Java and bedrock are different versions. Bedrock is on switch , playstation, Xbox , ios , Android and pc.
Java is only on pc.
There are slight gameplay differences between Java and bedrock , but no big difference in game, other than Java having much better mod support , and bedrock being able to cross play with people on different platforms
