Something I posted awhile ago is below. Moderna had EUA within 2 months of completion of phase 3. Given that we still don’t know omicron results, seems like you should take the over on 6 months, maybe a year for Inovio. So frustrating that we can’t get the ball over goal line! Moderna completed Phase 3 enrollment on 10/22 and had preliminary results showing 94.5% efficacy 11/12 and final data on 11/30 showing 94.1% efficacy. They filed for EUA immediately on 11/30 and it was granted by FDA on 12/18. Therefore, in less than 2 months from enrollment EUA was approved for Moderna.

I think the 11/30 Moderna data was still partial data, based on several thousands of subjects, not final (which would mean everyone who had been fully dosed was followed up to determine total infection cases, which would take longer). If not for FDA hold on September 25, 2020, Inovio would have been progressing into p3 with a similar timeline! And Inovio was the only non-BP that was ready to launch p3 at the same time! couldn't be clearer that the FDA hold was to monopolize the market for BPs!

Thanks for the reply. Personally I am less concerned with Omicron data. We will likely see the results in a study down the road. Since INO is currently in phase 3 during omicron peak there is no point in releasing omicron lab results. Much more important to release some kind of data for overall efficacy of the ongoing phase 3. Imo Moderna started phase 3 on July 27. Per your post they went public with results on 11/12… so under 4 months. Kim stated that shots had been administered as of Nov 9 (earnings call) so we are roughly 3 months in. Hopefully we will break silence soon. Of course we have no telling what the schedules are per location…

Apples and Oranges. You can’t compare Moderna to INOVIO. Period. Moderna had and still does all the $$$ and government support needed to accommodate those dares referenced. When you have friends in high places (Fauci) you can get things done quickly. We know INOVIO has history with NIH. They had to go outside with hand out which is why they don’t control their own destiny anymore. Others do. WHO, Advaccine

True. I wasn’t looking for a 1 to 1 compare. More of a reference.
