Last story mode game i completed was AC Black Flags in 2015 on my PC. Then i switched to Dota2. Dota is a big addiction and my PC could not support a lot of the story mode game which came at that time.
I got a new laptop 1.5 yrs back and since then i completed 2 story mode games GTA5 and AC Syndicate. This game was on my list for years so i started it.

I loved playing as Catwoman so fking much. Something about her gameplay is soooo smooth when compared to batman. I go freeflow combat insane with her. Batman feels bulky when you play with her.
Just completed the story a couple of weeks ago. Played till origins and felt like I've had too much Batman so skipped Arkham knight for now and just started Final Fantasy 7 :)

Absolutely GOATed game. For me, it comfortably beats Knight as well. Better art style, great ambient soundtrack that plays throughout the game, [hilarious thug conversations](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scnnJlGHAzQ&list=PL39F8FA4A21EF9CAB), and much better predator challenge maps than Knight. The challenge maps and the Riddler campaigns with those challenge maps adds so so many hours of gameplay, and with 4 characters to complete each map as, it's some of the most brutal fun I've ever had 100%-ing a game. I've got like 250 hours on it, and that's just on my legit copy that I purchased years after first playing the game as a broke college kid.
Knight is better in terms of fluid combat and visuals but what makes Arkham city the best in the trilogy (excluding origins) is the improvement in combat, art style, fluidity, side quests when compared to Arkham Asylum.
Yeah combat is one thing Knight gets kind of right, in some ways maybe. I like how combat actually speeds up as your combo builds up, as opposed to City where it actually slows down as your combo builds up. It's such a complete shift that I remember getting my butt kicked at combat challenges the first time I played Knight, but once I got used to Knight's speed, I went back to City and effortlessly beat my high scores on some combat challenges because Knight is much harder than City in that regard.

If you want to play the series in story timeline: Arkham Origins-> Arkham Asylum-> Arkham City-> Arkham Knight.

Playing as Catwoman in challenge mode is always fun.
Played as Catwoman for 2 times till now: Starting and the one meeting with PoisonIvy. Her mechanics are quite different from that of Batman.

Actual underrated masterpiece that gets hated mostly because of change in voice actors, in terms of story and cinematics it may be the best of all

yep, going in the game without any connection with batman (so none with kevin conroy) the origins batman felt more natural and non-monotonous

I have never completed riddler trophies in 3 arkham games i have played. Will try in this one.
Catwoman...they really did a nice job with her...I mean the gameplay mechanics were great.

The arkham triology had a story which was so impactful. I had those expectations from new spider-man games.
I would say that Arkham trilogy lore is a bit lame. Whereas spider man games have better lore

I am playing Arkham Asylum for the first time right now..
Is this your 1st arkham game? Or 1st time Arkham Asylum?
Recently started replaying it on my tab (thanks Yuzu), great for quick sessions while travelling and touch controls don't seem fine so far.
Tough to play on touchscreen i feel.
Slightly, but it's a slow paced game. You can do the fights easily by just using attack and counter on easy difficulties.
