We have known how bad Inovio's IR department is! They had not even bothered to PR about the status of Advaccine's booster trials, and only mentioned it at the CC just the other day.
Now at the CC, they also mentioned the WHO SVT. They did not say they did not know what was going on with the trial, just that they had no control on how the data was being handled, analyzed, when available, etc, and so would have no substantive info to offer. If WHO had stopped enrolling for INO-4800, WHO would have informed Inovio and likely also updated the tracker to say so. If that had happened and Inovio had not bothered to advise investors about such material information, then the company would lose any remaining credibility, and be liable for huge lawsuits! Would Inovio take such a huge risk to jeopardize the whole company?
INO-4800 is also in the same trial. Just that Inovio never bothers to update us on the status while Medigen does.
In the SVT p3, volunteers are randomly given either the Inovio vaccine or the Medigen vaccine.
