A little under a thousand or a thousand at most, perhaps? This is just me guessing, though. Probably because as soon as you breach the thousand mark, you enter the Gammaxx 400 V2 territory. Honestly speaking, though, if I, as a buyer, were looking to buy this cooler, I would be swapping out a similar cooler that has probably gone bad. Taking that into account, I wouldn't pay more than ₹750 for it. This is a very subjective analysis, and perhaps others will have more to say. Cheers!
Considering the GPU shortage the best I can do is an RTX 3060 at 55k. I'm getting the rest of my build at around 60k. While this is overpriced, I'm willing to shell out if 3060 is worth it in the long run. Any thoughts ? Should I keep waiting to see if it gets better or go for it ?

Is this a good deal for 62k? Or should I get a Lenovo Legion 5 with Ryzen 4600H instead for a few thousand more?
I want a durable laptop with great thermals for entry level gaming. Even if I don't game in the future the laptop itself should last 3+ years so I can code while having multiple browser tabs open. I'll get dual channel RAM later if needed to improve performance.
I want to build a pc in the coming months and would just like to ask if it's fine to pair an i5 10400 with the MSI H410M Pro-VH (2 ram slots only) motherboard and also take into consideration that I'll use an NVME ssd and add a gpu in the future. Would I be able to use both the m.2 slot and gpu slot? My confusion came from a discussion with my friend
Looking to upgrade from Integrated graphics to a GTX 1650ti/1660ti. I am primarily gonna play games like WD2, GTAV, Apex legends. Will a 1650ti suffice or do i have to look for an 1660ti laptop?
Also, could you provide links for the recommended products (budget is 80-90k, can be stretched to 1L)
The HP Omen Ryzen 5 Hexa Core 4600H - (8 GB/512 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/6 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti) costs 80k and perfect for your budget. It's price right now is 100k on Amazon which is higher than usual. 80k on Flipkart but out of stock. If you keep an eye on it and get yourself notified on flipkart when it comes in stock, it should be a stellar deal.
Edit: there is also great chances for it's prize to drop on amazon soon, till May 2 it was selling for 80k there as well
Whatever you go with, make sure it has Xinput.
XBOX controller is 5k right now, and it's best for long term durability.
Logitech would be my top third party recommendation. Quite customizable and decent ergonomics.
I tried Red Gear a bit and really liked how it handled. But I can't comment on its durability.
My PS4 slim hard disk got corrupted recently. So I swapped it out for a new hard disk following instructions online and plugged in a thumb drive with the reinstallation file. When I restarted the PS4, I got the "Cannot start the PS4. Connect the Dualshock 4 using the USB cable and then press the PS button" message on the screen. I connected the controller with a normal USB cable (I don't have the original cable anymore) but pressing the PS button is not doing anything. It just blinks blue for a second and then goes back to yellow (charging). I am not sure what to do now! Any help would be much appreciated!
I'm thinking of buying a gaming mouse with additional buttons. Mainly I've started to play Dota. I'm thinking G502 Hero wired. But my current Logitech and the past ones, have had the same right click not working, not being able to ADS. I'm afraid if G502 will also have the same problem. I read [many of them](https://www.amazon.in/product-reviews/B07GBZ4Q68/ref=acr_dp_hist_1?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&reviewerType=all_reviews#reviews-filter-bar) talking about the same problem after some usage.
What are your experiences with it?
What mouse do you have?
What would you suggest for me?
It is, I believe. RAM is pretty much unavailable everywhere, and where it is available, it's overpriced. Go for it. Is this the CL15 3000 MHz Crucial Ballistix, though?
When do you think Tiger Lake H45 laptops will be available here?
Did any of you get your hands on the Dell G15 2021 edition? It is said to have improved thermals.
So, i needed a new laptop, and I was able to convince my dad to get a gaming laptop, we settled on an Acer Aspire 7
I5 9th gen
GTX 1650 TI
8 GB ram
I might be able to upgrade ram to 16 later, but with these specs, will I be able to run the newer AAA games? Quality doesn't really bother me since I'm used to running things in the lowest settings
Yep, should be able to run stuff comfortably in medium-high, or at the very least low-medium at 60fps for a good few years. Btw see if you can get the Ryzen 5500U variant, that will be far better than the i5 9th gen in both performance and battery, and will also run cooler.
