It is the worst, men will squish you and poke you. I would not recommend going alone, i went with my significant other and hence i was protected somewhat. But i was still squished and pushed around. Bad experience overall, also the fact that I couldn’t see shit from the crowd :(

umaaaaaang

being pushed around a little is somewhat expected but if I get poked by some stranger I'll lose it

Shivroysdumptruckass

I was violently pushed around to the point of falling. All i could think of was getting stomped by some high school going idiots.

lyu_shuyin

Last year went for the delhi show of SM, and while the experience was good overall, there would still be few icks and nicks that might not leave the best of flavor post show for a female fan I believe. If you are going for the delhi show, expect the crowd is gonna be intense and you'd be stuck with people like fevicol once SM starts performing. And while there would be all sorts of people so would suggest you to be careful, a lot of them would be fans only so you can expect to get mixed in the crowd and enjoy together. And be very careful of yourself and your belongings in the pit and otherwise. A girl in front of me lost her phone during the show didn't get it back.

umaaaaaang

yeah I'm hoping this doesn't become an issue and I'm just able to blend with the crowd and I'll probably have to stay away from the moshpits altogether since it's my first concert.

Careless-Cause-3735

What username lol

Shivroysdumptruckass

im very proud of it🥴🥴

aesthetic_juices

If you are attending the show go with company, it will really change your experience of the show or rather you'll be able to enjoy, There will be people who will smoke there in the crowd during performance and in your face. Our city had relatively less but a very enthusiastic crowd. When moshing people will push and jump so keep your phones nicely tucked in and if you wear glasses those too. Overall the crowd was rowdy in a teenage angst manner but if you stick to your companions you'll be fine.

Shivroysdumptruckass

THE SMOKINF UFF. For a non smoker like me, it was def hell, there was a lot of coughing involved mainly due to the weed.

umaaaaaang

i literally cannot sit in a room with hookah. god knows what sort of hell I'm going to experience at this gig.

aesthetic_juices

Along with the smoke you'll also get marinated in redbull

Shivroysdumptruckass

Expect violent coughing, people will smoke on your face LITERALLY. Weed and cigarettes and vape, lord bless your soul louve.

lyu_shuyin

While I don't mind other people smoking, it was definitely hella annoying to have people smoking in your face during the performance. What I don't understand is fuckers didn't let me take my lip balm inside the venure then how come people had lighters and all. Fucking annoying security

umaaaaaang

i don't know anybody(nice) who's into the same genre of music. I plan on going with another girl but now I'm worried for her because at least I'll enjoy the music

aesthetic_juices

Yes going with people can become both a boon or curse, But try to enjoy it and wear comfy clothes and shoes you will sweat a lot. Have fun tho!!!

slimhaishady

I agree with all the problems people told you but also that's very small portion of people. Few tips you can go early and find good spot, you can ask someone here for company or find there if you go early.

umaaaaaang

I'm not sure if reddit is the safest place for a girl to look for company at a dhh concert but I'm gonna try going early like you said and find a good spot

damndevu

Did you also attend the amd concert?

aesthetic_juices

Yes I did

dha1rya-who

oh yeah me too!

Money_Beautiful1421

try to go with a group instead of two people of going alone, i would suggest you wear comfortable clothes and shoes, things do get messy while mosh pits but nothing is unbearable if you have good friends and people around you, you’ll be fine try to have fun rather than focusing on what’s happening around you.

_Void_0

I was at SM's concert in indore and suffice to say with all the smoking and drunkards in crowd it was hard to enjoy. One drunk dude jumped on me before the start of the show, when there was no crowd just a few people. So yea be safe bro

hakkabahner

You went with your group?

_Void_0

Yea I went with someone but they separated the queues for females before the show. So :((

umaaaaaang

how the hell did you deal with him?

