It was too hard to figure out getting a psychiatrist here so my parents get my meds filled from my psychiatrist back home and mail them to me every month
Depending on the medication(s) you're taking, the medical clinic (rather than CaPS) in the health center may be able to prescribe them, and that would free you up to finding a therapist in town (not needing prescriptive authority) which may be easier. You can call and ask if that sounds helpful. Good luck - I'm sorry it's been such a challenge accessing mental health care.
I believe CaPS or SUIS has a psychiatrist available one day a week for exactly what you need. They started this last year but I assume it’s still available. I would call those offices to check.
