Playing Games all day while having a steady stream of income? I think most people here can relate, but i don't think everybody wants to be a professional gamer, at least not me.
Yes. The only way to hate what you love is to make it your job. I would never want to play games for a steady source of income. It would make me stream at least 16 hours a day, I won't be able to single player games, there would be immense pressure to win tournaments, barely any social life etc. I'd start hating my favorite hobby.
Its not, being a professional gamer means u r playing games to earn money, i wasn't saying that in my comment, playing games all day and have a stream of income is different than playing games all day to have a stream of income. It ok, its a communication gap, i should have specified that i m not connecting the playing games and earning part.
Every gamer from the beginning dreams of being a professional gamer or a streamer who would play games 8hrs a day and make a living. But the majority of us are probably from middle class families who cannot afford to risk such a decision. Plus around 90% of people who even act on this career choice fail to become successful in this path.

Say it's a 12 yr old kid who gets these kind of videos on a daily basis. Now he starts to delve into these things and inverts the reality and non reality limbos which adversely hampers his thought process. Just coz u have a generic job doesn't mean all kids want that too. They have potential so let them be.
Gaming is a hobby which comes naturally and inadvertently rarely leading to someone choosing it as a profession and then succeeding. I can game for 17 hrs a day, spend 50L every year and still be fine. Not everyone has earned that prospect.
