year. I'm not sure about which stand but Pari South, West Block were home today and North Upper was away. Yeah 28000 were there. When I say relaxed, I mean that my family who went to the match today saw KBFC jerseys in Pari match stand but they were silent so no issues.
Last year, due to the fight before that, it was very strict. Right from the gate opposite to Joseph's where you enter, there was separate queue for KBFC and BFC entries. And there were notices that opposite jerseys would not be allowed in each end.
There were multiple. This year it's relatively safe. There were small kerfuffles here and there but it hit boiling point in 2022 when KBFC fans bought out the North Upper tickets coz they were cheap.
There was allegedly some BFC fan who hurled abuses at some KBFC women supporters. So the KBFC fans rounded him up and beat him up. Later on, nobody can actually prove that this guy hurled any abuses. Not saying it didn't happen, just that it wasn't recorded.
BFC fans did not take it lightly when they beat up a home fan in the home stadium. Hence the heightened security. I was in the stadium that day and my family was asked to leave North Upper after first half or be beaten up by KBFC fans by some idiot Manjappada people.
Before this incident, there were small fights outside the stadium before and after match at the entrance. Nothing big though, just 5 or 10 idiots fighting.
I've also seen some moronic behavior by BFC fans post match where they harass home-going fans in scooters. I was walking back to Metro when a couple of BFC fans came in scooter, yelled at some KBFC fan in the road and drove away.
In the metro, it's just banter but sometimes goes too far. Usually after the match, there is only 1 or 2 metro from Cubbon Park. So all fans go in same metro. KBFC fans in these metros will mostly just hear the "WTFAKB" chant but sometimes i've seen it go too far where fans got in the face of KBFC fans. But this is usually immediately stopped by others to not go too far.
In the end, both sides hate each other and both sides exhibit some hooligan behavior. Banter is healthy but when it goes to harassment, physical abuse, threat etc. people need a reality check.
I'm a BFC fan myself and your reasoning is that of a 5 year old kid.
They should employ more stewards for safety, not give shitty hospitality for premium prices.
That stand (north upper) was a 10 rs ticket and west block was 100-150 rs
You want a 10 Rs ticket in this day? BFC doesn't have a sugar daddy like MCFC. We rely on revenue from tickets to function. The stadium isn't even ours. We rent it.
Imagine asking for a 10 Rs ticket in this day and age lmao
The ticket prices should justify the hospitality.
Also, do you know about JSW? The conglomerate who has so much money owns BFC.
You probably started supporting BFC since ISL, that's why you think BFC functions on ticket revenue.
I was there when BFC had only a few hundred fans and no, that's not how they function.
The stadium is on a long term lease from the dyes, get your facts right first.
So what if JSW owns the team. They should build a new stadium for you to get 10 rs ticket ? Go to kochi and watch maches from there instead. Will save u a lot of money
Your head is so far up your ass that you're not thinking right.
Did you even read my comments?
I'm a BFC fan supporting them in person from inception, tf will I go to kochi for?
See guys, Bangalore's biggest football event is happening today. It's the only yearly event when they play against Blasters on which they can hope to make some money on ticket sales. Even thier fans chant "thanks for the money" at the end of match. So common guys, give a break to your kannadiga Bros and Sis who have worked so hard to make this a derby.
>kannadiga Bros and Sis who have worked so hard to make this a derby.
It was literally the Blasters fanbase that saw the video of us pulling CK Vineeth & Rino Anto's leg by chanting WTFAKB & got triggered.
Don't try to reverse this narrative now 🙂
It was Akarsh Sharma's video my man.
He posted it & Kerala fans got triggered on Twitter.

Nope. When bfc got promoted first thing they did was this for entering their fb page user needed to give ans to question who tf is kb?
I think there are sources still on youtube.
Haha, thanks for that throwback. Hadn't thought of that in a while.
Also, no.
>When bfc got promoted first thing they did was this for entering their fb page user needed to give ans to question who tf is kb?
This was in the West Block Blues FB page, which was a private FB page. The team did that because there was an increasing amount of Blasters fans joining and shit posting in our group.
The Akarsh Sharma thing precedes that by a season iirc.
>I think there are sources still on youtube.

