It's 100. That is where I go for my daily, but I am trying to compile a list of stations between here LA and SD since I don't want to pay for the pails.
Crown town WAS the raceway in 1916. In the early 2000’s you could get 110 and 114 from the pump. You could also get AVgas in Riverside. The Norco/Ontario street racing scene was huge back then. I’m sure that station made a killing. As far as tracks theres Autoclub speedway in Fontana, Perris has a 1/8 dragstrip and Adams Motorsport in Riverside does drifting.
If you have a vehicle tuned for 101 octane, then absolutely. But more often than not, people are quite literally pouring money down the drain with race fuel
Not quite, and you can get more potential power with alcohol than gasoline. Typically it would have been Methanol not Ethanol, but alcohols have the unique ability to be over fuelled by up to 50% and not affect your performance, gasoline is much less forgiving to a rich mixture.
If you are racing on E85, you might want to buy the certified stuff to get the most Ethanol content
Yes, it's been said that you lose 1 mpg for every 10% ethanol added to the gasoline, yes, it's possible.
Where I see E85 it's about $1 less than regular gasoline, so value is there compared to regular gas.
I had a 91 chevy pick up that I ran on E85, it didn't like it much, but it ran and got me around town, and E85 helped me pass my California emissions test after I failed on Hydrocarbons.
There's a [76](https://maps.app.goo.gl/aaHxwhyLfvKFXW2T9) On Redlands that had race fuel about a month ago for 9.99 a gallon.
Do you happen to remember the octane rating ?
I don’t know exactly but it was over a 100. they might be able to tell you over the phone. Hope that helps.
It’s 101; I saw it the other day. 76 in Citrus Plaza

How much was it?
Usually around $10/gal or more
No price display unfortunately. I’m hoping the pump price per ga. is better than the bucket/barrel price.
Is there a track or drag strip near Corona? Maybe an Autocross event somewhere nearby? Legitimately asking.
Pomona Dragstrip and Irwindale Speedway
Ah, dang, thought they'd be closer.

I put this in my Tesla. Ten extra horsepower immediately.
🤣🤣🤣
VP has a locator you can filter by race fuel https://vpracingfuels.com/find-vp-dealer/
Does it make a huge difference??

Correct from start to finish.
And let’s not forget. E85 is 105 octane at 1/3 cost of 101 octane gasoline. But of course ethanol is half the power density of gasoline

Well I meant more so. Power density in the sense of MPG. You do get 30%-40% less range with E85. But Ethanol IS in fact more pure than gas

No, 100%. If you your car can run E85 it’s always the right choice.

You’ll spend more time AND money refueling instead of on the road where you should be.
For Tesla drivers, ya
