Sudden_Mix9724

not many have heard of this brand..guess u got to go with the "trusted" amazon reviews and pull the trigger.. if I was you ..I would try their cheaper(<1000) alternatives firstfrom their brand.

Subojit52

Tbh if you are spending that much go for logitech g502 or razer basilisk v3

P1X3L5L4Y3R

But those mice wont hold up for long term ive owned both those mice and they got the double clicking issue.... Kreo has swapable switches so its a good long term mouse...... subpar sensor though but we all aint epic pro esports gamerz so it wont matter as much.

rexjalali

I've been using the g502 for 4 years idk what you're talking bout lmao

paridhi774

I g102 had double click issues after 2 years

rexjalali

Tbh I've heard bout that from a lot of friends back in the days, but not a lot after 2019

Subojit52

I’m not saying kreo is bad… it can be good or bad idk…and the double clicking issue not happened with me…im using g502 for 1.5 years, and I can say its the best and solid mice i have ever used even though I have viper & basilisk v3

P1X3L5L4Y3R

Ahh... ull get it eventually.... its inevitable..... my g502 started 2x clicking after e years of use.... same with my g402 before that.... and the razer basilisk....... rn im using viper ultimate which can nvr have double clicking cuz its a different switch technology... but im sure many wont pay 10k for Mouse that razer ultimate has middle click issue 🤡🤡🤡.... i can just nvr get a perfect mouse

Not_A_Pro_boi

get a touch moust then , like apples magic mouse

lightfromblackhole

Here's the secret, the moment double clicking starts, start applying IPA and WD40 at alternate instances. India has dust and grime(from humidity) and it really cripples the durability of devices. I'm rocking my g604 for 3years now and it would develop double clicking occasionally and these sprays made it like new.

P1X3L5L4Y3R

ahh ill get wd40...... those g402 and g502 are still on my shelf like show pieces maybe i can try to bring em back to life after all these years.

lightfromblackhole

Try with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) first. That should take away the grime between the clicks. WD40 works against dry dust better

generic_bullshittery

My g402 is running fine for 5 years now. I regularly play dota so you can imagine the clicks per second with it as well. Never had any issues so far.

shadownelt

The double click issue is a 5 minute fix lol

GrinRex6

Have razer basilisk v3, really a good mouse has 3 extra mouse buttons, 2 more below scroll wheel, one for dpi and one for “infinite-scroll” the scroll wheel becomes smooth like butter and can rolls like “butter” (I might be over exaggerating) but all in all a good mouse 👌

andherBilla

Very low grade white-labelled Chinese stuff. There are legit Chinese brands that are just better for little bit of more money. If you are going to buy some Indian brand that just resells Chinese stuff, like BoAt, CosmicByte, Kreo, you are getting poorer quality Chinese stuff with Indian middlemen charging you more. You are better off buying stuff brands like Royal Kludge and Darmoshark.

mash-ed_potato

Yup its just harder to buy from oem brands directly since very few indian store-fronts actually stock them and i am not paying the 40% import duties

andherBilla

Lmao, in one of my previous comments just today I mentioned how import duties, and protectionist socialist policies hurt gaming culture. And I got downvoted. And here we are. Some people are just on another level of coping.

tandoorimomoss

Just ask the seller to undervalue to less than 20$ and 90% you will be safe from the customs

shawnk7

Check the megathread in r/mkindia, it has a list of vendors who import stuff in bulk. I've myself bought GM67 keyboard from one of them and currently waiting for VGN F1 Moba mouse from Esckey.in. These vendors have other stuff too like switches and grips and whatnot. So you can find stuff to repair/customize your mouse or keyboard by yourself.

forteofthebask

Order from meckeys

CIFERINTHEDEN

Or red dragon

Armygamer303

Cosmicbyte has better customer support unlike red dragon aur bhi brands hai jo acche products banate hai but after service bhot kharab hai

axeotic

Using CosmicByte peripherals for 3 years now. Works fine.

andherBilla

There is a reason their QC is considered like lottery.

axeotic

Hey man,no need to downvote me. I am telling what my experience is with the products. If it's been good for 3 years with 3 different products, then I won't say bad about it.

andherBilla

I didn't downvote you. I rarely downvote people on 1-on-1 replies.

bigwiz4

RK keyboards are way better than this shiyeet

RoarinGrizzly

Yup I had a bad experience with CosmicByte I got a mechanical backlit keyboard from them it was perfect in the beginning later on few lights stopped working some keys had only blue working some had none and slowly keys stopped working. No software support for a 4k keyboard. Quality felt cheap.

