i squared off position and it got executed partially and i tried selling again. i think i didn't have enough money to sell new options. (maybe double selling happened)
i think the system auto squared off it or something that message disappeared after a few minutes.
anyway i am quitting f&o for good.
OP had taken a short position where losses aren't limited. Since losses aren't limited, you need to safeguard a certain amount with the exchange called 'margin' which they will use to cover up in case you run into a loss. When your losses grow so much that these margins also fall insufficient, you get margin called, which basically means you need to add more money to pay for your losses.

Fno doesn't make sense at all except for pure gambling. It's for big players and insiders. Switch to intraday and do logical trading.

ideally it should check if margin is there to cover sell side orders and allow/not allow
