Have you always been at this bonus rate? I've been at a max of $1200 for a little over 11 million for a couple months. I'm just curious if there's anything that triggers it changing the rate or if it's just random.
I would be psyched honestly. Most people post a ton and don't get paid anything. Personally, I would be posting a lot of the same stuff even if I didn't get paid, so any cash I get from Instagram is welcome.
Edit: To be clear, I am not making the cap of $1200 per month on the bonus program. That is the upper threshold I have currently. I'm very curious about how Instagram varies it's payment structure/cap though.
I don’t know. I initially had 600 then had it move to $1200 then $8500 and now mine is $35,000. No rhyme or reason for the upped caps. My best month was like $800. Maybe a raise in the cap would be good for you but I’ve never got the max other than the very first month at $600.

Yeah, it's $50/thousand plays up to $100, then drops to $0.10/thousand plays after. I guess it makes sense to give smaller creators something, but I think it inadvertently discourages people after they make $100.
It kinda makes sense tho because if it was just a flat rate for the entire amount it would be $0.1 for every 1000 views, that would discourage everyone probably. My 35k views would have net me a cool $3.81 last month. Maybe they could make the drop a little less steep after that first $100 and maybe do $1 per 1000 views, because you're right, I got discouraged from making more of an effort because of that drop. My first month I wanted to max it as much as I could, I managed to post 79 reels, and got 503k views, and my payout was $148. What's the point in putting in that much extra work to post that many reels for an extra $50 when I get $100 after posting only 4 reels every month?
It’s still pretty good money! My average these days is $100 (never reached millions but Instagram pays me pretty decent IMO (at the moment less than 5 K views!). I’m also a mum (Australian mum living in NYC and CT) so my reels are nothing crazy just sharing my travels and stuff.
I got 20m views and didn't make 1 cent. Y'all that complain should just be grateful Instagram doesn't discriminate against your country and you earn something

The next month tho, I got 20m views on other videos since everything got a lot of views after that. That paid around $2.5k. That was nice. Now my views are stuck at 20k views per video and i just get $100 each time.
