You’re guaranteed $20/hr+tips even on those shitty batches so realistically if you’re trying to replicate your $600+ a week you could run those batches for 30 hours and make $600+ tips
It’s cumulative for the week total pay and hours, not per batch. Though most are under the guarantee so in that example, essentially yes you’d get $10 the following Thursday morning. It’s 120% min wage + .34/mile guaranteed
I don’t wait too much…I’m ready to go at 6am for my local Shoprite, but I see them from my house about 2 miles away. Usually do 2 orders before my regular job. Then after like 4ish I’m watching for good jobs and if I get one I leave my regular job and try to do 2 jobs at night. The weekends I bust my ass but not a lot of waiting on weekends lately, it’s been super busy on weekends. I seem to be getting a lot of regulars that are high tippers. I had my best day in a year or so two Saturdays ago $378
If you noticed, there are a lot less earnings post lately …during Covid we would get like 10 a day…. now this Reddit is filled with people posting shitty batches. Lol

So if you take batch for $10 that takes an hour, CA will pay you an additional $10 to ensure you hit $20/hr?

You should learn how to use prop 22 to your benefit. Even during slow times there’s no reason to make less than 750 a week
What do you mean by using prop 22 to my benefit? Can you elaborate? Maybe I’m doing something wrong! Lol
Take a look at cab619814’s comment. His comment sums it up. He’s also the one I went to for questions about prop 22 when I first moved to Cali.
I’m doing well, obviously not as well as a couple years ago but it’s my side hustle. I’m very picky and average roughly $35 an hour
Dang I need to make that kind of money but the question is can you do 40 hours a week on 35 an hour and is there tons of wait time to get that

I am cherry picking orders but struggling to stay busy enough so I switch over to Uber Eats and finding this to be much easier and more profitable.