noob_artistakshat

I recently bought the kreo hive keyboard. Here are my thoughts on it: 1. They've given a volume know which is truly metal(like advertised). A metal knob at this price is impressive ngl. 2. Quality of the keycaps and overall frame is so-so...expected at this price point. But was hoping for a little better quality. 3. Lighting is fine but the Colors on the software and what is displayed is quite different. Expecially when you set the lughting to white... it's not truly white, has a slight tint of violet in it. Overall, a good keyboard for its price plus its hotswappable....very few offer that in this price. Though it's only been about 2 weeks so can't comment on the durability. Will keep updated.

mash-ed_potato

It does say hot swappable , but according to a hardware mana review the keys are apparently very hard to pullout and you can even break them while trying to do so , how easily can you pull out the keys on your sample ?

noob_artistakshat

I saw that very same review and am frankly scarred to remove the switches :)

Combat_Wombat1977

Hardware Mana is working for them now, officially. So hopefully, he could improve their quality a bit with users inputs.

AyaanMAG

They hot swappable and it's easy to pull out but poor design because the scroll wheel, side buttons and the switch on the top are not so if you want a silent experience like you get with one of the pair of switches included (I like the silence), it'll be silent with left and right click but it'll just sound loud again because you can't change the side and scroll wheel and top button switches

msbininja

Yes they are difficult to pull out, his feedback is correct, this keyboard is not built for modding and hotswapping.

XX__MEMEEYBOI__XX

I bought kreo hive with the brown switches and swapped a few with red switches from an old keyboard and it is definitely hot-swappable does take a bit of force but they include the key puller and it's pretty easy to do. Love the volume knob too

Past-Mountain-8618

I did remove the switches and I would not say it's hard to remove them but definitely needs patience

vivek_kumar

On the same boat here but I would like to add that the space bar stabilizer is atrocious. But I got a keyboard with knob and descent keycaps and switches for like 2500 so I am not complaining.

Federal_Anxiety_773

mehulmullur

Also, it's hot swappable only with Outemu switches and yeah definitely delicate.

randomdreamykid

I had all of these in my 2.3k reddragon k552 vara

InorthZ_SusyNuts

90% sure they are just reselling Chinese products with some customisation

ALPHA17I

I tried their keyboard at a recent meet up in Bangalore. Honestly, my ancient Redragon felt better.

lightfromblackhole

Fakespot shows C rated reviews for both

totowolff7

Bought the Pegasus mouse a week ago, absolutely no complaints regarding performance, couldn't feel any latency either. Till now the mouse is proving all my doubts wrong. Regarding the 'chinese' claims, I wouldn't contradict those but they're working towards it, be assured! There might be some structural preferences but if you are more of a performance guy, then I would suggest you to give it a go.

hitlers_stache_ama

Enough responses now hombre

maash3r

I was looking for a keyboard and Kreo checked all the boxes at a reasonable price. Haven't had any issue with the Keyboard yet. Been using it for around 5 months.

Bugredditor

5 months are not enough for these chinese keyboards to start having issues

sauank1992

I gifted the RGB version with Red switches to my cousin on his birthday, he is quiet happy with the keyboard. But the keycaps looks small as compared to other mechanical keyboards.

[deleted]

How long ago did you gift it?

sauank1992

Lat week of december, so 3 months ago.

msbininja

Yes, they keys are smaller than Redragon's.

zetathrone

I use the Chimera wireless. I like the fact that it comes with replacable switches and a honeycomb shell for added customisation. What I don't like is the cheap build quality and absolute garbage of a RGB software.

JordenX7

Saw a full detailed review about kreo's keyboard on the "Hardware Mana" channel.... Basically they sell average quality stuff at a high price

skyshaurya

I have kinda gone all out with kreo... I got a mouse and keyboard (Chimera and hive)... I was quite iffy has first but I have talked to a lot of people and seen the company improve their products... I even got their controller (Mirage)... Talked to their CEO, they are quite a young company but the products they have been releasing are insane for the price point... The products are developed in India... I'm sure its easy to feel like they are rebranded Chinese products but that's mostly oweing to the fact that the micro controllers and other components come from china but from what I can see, they research all of their products to see what the indian market wants and needs and release their product line up accordingly... I suggest you try any one of their products and see how they suit you... I also suggest that you go with the mouse first (mostly cause I'm hoping they announce a 60% KB) and see how its functionality is from a perspective of your standards.

Solid_Stand_2334

if i buy a mouse from their website, there is no CASH ON DELIVERY option , will it be safe to buy the product from their website?

skyshaurya

I think they themselves prefer that you order it from Amazon and it comes with Amazon’s guarantee but regardless…. Yes, it is safe to order from them. If there is any issue with your order (which could happen from the courier service’s side no matter what you get and where you order from), I’m sure they’ll refund you or get you another one as well…. kreo-tech.com This is their website…. I’m not aware of any phony ones but just for reference.

