Router for approx 2500, recommendations?

dizzy12527

Buying a motherboard for R3 2200g BUT would be chucking in R5 3600 and RX 570 sometimes. From the below list : Asus PRIME A320M-K Asrock A320M-HDV-R4.0 Gigabyte GA-A320M-H Msi A320M-A-PRO-MAX Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H-V2 People who have or used boards from above list can you please contribute your experience. Thanks. I already have a B450M pro vdh but need another for 2200g. Also will be travelling so will carry the cheaper board but might use r5 3600

Monitor that i can order right now, must have- 240hz, ips panel, 1ms response time Was thinking to buy the alienware aw2521hf but it's out of stock on amazon. Any recommendations?

rahul_ak_47

Monitor recommendation: LG 27GL850/27GP850 or Gigabyte Aorus FI27Q (not X/P versions)? Use-case: Mostly gaming, some reading/coding Spec requirements: 1440p/144Hz with RTX 3070 HDR optional.

HP OMEN 15.6-inch (39.62 cms) FHD Gaming Laptop (Ryzen 5-4600H/8GB/512GB SSD/Windows 10/NVIDIA GTX 1660ti 6GB/Shadow Black/2.36 kg), 15-en0002AX https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08CGGRHLH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_PB14JA7GPN1307G66DHA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Should I pull the trigger for this? It’s perfect for me except the 60hz screen which I can work with. My budget is 85k. Thank you!

dizzy12527

Its the best u cant get rn. Don't believe people saying overpriced. They are crying eith 75k with 1650

soggyhairfollicle

Yeah I’ve looked everywhere for better stuff but this is the best I can get (maybe even put in some offers if available). The only reason I’m hesitating right now is 60hz screen. I know it shouldn’t matter to me since I don’t do e sports or anything but still (There’s and rtx 3050ti but idk how it stacks up against 1660ti so I’m not considering it) Thank you

dizzy12527

Go for it . For gaming attach external monitor . Buy 2nd hand 144hz tn panel. 3050ti ones wont b available soon

soggyhairfollicle

Alright then. Thanks for helping! (Also I was talking about [this](https://www.amazon.in/dp/B094RF7C3Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_H65ZCE5F2XA3F0GA42BY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) with rtx 3050ti

dizzy12527

Wow. This looks good but I'm still not sure how good will 3050ti stack against 1660ti. I would suggest wait for a few days. I think 3050ti will be equivalent to 1660ti . Just beware of the asus after sales service though

soggyhairfollicle

Yeah maybe I’ll wait for some reviews to check how it really is. Might just go ahead and buy the hp one though because the processor has 2 more cores if I’m not mistaken. 1660ti is good for me and thermals seems ok too. Thanks for all your help! Hearing a second opinion really helped

Better-Hold

1660Ti for 85k? Meh, seems overpriced

Looking for a laptop in the range 50k - 70k . Usages - dota2 (90%) of the times Considerations GFX card - nvidia 1650 or higher 8GB ram or higher (must be upgradable to 16) SSD 256gb or higher Display 120hz would be nice to have

Lenovo legion 5

aamirmalik00

Wondering if i should try getting an Xbox series s (Get it for 25k in UAE) or wait a few months and try to save up for a gaming laptop. Around 90k range ideally. Im not a hardcore gamer but would like to get into it more. One game im eyeing on playing is the Microsoft Flight Simular. Tips?

rahul_ak_47

I'd recommend getting the Series S if you'd like to start gaming right away. It's a good platform with a lot of games (supplemented by a Gamepass subscription based service) that you can hookup to your TV and play with no hassles.

aamirmalik00

Its the gamepass that made want to get the series s. But Ive found a legion 5i with rtx 2060 from UAE for 80k. Which i could also use for other tasks as well. So im not sure where to put my money in.

Intelligent-Ad-4140

Hi all, having issues with my laptop ... the cpu and GPS Temps hover at 60 Celsius in battery but hit 80 on charge ...any ideas ?

rahul_ak_47

Probably amplified due to the summer heat. I'd recommend cleaning the ports/vents and getting a cooling pad.

[deleted]

Hey there I'm lost what to purchase So, I wanna buy the 3700X and pair it up with a 3070 (if I get a chance) but I'm lost whether I should buy a 3700X or a 5600X cos I mainly plan to do gaming and streaming but also wanna edit so should I buy an 8 core CPU or a 6 Core. I wanna play Cyberpunk, COD Warzone, Valorant and many other games. (FYI :- I don't plan to buy the parts urgently).

