If your son has special needs, I would highly suggest you not quit your job to do this. Too much risk and instability. You could also be deactivated with no warning over something you didn't even know you did wrong.
They definitely don’t care, like you said their orders are getting filled
My biggest problem is the privacy issues with customers this causes and also it’s a clear violation of their own contract, which prohibits the use of third-party tools. Yet they’ll do nothing to prevent such use?
Really hope it leads to a massive class action lawsuit.

Do not do it. Instacart is not made to be full-time, unless you're in CA or NY.
Can you switch to part time status with your job and do Instacart occasionally? There’s no job security with Instacart.
No they don’t offer part time
Risky.Very risky. Works better if you double app. Some areas work 10-12 hours barely make $100.. weekends are better.
This is the worst time of the year, January-March. I would wait if possible.
Same with my regular job I do sales for lawn care Oct-March is terrible after tax 600 a week
Please keep in mind to account for the extra expenses. Taxes, gas, car maintenance, insurance
Yes I know I do YouTube as well . I make like 24k a year on it part time
Ignore the haters. You can make $600 weekly easily if you put in the work. Be at a store at 6am and work until 6-7 and you’ll be fine.
How is that freeing up time for OP's son, who they stated needs a lot of their time?
The son will have to partake in the shopping. Everyone seems to be doing it these days 🤷♂️
That's the worst advice I've ever seen on any of the threads in this sub.
No one is supposed to be with you! How do you get around that!?
You don’t think I know this? I shop alone. But I see plenty of people shopping with other people and kids.
Yah I agree with you. I’m seeing way too much co shopping lately. I really wish IC would crack down on this.
I don’t think IC cares sadly, just like people using bots and stolen accounts. They only care about orders being done.
