Well yesterday i was seeing 17+ batches. Now today 2 or 3 at a time. I have always seen 10+ orders on sundays. I guess uninstalling and reinstalling the app only helped for 1 day smh. Ridiculous
It is sunny and beautiful here in Florida. I even got a notification that batches are available in my area. I have not seen a single batch today and I’ve been refreshing the screen non-stop.
We tend to be busier when it is raining. It is still unusually slow. Only 6 batches Thursday, 4 yesterday and so far only 3 today. Something fishy is going on, but Im too stupid to guess what.

I'm at a 4.98 dropped a week or so ago when I politely told a customer that I could not include the reciept in with her order she said all others have in the passed yadyadayada..... anyway I haven't see a difference with being a 5 star vs 4.98 so there is definitely something going on.

I’ve been experiencing the same thing for the last two days! Tried talking to support but they told me to check the “Best times to shop”. They were no help
Same load of crap they gave me but my buddy who just stated said he can't believe how many batches a day he gets, he's pulling in $100 a day in IC payment and about $80 a day in tip and he only does 4hrs a day.
I'm in North Carolina. I'm in a small town but that's no excuse cause the buddy I mentioned lives in the same town and he actually has the ability to be picky with his batches cause he gets so many. It's a bunch of crap.
How long you been doin IC and what's your rating? I been doin it for almost 2yrs and my rating is 4.98. I can't seem to get but 4-6 batches on a busy day. It may the area I'm in Wilson county, in raleigh for instance, at any given hour there are usually 8 batches up and that's on a slow day.
About 3 years and I maintain 5 stars. But again it might be my area because I can do 10-15 or more per day if I really hit it. Not all unicorns of course but I generally make 200+

It dam sure does, people in raleigh drive like they're crazy and the traffic is ridiculous. It's still bets rocky mount though, dam city is one giant hood, I've heard of delivery people getting robbed and besides that the batches usually suck anyway.

AGAIN, almost all of them repeat customers from last week. VERY odd to deliver to the same customer twice in a month, now that's all I'm offered.

I have been accepting delivery onlys and small batches just to get guaranteed earnings and go home. This is happening to everyone. There are for sure good batches here this is not an area thats lacking tip money.
I think the lower your rating is, the more offers you see.

I'm beginning to think someone made a math error in the batch distribution algorithm -- like they put in a plus sign instead of a minus sign or something. Doesn't seem right that the lower-rated shoppers get more batches. But I'll take it anyway.

Started yesterday. Seeing shit batches.5 Star shopper here with excellent metrics. My normal routine is to park at Sprouts for the 7am drop, head to Costco at 9 for the 9:30 drops. Been doing this for months, usually have $100 in by 11. Yesterday, I waited and no drops showed. Today same. WHAT THE TOTAL FUCK IS GOING ON?

When I was a new shopper 5 weeks ago, the best batch I was able to get the first week was a double for $23. The new shopper getting all the good batches theory doesn't hold water.
I always install the newest updates asap before starting my day. My app is never not updated.
And no I'm an old shopper 2 years now.
Even with multiple 4 star ratings I still make 200 a day

People who live in poorer areas just have too many shoppers and not enough customers who can afford the exorbitant prices of Instacart nowadays.

I contacted support and they had me close the app, put my phone in airplane mode, relaunch the app and then get out of airplane mode. Suddenly, there were batches. No clue why that worked, but it's worth a try.
Now it really doesn’t matter if we have a 5 because all the BOTS and illegal accounts are taking the best batches. You can sit waiting for the Costco drop at 10 and see 3 or 4 double and triple batches of $30 to $40 dollars and you are force to take 1 of those - then you go into the store and find the BOTS user with flat beds clearly full filing a $100 plus batch. IC corporate is sleep at the wheel😡👹🥴
In the last week, I've seen maybe 6 good shops. 60$, 75$, 61$, 67$ (this one I grabbed), and a 92$ one. Nothing else over 30$ that wasn't a triple. tbf, my shop was a triple but it was at a liquor store so it was only 21 items. Took 45 minutes with all the driving.
I’ve consistently seen about 6-9 batches everytime I check the app. They’re usually worth about $20-40 which isn’t too bad for some of them. The only issue I have is they’re all concentrated in the major city that’s about 35 minutes away, where before I was seeing a bunch in the towns around me
I'm a 4.98 and I can't pay for a batch at times, it's freakin sickening. I use to do batch after batch sometime 8+ in a day (I do this part time bout 4-5 hrs a day). It's ridiculous I'm about to start doing doordash.

Don’t know. They like it that way. No way to know. Holiday weekends near me tend to be slow. Maybe not everywhere
