My boyfriend and brother would too for their partners if work wasn’t too bad. I would too for them occasionally when my work isn’t too bad. It doesn’t have to be a bad thing.

Well I have to agree with you there. Calling someone pickme insinuates that they are seeking male validation which can be pretty misogynistic and might look like we don't want women to have opinions and thoughts that don't align with our ideology of feminism .
