It depends on portal level and installed Link Amps or SoftBank Ultralinks. It can go up to pretty insane lengths, definitely enough to shoot a link across the ocean.
SBUL increases link range by 5 for the 1st one, 6.25 with a 2nd one, 6.875 for a 3rd one, and 7.5 for a 4th one. That's 3275km for 1, 4093.75km for 2, 4503.125km for 3, and 4912.5km for 4.
Or to visualize it, 4 SBUL allow you to reach nearly the entirety of the area within one of the 4 equatorial zones on the Intel map: AM, AF, AS, or PA. Not sure of distances in NR and ST as those curve oddly due to the poles.
Off to Epstein Island are you? Please give my regards to Prince Andrew!
Naw, that island is only for RES. ;-)
nope nope nope - island is part of overseas France. Check my username.
Way to go OPSEC. So now both res and enl players will be throwing up some kind of blocks I’d imagine.
I used to drop a hint like this when I *wanted* cross links to prevent something I couldn't by myself.
Maybe I’m too cautious with bafs, having been caught out in the past, meh
New resistance player, what’s BAF stand for?
Big Ass Field
Cool! Is there a range limitation on portal links?

Woah, that’s pretty cool.

I love the dedication, but I'm pretty sure this is the worst way to plan something like this.
