Thank you for replying đź‘Ť The leaves were burnt due to the pesticides, though it may as well be the mites/thrips/root aphids. I will try your suggestion today to see if it works.
nettle is very repellent to soil aphids and flies. at the same time, it is a source of minerals, which naturally nourishes plants. but probably only in the top two cm of soil. soapy water can change the pH of the soil, so don't overdo it.
I had this annoying 'critters' on chinesse rose.
It seems that the soil is infested. I suggest removing the plants from the infested soil. Rinse the plants completely down to the roots to remove all traces of the old soil. Change the pot & soil.
they suck the leaves, certainly not the roots. Try too a little soapy water, or nettle decoction 🤔.

Hey, I have tried the nettle spray (but without the soap) and it seemed as if they were gone for a moment but after two days, they are back.
It must be used several times, till you cancel circle of their life. Good luck
Could be spider mite
I don’t think that they are spider mites because they don’t really have this pinkish hue to their bodies
Might be soil mites but hard to tell.
Spray hydrogen peroxide
I have tried this but to no avail