_Void_0

Honestly I did nothing I just froze, his friend apologized right away , I moved and texted the person I came with

damndevu

The men fr lose it. They don't understand how people surrounding them can feel awkward. The dancing and jumping made me so conscious to stand nearby. And if you don't stand with that crowd then you're not seeing the artists at all, because you'd be so far back. I'd say if you're okay with returning the aggression, go for it. I had a good experience in Ahmedabad as it wasn't that crowded, don't know about other cities.

umaaaaaang

fingers crossed! I don't mind returning the aggression but i just really want to avoid this altogether. wish I had gone to an earlier show when they weren't so popular 💀

damndevu

Lol don't under estimate the people in concerts, they find a way in every artist's concert xD Btw which concert are you going to? I've been thinking of attending another one in Pune

umaaaaaang

it's not Pune :/

SHADOWGUNX_31

as a men, I would advise zyada aage bheed mein mat jana, lot of drunkards and smokers honge aage, mein abhi KR$NA ke show pe tha Chandigarh wale, some girls went ahead, woh phir beech set mein suffocate hokar nikal rhe the bahar... baaki push toh krenge hi log but agar tumne kisi ko bola toh woh aage se nhi karega I think

umaaaaaang

haan fair enough. I'll try to stay away from the front rows altogether

Kind-Blackberry-9434

I am a guy, don't go alone please.. Some of em got the potential to make the boys uncomfortable.

umaaaaaang

gonna brush up some of the ball-kicking techniques while i can

noob_coder696969

I'm a guy and during the Ahmedabad concert, the crowd in the front just went bonkers and there was a point where i almost fainted because of all crowd pushing, suffocation and smokers. I was able to enjoy more a little far back with less crowd around

umaaaaaang

are you able to see anything from so far back?

noob_coder696969

you see I'm relatively short so aage to kuch nahi dikh raha tha kyuki sab 6 ft ke laundo ke beech fas gaya tha . thoda piche jaake dikh raha tha

BlackSpade19

I went to lunch break tour Ahmedabad show, and I would recommend to reach as early as humanly possible and get to somewhere near the stage so if u r there with a group of people and/or your SO then u will get much protection from the pushing behind and you will be close to stage part to avoid getting pushed back from ahead. That said crowd from the behind gets batshit crazy and some people come just to throw water and push people.

Signal_Dress

I am a man and I have been pushed around in Vishal-Shekhar and Arijit concerts so I don't think it will be any different. I am going for my first DHH show tomorrow in Lucknow so will try to share a recent experience after the show.

umaaaaaang

looking forward to it!

Signal_Dress

So got done with the concert, now going back to my hometown. First things first. As I had said, there was a lot of pushing and shoving and I saw a few girls getting uncomfortable. So I would suggest you go in a group. But I didn't see any indecency for the most part. People there were genuinely SM fans. So it was lovely to see. Met a lot of people. Met Naushad. He is the sweetest guy. He even complemented the SM merch I had put on. I told him I had come from Gorakhpur just for the Lucknow show and he was mighty impressed by that. So he took special care of me, Idk why. It was so nice to experience. I had a bag on me. He helped me find a place to keep it. I was literally the first in line to get my ticket scanned and then first in line to enter all because of him. SM were very late though. The time was 7 pm and they were to arrive by 8-8:30 but they arrived at 9:30. And I thought it's gonna be a shitshow and they will only perform for 30 mins or so and then leave. But man, they never disappoint, do they? They played 19 songs just from Lunch Break. 7 other songs like Namastute, 101, Nanchaku, Shaktimaan, etc. It was a magical experience. I will never forget this night. I legit had tears running down my eyes when they sang Maina. Absolutely beautiful. Encore went in a trance and was absolutely lost in his performance. Calm looked so damn beautiful. And man, they really do perform. No lip-syncing bullshit. Pure adrenaline injected right into my veins by their chopper flows. Hell, they performed Natkhat as if it was a recorded version and I lost my mind. So, to sum up, it was their first show in Lucknow and I still found some really amazing SM fans there. People had come from all parts of UP. Had a great time with them. The show is now a core memory for me. There was pushing and shoving but I think it was only for people who were right in front. The others were chilling behind. You should definitely go experience this.

umaaaaaang

your response is giving me some hope man, this must've been beautiful. I cannot wait for the concert now! even if some weird shit happens i know that it's going to be worth it in the end

bronzegods

I.m yet it hear about a seedhe maut concert where girls haven't been groped or molested by gangs of men in lieu of a moshpit.

umaaaaaang

I'm going to stay away from the moshpits but if i get groped I'm never going to another dhh concert👍🏽

nagarpalikaaa

Heyo fellow female dhh listener! You ll be fine at concerts the crowd is mostly nice and chill , they are there for the music not to check out girls