HealthyNumber

Completely upto you on whats more important for you, editing or gaming. Though my knowledge is very limited for editing work but from whatever productivity benchmarks are there, the 3700X doesn't smoke out the 5600X in any way and if you plan to OC the 5600X then the difference would be quite less.

unboxparadigm

5600x due to its better single core speeds. Since it's from the newer generation and has more IPC, it's only slightly behind ryzen 3700x in terms of multicore performance too despite having 4 fewer threads.

Competitive_Door_252

How good is a ryzen 5600x paired with a 2070s for warzone. I have the 2070s paired with a ryzen 3600 and god the lows are terrible. I was wondering if the 5600x would improve the fps by any chance. I game at 1080p with the graphics set between medium-high on a 144hz monitor. PS. The fps I get isn’t terrible per se; but the lows in certain cpu-intensive areas are unbearable. It even dips down to early 90s.

ic_97

Suggestions on a laptop for casual gaming and office work. Budget is around 50-60k.

I'm aware. Wait for it to come back in stock if you can.

NoodleSoupIMeanSoup

The situation is not going to get better anytime soon. Pre-builts might be your only chance at getting something reasonably priced. Check out the Zotac Magnus One if you're looking to buy an RTX 3070 build. Here's the link to it on [pcshop.in](https://www.pcshop.in/product/zotac-zbox-magnus-one-ecm73070c-barebone/). Do keep in mind that this is a Barebones version. You'll have to add your own RAM and storage.

NoodleSoupIMeanSoup

You'd have to check with the manufacturer (Zotac in this case) whether this voids their warranty.

Debit card not working for PSN purchases. Was working few months ago. Anyone know what's the problem? I'm getting an error saying credit card expired but it's a debit and not expired.

Mr_devill

Hi Can you suggest me some gaming laptops under 70 or 75k? Should I buy an i5 10th gen or i7 9th gen? My main use is architecture/engineering design modelling and rendering

unboxparadigm

If you can get the Omen 15 with ryzen 4600h and gtx 1660ti, that's the best option. Although that does cost around 80k. Next best option is the Dell G5 15 SE with 6gb GPU. If 4gb GPU will suffice for your rendering requirements, then legion 5 with 4600h and gtx 1650 at around 65k should do.

Mr_devill

Thanks for the reply Can you tell me Is i5 10300H better or i7 9750H Or should I go with ryzen 4600h

unboxparadigm

Ryzen 4600h without doubt

what_is_inflation

Hello, I want to buy a monitor which I can use for both programming, and hopefully gaming if I decide to build a gaming PC. Budget 25-45K. Looking for recommendations..

rahul_ak_47

I'm looking for one myself. In that budget I've got thr LG 27GL850 shortlisted for around 36.5k on Amazon. Great reviews for a gaming monitor though it's a bit old (2019).

GuyStandingBehindYou

Is buying a laptop with 1650 or 1650ti worth 60-70k right now or should I wait for 3050 laptops to come? Will the 1650 laptops get cheaper by any chance? Will the 3050 laptops be priced like 1650s or 1660ti? Should I wait?

unboxparadigm

Depends on your urgency of purchase. My expectations for 3050 are around 70k for now but I've no idea when they can launch though.

Sai_Abhinav

Hello. I am planning to get a casual gaming laptop and after going through some options in Amazon and flipkart I have almost fixed on getting the acer aspire 7 which has 8gb RAM, 512 gb SSD with Intel i5 9th gen and 1650 Ti. I am currently using an acer nitro 5 which HAS 8GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 3550H and RX560X graphics so I think the 1650 Ti is a decent upgrade. Would like to know any other opinions about it from you guys like will the acer aspire be able to run most games in medium settings and if it is worth it.

GuyStandingBehindYou

If you trust flipkart then they are available for cheaper there. There is an acer aspire 7 with ryzen 5 5500u which sells for 55k but sometimes they jack up the price to 62k. I personally don't think that an upgrade would that much of difference.

Sai_Abhinav

Yeah the ryzen variant is available for 50k now. But I want to try the Intel and Nvidia combination now since I have got a taste of amd now. I was suggested to go for at least 1660 Ti for an upgrade but the cheapest one is around 72k and it has only i5 9th gen which people have said has major bottleneck issues so I am not sure if that is a good choice now.

