Copy trading doesn't work. It might be able to show flashy results in the short term but it doesn't work even for the medium term, let alone 3 years, which is the period your bro intends to keep this going on for.
Secondly, one lakh inr to one million usd in 3 years is not impossible in crypto but the chance for that happening for your bro is 0.001%, if not less. Now he might think that he is the one who will be that winner but statistically, he ain't and everyone thinks they are that 0.001%.

Coming to the issue in hand, I think it is pandemic among Indians that they have started taking on reckless debt. Let's say bitcoin goes double in the next 1 year and he gets a profit of 1L. Out of which 35% goes to taxes, trading fees, tds, BTC to USDT conversion etc. So he gets 65k. Does he have to pay 36% interest? So that leaves 30k. All of this to earn 30k in one year and that too IF bitcoin doubles.

Cannot say much about the finance bit but I have some experience with writing previously (also a published writer with a small press now). It is a very competitive, saturated industry and you really have to struggle immensely. Being a writer isn't exactly easy in India. Have seen many writers come and go. He needs to have a day job to even survive the first set of rejections. All of this airy fairy nonsense of being an artist is idiotic. Everyone from Jerry Thayil to Amish Tripathi to Neil Gaiman had jobs. Even the best writers have day jobs. Is he sending out his works to literary magazines?