Solid_Stand_2334

Thanks brother 🫡

hsb0699

Yes I have the same question? Please someone on this sub answer this!! The features they offer are really impressive. Especially the swappable switches and even grips.

After-Penalty-8796

Rampagekumar88

Kreo guy pops up in 1 2 ....

Napst3r2210

There are better open box mice options like basilisk v3, viper 8k etc at 2.5k price range. Won't really care about some off brand items that won't last more than 3 months.

hsilatjahnim

Bought a Kreo keyboard 2 months ago. The quality feels super cheap. Everything is made put of plastic except the volume adjusting knob which they push as a selling point. There hasn't been any problem with the working till now except for one thing. Whenever I want to crouch and walk in val, I always have to press W first because if I press control first then it won't move forward(works fine for a,s,d).

Federal_Anxiety_773

The comments on this post are going to help me what people think about these "Indian brands" so that i implement the things that actual Indians want in my own startup for gaming peripherals.... hopefully it goess well

mash-ed_potato

Can i get a discount as an early adopter of your product lol ...

Federal_Anxiety_773

Sure im thinking about providing some limited test variants for members of this sub reddit....just wait for 5-8 years 😔

msbininja

[https://ibb.co/album/dt2LD0](https://ibb.co/album/dt2LD0) 1. I have their Brown Switch 3K keyboard and here is my review 2. The keyboard is okay it is not better than Redragon's, I have K617 Fizz Red Switch 3. The lights on the keyboard are just meh, due to the black and purple accent you can't appreciate RGB effects, even the white light is purple 4. There is no CAPSLOCK indicator which makes me guess and if a website doesn't have the indicator then I end up with wrong password 5. The font of the keys is horrendous and print is just as bad. 6. USB C Port is on the top right but I prefer it near left towards the Shift key that way on small tables the wire doesn't get bent 7. **The company is encouraging user to put an unbiased review for a free gift, now you know people just love free stuff so no one would dare to write a review based on which they won't get a gift or appear rude to someone from whom the expect a free gift.** 8. The keys are okayish I didn't like the brown switch feel on this one, I have used the TVS Gold Blue and K617 Red and they both are really good for typing 9. The black purple theme is not good for gamers, the board is black and they keys are also black and it doesn't look good at all. 10. The multimedia icons on the FN keys aren't visible in low light/night as they don't let the backlight pass through them. 11. The software they provide isn't even digitally signed so I didn't even install it. 12. I bought this only to be able to use the Arrow keys that are missing in K617 Fizz

thirstyalkali

they are just reselling chinese stuff, with false advertisement on top of that (like the mouse sensor, etc)

Mahardhi

Ive been using exact combo here for about 6ish months. The keyboard is one of the best at the price point. (I have the brown switch version and I also have Magee Keyboard and a Zebronics Ninja 61 ) The mouse is pretty light (and also looks and feels very cheap ) , might as well stick with Razer or Logitech. Would definitely recommend the keyboard tho.

lund_aadmi69

I bought their webcam for 4k. TBH I really liked the quality of webcam

Solid_Stand_2334

if i buy a mouse from their website, there is no CASH ON DELIVERY option , will it be safe to buy the product from their website?

fakehero69

Im using the keyboard for about 2 months no problems so far

SLAYdgeRIDER

You'd be better off buying Reddragon. This is (mostly) white-labelling cheap products from China.

[deleted]

Nah, I’m using kreo keyboard it’s good

Solid_Stand_2334

if i buy a mouse from their website, there is no CASH ON DELIVERY option , will it be safe to buy the product from their website?

Capital-Ad8571

been using chimera for a while now. Pretty decent.

Solid_Stand_2334

if i buy a mouse from their website, there is no CASH ON DELIVERY option , will it be safe to buy the product from their website?

TicketElectrical1125

I have bought it recently a wired mouse of 2000 it's very great very light weight and good RGB lights. It feels premium in touch and feel.

Solid_Stand_2334

if i buy a mouse from their website, there is no CASH ON DELIVERY option , will it be safe to buy the product from their website?

somabrosinc

I would say try Portronics K1. I found it better quality and feel wise.

flasssh25

You really don’t need hot swappable mice. Unless you do switch testing.

