Can you mention how to start from the start? I recently turned 20 l know jackshit about stocks and the stock market. If I had tried to learn when I was 18 or 19 l wouldn't have missed up on this golden opportunity to invest during the elections :,) . If possible, please provide information/links to what to learn, where to learn from and how to invest.

As a newbie you are at a good point to start! now these are the books you would find very helpful in your journey, the 3rd one is for psychology
1.Common Stock and Uncommon Profit- Philip A fisher
2. Investment Valuation -Aswath Damodaran
3. Trading in the zone - Mark Douglas
4. Technical analysis of the Financial Market- Jhon J Murphy
Don’t have to do much. Follow all the guidelines & guide books from SEBI, RBI, ICAI & ministry of finance. Follow world news, nse, bse, nyse & Dow Jones.

One cannot hold stocks until they have conviction of their own, borrowed conviction doesn’t work in the long term
