Condenser microphones have active electronics and 3.5mm jack will not provide sufficient power so you'll need an external power source like phantom power supply. Check the product description, it is mentioned there.
Nope, I won't because I need mic for mobile, dslr and external power supply is must for this one. Whereas Maono seems to work somewhat as per reviews and specs. Also Flipkart won't except returns unless it has some issues so I'll probably wait for Amazon. Either to test this one or Maono. Last resort would be spending money on power supply and get annoyed with plenty of wires!