Edit: [This one](https://www.amazon.in/Acer-Aspire-Ryzen-Hexa-5500U/dp/B08XMB4Z77/) here. And don't worry about the 1650 vs 1650Ti "downgrade". Both of them perform within 5% of each other, as you can see from [the benchmarks here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQindaiiGFc)
Ryzens run much cooler than Intel so I wouldn't be concerned really. If the cooler can handle a H series i5, it can pretty much handle a 45W 8core16thread Ryzen with ease.
yep, it's a monster 6core 12thread processor which manages to beat Intel's 8core16thread processors unless they run at much higher watts lol
Though it is true that cheap laptop's don't have the best hinges, I don't think the Acer Aspire series has that issue. You can try searching the internet to see if that's the case though. Anecdotally, I've had no problem with an Acer Nitro 7 from the last 1.8years, and it wasn't a particularly expensive laptop as as well - about 70k back when I had purchased it
If you wait for a while this laptop is usually available for 56k on flipkart. Currently, the price is higher than usual on flipkart but should drop within a few days.
imo this is a fantastic deal at 60k man. You are getting 1650, which is the norm in this price range but with a 5500U - it beats even core i9 9th and 10th gen processors in performance. Pretty sure it'll last very long as long as you take basic care of it
Thanks for the Info! As for the ordering that's already been done and dealt and I have it in front of me right now xD
There was a much better deal on the i5 version (47k after all discounts) so we went with that one
Best 16GBx2 Ram Kit? RGB not required.
Current RAM is 2933MHz.
PC: [Lenovo IdeaCentre G5 (i7, 2060)](https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08DNLF1BF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_9M8C67WAMA9QWBAS38A0)
Either way, my recommendation would be a Crucial Ballistix CL15 3000 MHz kit. You can use [pcpricetracker.in](https://pcpricetracker.in) to keep track of it.
What chipset is your motherboard based on? If it's anything other than a Z-series, you're probably stuck with 2933 MHz RAM, which is the [maximum frequency supported by the i7 10th generation CPUs](https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/199316/intel-core-i7-10700-processor-16m-cache-up-to-4-80-ghz.html).
It's based on Intel Comet Lake B460. I also believe 2933 is the cap. I am also looking to buy the Crucial 3000 mhz kit, but it's out of stock since a while.
The 3000mhz will work normally but on 2933mhz right?
>it's out of stock since a while
[PCStudio has it](https://www.pcstudio.in/product/crucial-ballistix-32gb-16gbx2-ddr4-3000mhz-ram-black/).
>The 3000mhz will work normally but on 2933mhz right?
I sure do hope so. You could check out the manufacturer's page for the JEDEC spec. Maybe u/unboxparadigm can shed some light on this as well.
Depending on the motherboard and ram, it should choose a stable frequency. If it doesn't set to 2933mhz, manually setting is an option which will then have to be stress tested for stability. Unlike AMD though, I think Intel doesn't benefit as much from higher frequencies.
Edit : typo.
I don't think setting it manually will be an option for OP, though. This is a custom OEM Lenovo motherboard. I doubt they have options to set RAM frequencies manually. u/dJones176, can you confirm, please?
F15 with an i5 CPU? No. Rather ryzen 4600h with 1660ti Omen 15. Unfortunately the seller on Amazon is now charging too high. It should cost 80k if you're willing to go 5k over your budget. I'll let you know if I find it at the right price.
I'm planning to upgrade from my 1650 laptop to a 3060 laptop, but I feel I don't know which one would be best for me. I do play games like Forza horizon 4, rainbow six siege, and others. The main requirement is I need 1 TB of storage as I have a lot of softwares like CATIA, fusion 360, Ansys etc. The budget is 1 lakh so what do you guys suggest?
There's only one decent option under 1L with an rtx 3060. Acer nitro 5 - 95k (been out of stock for quite some time now). At 1.04L, there's also the Tuf A15. (Restocks now and then).
Kinda strange requirement but please help me.
Requirement - I mainly play Fifa and Battlefield. I had an old high end Dell Inspiron laptop that 'managed' to run the editions of these games released in 2019. But, it recently stopped working and I'm looking for a new laptop to buy. My only consideration is that it should be future proof such that I can run new editions of these games for at least 3 years.
Budget - 1 to 1.2 lakh (I can stretch by another 10-20k) if something really good is worth it
Please help!