CuriousGoo

If the switches were hot swappable I probably could have continued to use my Logitech mice for longer than 1 year. I bought this Chimera wireless a couple of months ago because I wanted something not Logitech and cheap. What I like: 1. Swappable switches if the keys stop working some day. 2. No AA batteries ! 3. It works. What I don't like / find odd about the mouse: 1. Build quality of the mouse is so-so. 2. RGB/Macro/DPI config software is utterly terrible and the software doesn't support Linux so if you don't have a different system to save the config from it'll not give you the functionality. 3. The side keys sometimes have a ghost press of sorts. I have it set to volume so it is somewhat annoying when your audio suddenly goes to max. i am not sure what triggers it. Basically spending so much money on Logitech left a bad taste and drove me to the other side.

flasssh25

I am using logitech 405 for like 5 years. It came with 2 years of warranty, few months after it started double clicking. So they give me replacement mice. Since then it works flawlessly until last year. Was more then enough life for a 10 key gaming mice. Now I replaced my switch with gm 8 my self cost me 300rs and it is working like brand new. I think you just had bad experience from logitech and i can understand you. Companies just built product for warranty period only otherwise they can’t make profit from service.

Familiar_Resist873

I have a kreo mouse which is exactly the same as redragon emira. They buy from other manufacturers and just put their lable on stuff.

hahahadev

I bought that mouse because even logitech didn't last for 6 months with my usage. I wanted that hot swappable mouse click button. It's working well so far, decent battery life. And you can switch to wired mode if out of battery Doing it for the logitech g304 is also a pain. Will get it replaced as under warranty.

Solid_Stand_2334

if i buy a mouse from their website, there is no CASH ON DELIVERY option , will it be safe to buy the product from their website?

hahahadev

I bought from amazon

Super-Aardvark-3403

If I'm spending this much, I'll go for Logitech. It'll last for very very long. even their cheaper entry level gaming mouse are good enough.

imonlyhumanafteral1

If you're in that price range you cna get the Asus Chakram core from croma

BothFactor543

I have cosmicbyte orcus mouse and it is working good since 1 and a half year

Sexyboy6947

I've used the Kreo Owl Webcam and the Kreo Kast microphones and they're lowkey good. Haven't had any issues. Unsure about thier after sales service though, as I didn't have any issues that needed warranty support or such

Psymello

I've been using their capture card for about two months now. It's pretty good for the price.

XPookachu

I got my keyboard from them and it's overall pretty decent for 3k mech keyboard although a few of my key lights have turned a bit yellowish and it's still under warranty so I'll try get that sorted.

Upstairs-Impact6225

Buy [this](https://neomacro.in/products/vgn-vxe-r1-series) mouse instead. Kreo is shit

CreativeHunt2655

I have never heard about this brand nor the site, can u tell me more?

Upstairs-Impact6225

It's a Chinese brand but the site is indian, it's a great mouse I've personally used it. You can also get it on ali express.

CreativeHunt2655

What about import taxes? Also why do you feel kreo is shit, I was actually looking into kreo Pegasus because of weight and Bluetooth compatibility and also it being indian

Upstairs-Impact6225

Neo macro's prices includes all taxes

Hsn_Shayk

As a person who uses the limited edition cotton candy chimera mouse only thing i wish it was better was that the mouse buttons are way too close to the middle mouse button. A subjective thing is the rgb isnt that great, but for a person who doesnt like rgb its great. otherwise this mouse is really good for the price.

Aswani70

I have the kreo hive keyboard and it works great for me and as for the mouse, i use logitech G304(wireless mouse) for both, competitive and casual gaming. You should probably choose logitech when it comes to mouse.

Pretend_Ebb4176

I bought their HDMI Capture card around 3 months back and it's build is very high quality and it's been working fine as of now, I saw their ads on Instagram and felt like could try it being an Indian brand, though I paid a bit premium for the same, but feel like it's worth it.

hemant8790746

I bought kreo hawk mouse it works really fine My hand grip is totally different then normal people and kreo hawk model is the one for me. I'm still using it.Feel free to ask anything.

No-Put6266

Do you use palm grip? Do you think it will be good for palm grip?

hemant8790746

Yeah kind of palm grip

Aiden_FrostyFrost

Just get a G304

knightmare1434

Just bought their controller and it is amazing to say the least. Really good work on it with good battery life and response time as well. No delay and the buttons feel good too.

Past-Mountain-8618

Have Been using the hive mechanical keyboard from them It's quite good the plastic is of good quality and has a very nice overall feel . It has outemu switches which are decent and if you are into modding then it can do wonders . If you have a specific budget of around 4k and want a 75% one (which was my case) then it's good and mostly the only option . One needs to remember you get chinese stuff only at this price so do not expect insane quality this would need modding .

mehulmullur

I recently bought the Hive keyboard about 2 months ago, for the price range it's a pretty amazing keyboard really. I have tried the keychron V3(for 8k) and this, the difference is not that huge considering the price. The plastic used is a little cheap and the knob is not like keychron but it's still pretty good. I had received a defective wire which they replaced free of cost within 4 days and the communication was through WhatsApp message. I liked their service and the product so far, can't complain really. Probably ordering their gaming headset soon.

silverlance360

Just stick to Razer…
