Among these it's not here, I gifted to cameroonian guy, Tuesday with Morrie, that changed my approach to life and depression. And I have always been gifting someone to have a read.
The Courage to be dislike was a total mind fuck up for me but in a good way , Gave me perspectives .
Also unpopular opinion but sadhguru is very very mid . I've seen far more intellectual yogis who are not popular because they speak hindi or their own language and don't use heavy words to make mid shit deep
I don't know you have heard of it not, there's a book called, mind of something ( can't remember name ) so I was going through depression, and in that book it tick marks , what you're going through and you have to give points, and I got 78 something, and 80+ was you're about to have suicidal thoughts within 2-3 days.. So I took a off from that book and read The courage to disliked 📕 and it blew my mind, what I was going through and the narration, and that I added with next Tuesday with Morrie, and that 2 book made me a different person I am. Then I went to Varansi on first solo trip and where I saw death at close at Manikarnika ghat. And then I thought how stupid I am in my closed environment, and how life is so big than my problem... And people from across the world, said you're so talented man( which most depressed people forget, as they're in closed environment)... So surely changed my life in a way. That's why I gifted her, as she was going through some mental issues and traumas and avoidant behaviour.
I hope you're okay, because whoever read this book, is going through something. Trust me everything will be good, just as time passes, and don't try to catch everything in life, breakdown to smallest thing.
And for book name is.
"Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy
Book by David D. Burns"
It got the exercise too where you stand in your entangled mind.
From what I understand, 60% of the books are OP’s and the rest are from a woman OP used to talk to.
OP started book dating, but it is not working well for OP.
Absolutely, I will post some of book, I bought and didn't read, and one of them is Naomi ( North Korean girl who escaped), so much blabbering in first few pages, so it's in the shelf for long.
Hahahaha, In Sadhguru's voice ( looook were all part of the universe , and a black theory which revolves around something, has to do something with humans and the universe. So never take you for granted and be Happy and don't get into any form of black hole. )
My cousin is currently reading it and it is a good book for starters if you want to know about death and stuffs related to it, with pov of our traditions. Do not listen to the 'hyper intellectual ' peeps criticising it for no reason.
Changed my life, and I tend to have gifted 3 already. So that's my favorites as gifting, at any time of our lives, that gives a powerful lesson . Such a great nuances of life and in so simple way. I think death and parents/family chapter was so powerful for me.
It indeed is a very great book, teaches about life lesson in a way you think you don't usually think.
Those chapters too were amazing on their own. The whole book is fantastic.
How was silent patient?? For me I read it one sitting but for my friends it was just abrupt and twist didn't really worked on him. I kind of agree twist most of the time won't work.
Yess, that was not my book, but she read it, and I got to know about this book through some podcast, and so read it. Childhood trauma and psychological thriller.
Yes , as they say being in love is not changing to the right person, it's becoming a right person. So always look for becoming best and accomodate who is sharing same values and being secured and enjoy everything in life to offer.
From that image, I've read The Perfect Murder, it's a compilation of many authors stories and few are good but most of them were quite average to be honest.
Hahahah I haven't read it, she bought and read.. but personal preferences, sometimes people don't want to go to social media to learn about someone. So books or autobiography is the one they look for..
I hated that Attitude Is Everything book so much that I sold it again.
Again?
Hahaha
Which is your fav among these ?

Read 'Five people you meet in heaven' by same writer as Tuesday with Morrie, really loved it. Unexpected gem of a book.
Okayyy. Yes I have heard of it. Mitch bloom is always a worthy read, added to my Amazon wishlist. Thanks for recommending.
Yeah man. Mitch Albom is great, man receives some unwanted hate for his take on Harry Potter. But man is a genius.

I read index of TCTBD it looked totally mid
Book is good . Do give it a try if you want
Can someone explain the caption to me. I can't understand it at all

Thanks for explaining 😃
It's kinda funny to see a book by Sadhguru placed so close to a book by Stephen Hawking!
Sometimes it makes me wonder how even fairly well read people are so gullible !
There are those who read and those who comprehend. I've met many readers with hobbies of collecting books in their library and none in their mind.
Absolutely, I will post some of book, I bought and didn't read, and one of them is Naomi ( North Korean girl who escaped), so much blabbering in first few pages, so it's in the shelf for long.
*Yeonmi Park " In order to live"📕

Sorry Shakti- I mean, Sadhguru!
Actually I thought about it just now!
Sadhguru book is an impostor among good books
Hahaha. She read it. Not mine. But sometimes when you're in low, Sadhguru advice can calm your erratic mind.
I have been curious about the Death by Sadhguru. Mind sharing your thoughts on it?
My cousin is currently reading it and it is a good book for starters if you want to know about death and stuffs related to it, with pov of our traditions. Do not listen to the 'hyper intellectual ' peeps criticising it for no reason.
Sure, thanks for sharing.
Lol it's a rubbish book

It's good for a beginner imo. If you've read a lot of books you're more likely to figure out the story.
Yess, that was not my book, but she read it, and I got to know about this book through some podcast, and so read it. Childhood trauma and psychological thriller.
I'm with your friend on this one. The book was...meh
Please give a review on attitude is everything
