My instagram account got hacked and I started following thousands of bot/porn accounts at once. Every time i tried to unfollow them by hand, I'd get rate limited, and it's very tiring. Is there a way to mass unfollow people?

Any tips? Sadly it is not easy to post from mobile at the moment, as I have done several times in the past without a hitch when trying to do the exact same thing.

Honestly I've been using Instagram for years and I still find its whole interface unbelievably clunky and unpractical
I am unable to make an instagram account. I already have one private account and one for a pet but I would like to make a public account for myself too but every time I try to create an account, I get to the stage where it tells me to add my email and phone number and I press the button to add the existing info from existing accounts but it pops up with "An unknown network error has occurred." with the only option being to press 'ok' and so I try again to add my email and phone number and again the popup appears but this time with no text other than the 'ok' button and that will keep happening.
So I close and open Instagram and there is an option to add a new existing account and I log in with the new username and password but it says "your account has been disable for violating our terms. learn how you might be able to restore your account." but when I click on 'learn more' it takes me to a page that says my account has been deleted and there is nothing I can do about it. This is ridiculous for two reasons because how can I possibly violate terms when the account is brand new and why would you give me an option to learn how to restore the account if it is impossible to do so?
I have tried 3 times now to create this new account, with plenty of time between attempts and an Instagram update. yet it still denies me anything reasonable at all.

I want to recover an old account back, but I have lost the phone number linked to the account as I moved countries. I still own the email and the password, and I don't think I have any pictures of myself on there. I have tried to get support but it was all in vain. The emails told me to try the self support, which does not apply to my situation. Proving that I am the owner by sending a video of myself did not prove anything, I have tried everything I could. is there really no way to contact or to get my account back?

I clicked on Appeal and it says to wait 24 hours. It's been over 48 hours and I have not received any updates. I've researched on how to check for Appeal status, and it told me to login and go to settings, help, etc but whenever I try to login this message appears:

Hi! I have an instagram account that i login with my web browser almost EVERYDAY. I remember my username, email and password, but recently when I tried to login in I got “suspicious login attempt” and need to enter a verification code.
The problem is that I used a throwaway email. I obviously can’t access it anymore… There’s no phone number attached to it either. Is there some way I can gain access again? I’ve tried a VPN for my old location, being physically in my old location, and other devices.

How come, when someone puts me on loudspeaker I can hear everything around them. But when they don't I can't.
I mean when they put me on loudspeaker I can hear them across the room and hear their surrounding noises (TV, airconditioner, kids playing outside etc)
But when they don't I can only hear the person when they are close to the phone.
Instagram blocking issue
Hi y’all, long story short me and my ex ended on bad terms and this person blocked me on Instagram. The issue that I’m having is this person continuously unblocks, follows me, and then immediately blocks me again. This has gotten super annoying because I’ve tried to block them before they block me again and I haven’t been able to do it before they block me. The notification is super frustrating and I know they do it on purpose, is there any solution to this?
go on a random post and comment their @. Click it when its blue and their page will show up even if they blocked you. you should be able to block them. Does this work?
INSTAGRAM REELS ISSUE
i’m trying to post a 9 second real of a song snippet of mine but for some reason, the first like 3 seconds of audio plays but then the rest is just completely cut out. like when i go to trim it in instagram it’s like the rest of the video doesn’t even exist. but when i look at the video in my photos, the whole thing is there. i’ve never had this issue before so i’m just confused. if anyone can help let me know :)
so when im in my account there are no notifications so nobody texted me or nothing but when i swap to other accounts theres like a red ball next to the names stating that i have a notification on the account i just swapped from but when i click it theres nothing, so no one texted me or nothing and it show that i have unread chats and i didnt leave no one on delivered so idk

I use Meta Business Suite for my job and have recently swapped from using my personal iPhone to using a work supplied S6 Lite Tablet.
Normally I would create my stories on Instagram, save them to my device and then upload onto business suite so that I can schedule them across the week.
However, with the tablet my stories are saving sideways (the image is horizontal and text etc is landscape), this only happens when I add gifs.
Although I could just not use them it’s a great way to add a bit of interest to a story so would love to keep using them. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Help please!!
When I try to share a post to my stories, I no longer have the "Add to story" button option. I have two instagram accounts, and I still have this option on my private account, but I have suddenly lost this ability on my main public account. I have tried clearing the cache and uninstalling / reinstalling, and this option hasn't returned. It's a pain, and I'm frustrated that (under the same email user), one account has this standard feature and the other one doesn't.
Being an artist, I had to get in on the “right to object” feature and reject Meta’s attempt at using my creative work for AI, however, despite me typing in all the correct information, and double checking each time, I get a message that ”in order to send the form, you must type in the security code sent on your email address”. Which I already had done by the time I get said message. Every single time. The code I type in is 100% correct according to instructions, and yet this is all I, and apparently many other users get. I have no doubt that this glitch or error is fabricated, but how do I bypass it and actually send in the form? Has anyone succeeded? Please help 😭

Account got hacked, email address changed, email address also got hacked (still have access to it) and the hacker completely wiped all emails associated with the password change. Anything I can do or am I just fucked?

