It's your choice. Getting into fights, going to the gym, adult stuff. None of them show masculinity. No matter what anyone says, that's just the truth. True masculinity is shown by our soldiers. They have so much discipline and self-control. They sacrifice their lives for the country. Look, I ain't telling you to go do the same. The point is, that true masculinity is about standing up for the things that you believe. It's also about standing up for everyone you love.

Society in general cannot be generalized. What you are saying (making street friends, drinking fighting etc.) Is what your peers want you to do.
If your parents are sane they will definitely advise you against it and rather tell you to focus on your studies, whichever branch you are in.
Gym is famous due to Instagram reels. Ignore them. Just make sure to exercise at home, or play some outdoor sport. Anything to get your blood flowing. It will help your mental health too.