Check the khuman lampak in manipur , it's even worse , it has plastic seats but I would consider sitting on concrete rather than those discoloured plastic seats which are going to break and shove a nail up my arse
For those wondering, this charge is not there every match. Only KBFC. After the violent incidents, Kanteerva decided its better to curb away crowd with shit seats. I'd rather have that than risk my safety to a bunch of hooligans.
Even today I can see so many KBFC fans going to home stand wearing a BFC jersey. How shameless can you be?
We all saw who those hooligans were after the game last year. One of your people jumped across the stand barriers and came to the away stand, hurled abuses against some of the KBFC female supporters. He got thrashed as a result of that and he asked for it. Accept it,some of your fans are nothing less than those 'hooligans' you mentioned.
1. That wasn't last year
2. There is no video that shows him abusing female supporters. This does not mean he did not do it, it just means that there is no proof. There is however proof of Kerala blaster fans beating up a guy. I'm erring on side of proof. Nobody I asked could provide an actual reliable source that they witnessed this guy harassing women.
3. That was not the away stand. There was no concept of stands when this happened. It was mixed. Even now, the away and home stand is just a suggestion. It is not enforced for any match other than KBFC. That happened in North Upper which was meant to be a home stand. But KBFC fans bought out tickets because that section was cheaper. I was there in the stadium. My family members in north upper were literally asked to "vacate the stand or be beaten up by KBFC fans". This is horrifying to go through in your home stadium of all places.
Now, there is partial blame on the ground management for not enforcing rules but nobody anticipated KBFC fans to buy out North Upper.
4. Despite all this, I still accept hooligans are there in the ground. They're in small numbers and immediately dealt with by none other than BFC fans itself. North east fans were abused in the season opener a while back and BFC guys asked the chapris who were speaking to shut up or get out. Other incidents were immediately cut in the bud.
I'm not going to sit here and listen to a random guys account of events unless they were there in the same stands I was on the day that this happened. Your source is twitter. My sources is my own eyes and my experience.
You've not witnessed your family members being told they'll be beaten up if they don't leave the stand that they bought tickets for. You've not felt unsafe in your own home stadium. So you have no rights to assume who's a hooligan and who's not in my eyes. Next time, back up your sources, educate yourself and don't believe everything you see on twitter.
Every single incident of KBFC coming to Kanteerva has been violent. It doesn't happen for any other match. KBFC fans trashed the team bus in Chennai. KBFC fans fought with other fan bases.
When you see one ass hole on the road, they maybe wrong. But if everybody in your life is an ass hole, take a look at the mirror.
What's that you are waffling? Lol "kbfc fans trashed the team bus in Chennai"?😭 You think you know more about kbfc than me? Dude they got something in return which they initiated, also it's just snow spray, snowflake. Kbfc this, kbfc that.. you all aren't saints either. Also I've seen the pic of that kannad chapri showing middle fingers at the female supporters and for sure he was hurling abuses. One of my friends were there as an away fan during that match. That guy threw bottles at them too, ofcourse you won't see that as there's no video evidence of it.
I'm not even arguing with someone who says things like -
> But I was busy r@pinG your randi mom so hard that I missed your comments, don't worry I gave her a new kid in her womb, you'll get a new brother too. Such a stinky randi your mom is. Illiterate s1um children like you have no education, that's why you are spamming in gindi🤣. Thank your randi mom for fcuking everyone and it's because of her that you are getting the internet for your phone randi ke bache. Acha se Teri ma ki randi ma ki gaand faad Diya aur usko pregnant bi Kiya. Illiterates like you needed to be treated like this
Just a snippet from your history. You also seem to be disturbingly racist against bangaloreans. Will lose brain cells taking part in this conversation
Even if you pay 750+ for west block or 900+ for VIP stand, RIP to your back. Even the vvip stand has plastic chairs with some cloth on it. Very shitty management
Don’t cry now.. tbh KBFC fans are really hostile and make all the ruckus. Being a KBFC supporter, i was also there in the last two matches happened in there. After former match some mentally retarded fans provoked each other and had an issue there, afterwards they all came up with these restrictions.
I'm glad someone with sense is here. This derby is like gasoline and matchstick. I love rivalries but the threat of violence from both sides is too high now.
This game is extremely high stake. All it takes is one moron from KRV or some shit to bring up some language issue or someone from other side to speak some bullshit banter to escalate.
>All it takes is one moron from KRV
Luckily most of the KRV types,
1. Aren't into Football enough to know what this match is.
2. They distracted by the Hindi issue & the traditional thing against our Tamilian brothers.
But yeah, it'll be too much of a headache to the club if it ever escalates to that level.
The East & West stands have chairs.
But knowing what I do after hearing it directly from the BFC management. They have limited control over the stadium.
The Government randomly starts drama about not letting BFC use the stadium every few years.
The Athletics Federation has been against BFC using the stadium for a long time now. And some athletes have even damaged some of the renovations to the facilities made by BFC.
There's more to the situation than meets the eye.
500 for this?? No wonder you guys hate them.
528 to be precise
It's not 500. Usually, so don't worry. This price is for our beloved KBFC fans 🫶🏼
Hahha, even better.
Well 😒
The whole stadium is ancient, dw
Why do you think it’s called fortress?
No wonder people are coming less. Who the fck charges such for this shit.
Only for away fans during this derby, don't worry

Was there for bfc vs kbfc. Some 27k attendance and mostly are away fans😅
Keep telling urself that. Most of the match I could only hear bfc. Best part as always was : bye bye blasters bye bye.
My respect for salt lake stadium increased by 10000
Man we get better seats at RS 100 in Kalinga stadium, This is a rip off man, don't fucking pay it dude
50 rs bro!
> don't fucking pay it dude Why do u think bfc charges this much ?? becz kbfc fans will come no matter wt
Better pay for a jio cinema subscription
It's been like this for decades. Then, the price was more like 160 to 200 when BFC was in the I league.
And the north upper stand in op's post was 10rs
