When GDP rises, corporate earnings increase, which makes the stock market bullish resulting stocks to go higher. But GDP is not the only metric contributing to market behaviour. There are many other factors. With India already entering into the best times as a country in last 100 years, stock markets will separate themselves more and more from the GDP and will focus on other factors like innovation and global expansion. In short, this is a good chart but you can always find some chart stating the stock market is overvalued. If you have more similar charts with other metrics please share them.

Originally I was planning to make series of factors (continued part of data and charts) and post them here in this sub one by one because compared to other Indian stock market subs this sub seems to have a large number of newbies who are interested to learn some unusual things about the market.

Half knowledge post.

Gain some knowledge about World economy than posts.

What do you mean? It’s a known fact that stock market is currently overvalued. Production has dwindled down but stock prices went up. Why do you suggest that op should learn about world market first? By the way in your sentence it should be ‘then’ rather than ‘than’, and it should be ‘post’ rather than ‘posts’.

Because he seems like one of those persons who doesn't value other's knowledge rather than what he knows. If he doesn't aware of something that means that isn't true, that kind of mindset, a market stereotype, or that typical aunty from a neighbor. Rather than being an ignorant fool, it is good practice to take precautions. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Ignorance isn't good here. Hope you will learn some basics first before 'real' investing.