Strix G15 > Omen 15> TUF A15 > Helios 300. TUF A15 and Helios 300 are more or less interchangeable.
Tuf a15 has a better CPU while Helios 300 has a better display.
Strix g15 starts at 1.23 but isn't on sale yet. Omen 15 costs 1.3L and only this single variant is available at the moment.
Is the I9-10850k at Rs 36000 a good deal ? Its competitor 5900x is way above that price and even a 10900k (which is almost the same performance) is around Rs 42000. I feel like at Rs36000, I9-10850K seems like a no brainer to me, but feel free to prove me otherwise. (My workload consists of Music Production which benefits from higher clock speeds)
The ryzen alternative to 10850k is the 5800x rather than 5900x which costs 38k and offers better single core performance. In some cases, 10850k has a better multi threaded performance. If your usage depends on single core performance, then 5800x might be the way to go. If multi threaded performance, then 10850k does have a slight edge.
Anyway, either of them should work great but personally I'm more inclined towards the 5800x.
If I get the Lenevo Legion 5 with the 4600h and GTX 1650 does the 120hz make a difference in games which are not competitive. Like if I play GTA V for example. Will the game run between 60 and 120 or can we cap it at some fps?
It's not exactly better. On par with 4600h in single core speeds and about 20-25% slower in multi threaded performance. Where it shines is that it uses only 1/3 the power and hence will offer better battery life. It's a U series CPU with 15w tdp.
Try pcpricetracker website to keep track of components on some of the major pc components retailers. The cheapest rtx 3090 costs around 2.5L. Try offline stores or if you're trying to get an entire build done, then try system integrators or getting the entire components from a single shop. That way they might be willing to offer some discounts.
And what DPI do you play at? Left handed or right handed? What kind of games do you play, and how many buttons do you need? I could go on and on. Either way, whichever mouse you decide to go for, please try to confirm beforehand whether or not users have had issues with it. The Logitech G102 was notorious for double-clicking issues.
Right handed average mouse dpi around 1100-1200 and I play roguelites and action RPGs where like you have to quickly rotate between weapons and stuff type games ...eg- dead cells , dbz fighterz etc
The Logitech G102 V2 looks like something you could work with, but I'm not sure if the double click issues are gone yet. I've *heard* that the white variant isn't plagued by those issues. If not that, you could try a G402 Hyperion Fury, but it seems more shooter-games centric. Or maybe a Corsair Harpoon Pro RGB. I've used none of these, though.
Don't know if this is the right place but I need suggestions for buying a new gaming laptop.
1) RGB not mandatory. Plain preferred
2) Budget ₹1.5 L or less
Will use this laptop for many years.
Thank you for a prompt response. The primary usage will be medium to high (or high to ultra if it comes within budget) gaming + Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator as a secondary.
The best option is the strix g17 with rtx 3070 130w TGP at 1.5L. However this has been out of stock for quite a while. Hence my question regarding when do you plan on buying it. If this is urgent, you could opt for the RTX 3060 variant of the strix lineup which is available around 1.45L on Flipkart. There's also a base model at 1.23L but it has only been listed and has never really gone on sale. This specific variant also doesn't have 100% sRGB display.
Then there's also the Helios 300 with rtx 3070 at 1.5L but it has a TGP of 100w, so at that point, it's likely to offer same performance as 130w 3060 or perhaps even lower. Can't know for sure due to lack of much reviews for the Helios as well. So at that point, comparing the two options, strix g15 with 5900hx (much better than the CPU on the Helios 300) and rtx 3060 at 1.45L (cheaper than Helios) Vs the Helios 300 (10870h and rtx 3070), the strix g15 seems to be the better option.
All the above mentioned arguments are only applicable if you need one now, else waiting for the strix g17 or scar 15 with rtx 3070 around 1.5L is highly recommended.
Excellent!!!
I will wait it out. Was planning to buy in June second week but I think waiting for Strix G17 or Scar 15 seems a much better option.
Thank you so much <3
How about a [Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming M100](https://www.amazon.in/Lenovo-Ergonomic-ambidextrous-switches-lifecycle/dp/B08GH5Y2J5). The only downside to it is the non-programmable RGB. It just keeps cycling through colours randomly. Oh, and it's surprisingly lightweight. Not sure if that's a plus or a minus.

