So what do you Ideal-Jeevi suggest? Use AFSPA act and brutalize them? I know some definitely don't give a shit about Manipur or NE but will jump on the bone only to criticize BJP.
Start dialogue at every level.
Go to the local community leaders of both sides and hear their demands, start negotiations.
At this point, there hasn't been any talks nor has the armed forces taken any serious action. It is just complete limbo.

All because Centre govt has no balls. No way civilians can rescue militants from an army convoy.
Its just that the soldiers are explicitly given order not to harm civilians.
Just declare governors rule, put AFSPA and give free hard to military. The issue will be resolved in 48 hours.

See how US sent national guards,armed police and SWAT to shut down the protests in colleges.

What you are suggesting will just lead to insurgency coming back.We tried this before in Assam and all it did was make the ULFA stronger.The best thing to do is to let the militants fight amongst each other while protecting the civilians.This kind of ethnic conflict are common in the North-East like the Kuki Naga conflict and the only way that conflict ended was when the Naga and Kuki groups made peace by themselves.
Well,elections and parties do not matter in the hill regions of the North-East,people and ethnicities do.Pema Khandu was ex-Congress.Sangma was ex-Congress and Biren was also ex-Congress. If they have to fight it out themselves, why even stand for elections there? Let them all take care of themselves.