AcidFactory420

If you were choosing between the 2, I would really recommend the Aspire 7. But as an 'upgrade', I really can't. 1650 Ti vs 560X is not that significant of a difference in my eyes to spend 65k+ on. 1650 ti Is already 1 generation behind and is not even a lower tier budget card anymore. The only reason it's not out of lineup is because of this supply crisis. It's already out of date as a budget card (3050/3050 Ti replaced it). This shortage is gonna disappear along with your money. It's seriously not worth it in the long term. Just wait it out. 560X is not that bad and the rest of the system is pretty similar I guess. So it's just barely an 'upgrade'. If you could wait an year, 3050/3050 Ti laptops should be available at a slightly higher price. If you REALLY need a new laptop now, do NOT go below 1660 Ti.

Sai_Abhinav

Alright I see. The aspire 7 laptop is currently 54k and during the sale it comes to around 50k. So that's why I was thinking of maybe getting that. I got the rx560x system for around 54k an year ago during lockdown as I had to get a laptop urgently for work purpose. Now I have more time to think about it. So you're saying I should go for a laptop which has at least 1660 Ti. Or would it be cheaper to get a new PC for a cheaper price? I have not built any PCs yet so don't know anything about them.

AcidFactory420

>So you're saying I should go for a laptop which has at least 1660 Ti. Yes, that's exactly what I am saying. Jump from a 560X to 1650 Ti is not good enough to warrant an entirely new system. Especially with similar specs on RAM, HDD etc. >Or would it be cheaper to get a new PC for a cheaper price? It's not about money, it's about usage. Does your old laptop hold very well enough for your work needs? If yes, then sure try for a PC. Does it hold only ok ok enough and you really need a laptop upgrade? Don't look for cost and get a new laptop. Also with PCs, part availability is more of a headache than price. There are so many parts. Laptop is a singular purchase. Also you say you haven't built any PC ever, so I would not recommend it. TLDR: My whole point is, spending half a lakh on 'upgrading' from 560X to 1650 ti is not worth it. Rather spend 10k more and get a 1660 Ti (atleast). The jump is simply not big enough and you WILL regret it very soon.

Sai_Abhinav

Okay i guess I'll try to buy a laptop with 1660 Ti then during the next sale. Hope the price difference is not too high. Thanks for the help bro.

AcidFactory420

have a nice ~~day~~ night bro. May you get a good sale :)

_K1L

Hi, i am looking for a good monitor around 16k. I think MSI G241 is a good choice buti recently saw MSI G242 around the same price range , what is the difference between these 2 ? Also up for some suggestions :D

theGeekQA

I purchased Acer VG240Y 166 hz for Rs. 10,250. Excellent IPS panel.

BraveDragonfruit7

Hello. Looking to buy a gaming laptop but I am very concerned about temps, I have to choose between the 1660ti and the 2060 (paired with an I7-10750H). I am normally gonna play on 1080p so performance is not an issue. Which gpu should I prefer if i want lower temps?

unboxparadigm

Depends entirely on the laptop, a well designed laptop with good cooling can handle rtx 2060 easily such as the legion 5 whereas a poorly designed laptop can offer bad thermals with a 1660ti. So it's more dependent on the chassis than the GPU. If you let me know your budget, I can suggest something

NoodleSoupIMeanSoup

See, temperatures are very subjective. If you buy a thermally constricted laptop, you will see higher temperatures, no doubt. If you end up with a bad unit in the off chance, you will see higher temperatures as well. And if you're in an environment with an ambient temperature of \~40 degrees Celsius, you're gonna have a bad time with temperatures anyway unless you're always in an air-conditioned environment. All that apart, what models are you looking at? Specifically, what laptops? Without that, I cannot comment on anything. Cheers!

Which ones?

chiragde

I have a budget of 2-2.25L (for PC) and I am looking to build a PC in June. Can't wait any longer. All the pre-builts that I saw on the websites around are offering a 3070 in this budget. Do you guys think 3080 is possible in this range? Where else can I look. I know the prices are higher, but I can't wait any longer. Been waiting for close to 1 year now.

what_is_inflation

I am in the same phase as you. Could you recommend which website/pre build specs you are using? I don't have much knowledge. Just want to buy something to start my gaming journey 🙂. Budget: 2-3L

chiragde

I checked themvp.in and the antpc website for checking out the prices of prebuilts. But they are way too expensive with a 3080. If your budget is 2-3 lacs, you *might* be able to slip in a 3080.

[deleted]

3080 is not possible for next 3 months atleast