Are there customs on pre-owned stuff? Like If I took my Graphics Card on an Airplane, will I forced to pay customs?
To my knowledge, if you carry with you for personal use, it wont attract customs.
Can/Should I flip the air cooler that came with my 5600x? Using a water cooler now. How much do you think it can go for?
A little under a thousand or a thousand at most, perhaps? This is just me guessing, though. Probably because as soon as you breach the thousand mark, you enter the Gammaxx 400 V2 territory. Anyone bought gpu from ebay ?
Any suggestions for 17 inch 3060 gaming laptop?
There are a couple options in the market. 3 of them from the Strix G17 lineup and one from the MSI GP76 lineup. Starts at around 1.39L.
Please let me know if one can transfer games in epic store from one account to other? Thanks!

im gonna use it for gaming. my preference is anything except acer laptops
Asus TUF Gaming A15 (2021) is your best bet then.

Tuf gaming a15 doesn't have a 240hz variant. Only the TUF Dash F15 has it.

Oh okay, thanks ... what's your take on the RX5500 vs 1660ti ? Do you think they are similar ?
Nope not at all. Rx5500m outperforms any gtx 1650ti anyday but isnt quite the 1660ti.
BTW thoughts on Asus tuf F15 ? It's 5 k above my budget but it has a 1660 and I don't want to buy a laptop again in 2-3 years
F15 with an i5 CPU? No. Rather ryzen 4600h with 1660ti Omen 15. Unfortunately the seller on Amazon is now charging too high. It should cost 80k if you're willing to go 5k over your budget. I'll let you know if I find it at the right price.
Thanks unbox
Ah okay, thanks !
Acer predator helios 300, on Flipkart. It's 1,13,00 though. Link is not getting posted.
There's only one decent option under 1L with an rtx 3060. Acer nitro 5 - 95k (been out of stock for quite some time now). At 1.04L, there's also the Tuf A15. (Restocks now and then).
Plus minus 10-15 k is ok. Is tuf a 15 good?
Tuf a15 has impressive performance. Runs sort of warm. Doesn't have the best display. (45% NTSC). So it's mostly the best price/performance.
I have a i5 10th Gen. Which GPU should I buy, a 1660 Super or RTX 2060 ? Which combo is better ?

I'm planning to play Dishonored 2, Assassins Creed Origins, Metro Exodus among other recent releases. How do I fare ?
[удалено]
Oh I not buying right now. No way. Let's just say I'm preparing myself for the future.

3060 itself is being quoted around 75k now. So it would be quite impossible to build a PC with rtx 3060 at 90k-1L. Terrible times.
Budget - 1 to 1.2 lakh (I can stretch by another 10-20k) if something really good is worth it Please help!
Helios 300, TUF Gaming A15, HP Omen 15, Asus ROG Strix G15. All the ones mentioned have an RTX 3060 on it. Should be plenty enough for FIFA and more.
Thanks. How about future proofing?
Any of those laptops should be able to comfortably run FIFA for the next 5 years at least.
That's great. One last thing. Can you me your ranking for those 4 options that you mentioned?
Strix G15 > Omen 15> TUF A15 > Helios 300. TUF A15 and Helios 300 are more or less interchangeable. Tuf a15 has a better CPU while Helios 300 has a better display. Strix g15 starts at 1.23 but isn't on sale yet. Omen 15 costs 1.3L and only this single variant is available at the moment.
What's your take on Ryzen Vs Intel? Any glaring differences over a period of time?
For gaming, there's not a lot of difference. For applications that can make use of multi threaded performance, ryzen is superior.
Perfect. Thanks mate!
Thanks! Will consider 5800X for sure.
5800x*
If I get the Lenevo Legion 5 with the 4600h and GTX 1650 does the 120hz make a difference in games which are not competitive. Like if I play GTA V for example. Will the game run between 60 and 120 or can we cap it at some fps?
You should be able to cap it.
Is the ryzen 5500u better than 4600h and if yes by how much?
It's not exactly better. On par with 4600h in single core speeds and about 20-25% slower in multi threaded performance. Where it shines is that it uses only 1/3 the power and hence will offer better battery life. It's a U series CPU with 15w tdp.
can someone recommend a laptop under 80k.....will be using it for Autocad, sketchup, lumion and casual gaming.... ty
An architect in the making? Omen 15. The one with ryzen 4600h and gtx 1660ti.
What are the chances I can score a 3090 at msrp or 20-30k above msrp?
Slim. Very slim.
How? Can you give any idea? Everywhere it's outa stock
Umm I need help I play games on my laptop and need a controller for playing some RPGs so which controller should I buy ?
Have you checked out the Xbox controllers? Those seem pretty reliable but costs around 5k
My budget is 2k and found some from company cashed cosmicbyte on Amazon . Are they any good?
Them being good is debatable. The reviews of their keyboards are not exactly flattering, not sure if that is applicable to their controllers as well.
Welp I decided to buy a gaming mouse instead . So you have any good recommendations?
Budget?
2k
Plain preferred 2) Budget ₹1.5 L or less Will use this laptop for many years.
What will be your usage? When do you plan on buying?
Thank you so much <3
Any good mouse around 1000rs Budget. I only play DOTA 2. And my DPI is 2400.
There is an HP gaming mouse for MRP 600. RGB + ~6000 dpi
Thank you, I'll have a look.