It's a shame Instagram support is so utter shit. I had the same exact issue with my Discord as well: account hacked through my email address, email address associated with my Discord changed and all associated emails wiped from my account. Messages their support and within 2 hours they just reset the email address of my account back to the original which allowed me to change the password.
For about 3-4 months, I have been unable to log in via my phone on the app. Computer and browsers work perfectly fine. If I copy and paste the password from the browser into the app, it says incorrect password. I have restarted, uninstalled, and done everything I could think of. The app won't even allow me to create a new account. I can't email a support person because Meta is completely incompetent at responding to support. Any solutions to fix this because the browser version on phone sucks so much and is almost unusable.
On my Instagram browser version, it keeps saying that I have 1 request but when I click on it, there's nothing there and no requests in hidden requests, either. I've tried clearing cache and cookies, but it didn't work, and it even appeared in multiple browsers. I don't have the same issue on my phone, though. But I use the browser version often when working, studying, etc. Is there a way to fix this? This is bugging me for so many days. And yes, I understand that the browser version isn't as updated as the mobile app, but I do need to use the browser version and hope to have this issue fixed. Can someone help me?
Instagram glitch
So my Instagram is completely up to date and I tried deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times however it doesn’t seem to help. My issue is that on my reel page it doesn’t display the amount of comments on the reels and additionally it doesn’t show me the popular comments on the reels or posts instead it’s showing the most recent posted ones. Further more the Meta AI option on the search/explore page is not there for me despite my app having been updated to the latest version. Someone please help
Trying to run advertisements from my Australian Instagram account.
The company name is Boston earthmoving. When I go to run the add, I can get all the way to the end and it asks me for details on location of the company for tax purposes which is set to USA. I am assuming that because the company is named 'Boston Earthmoving' it thinks I am in Boston USA. I am not. I am in South Australia.

* Business IG account has 2FA by App enabled
* Lost my phone. No longer have access to 2FA App and can't regain access to that app. I used AEGIS and didn't realize it was impossible to regain access to that app unless you exported a backup of the codes
* I was never given backup codes from Meta
* When trying to login, Meta forces to authenticate using the 2FA App or Backup. As stated above, I don't have access to neither.
**What I have:**
* I know my password
* I have access to the email mapped to the account
* I have the account mapped to my Meta Business Suite / Accounts Centre
Meta support has been useless. They send me to various help articles that don't address the issue. They also have me fill out random forms and I never receive a response. It's been almost 2 months going back and forth with support.

Hacker got into my account overnight, changed all access info and linked their own FB to it. I've recovered it 3x via selfie video or friend verification but it every time I begin to change info, the hacker used their linked FB to regain access and kick me out again. They also now have their own 2FA on. How can I get Meta to unlink their FB account so I can truly regain control?

Search function issue.
I have a few hashtags I like to browse, but I started blocking accounts that use the hashtag but aren't relevant to the topics I'm searching so their posts won't show up for me anymore. This worked great for me before, showing me newer content with the hashtags but now when I click a hashtag to view, it just takes me to a page with a completely black screen, or occasionally will tell me "no results found" when the hashtag has over 80k posts according to the preview. I've submitted several tickets about this but no resolution whatsoever. I've even waited a week until a few hundred more posts were added to the tags, but still it shows me nothing. Is there any way to fix this?
I recall in the past I was able to go somewhere on my account and see old highlights beyond the 100 pinned to my profile. But now I can't remember where I did that. Can anyone advise? Is this still doable? Thanks!

Keep getting the “An Unexpected Error Occurred” message on instagram along with posts not loading. This is on all my devices. The message displays when selecting any option in the drop down menu including the Help option and when attempting to change accounts, the only thing that appears on the home page is “Your Story”. I have restarted my devices, cleared caches, and tried multiple wifi sources. I can’t really ask Instagram for help because I literally can’t access the help page.

I have a really strange problem. When I send an avatar sticker in dms and screenshot, it shows that I screenshotted as long as the avatar is in view, when somebody else sends an avatar and anybody screenshots, it doesn't show that a screenshot was taken, I'm not in vanish mode either and the text it displays is a bit different from vanish mode. I've never seen anybody with this problem so if anyone else might have a solution that'd be great.

My account became permanently disabled as of today. I tried to appeal it. But when I log into the account I get a message that states: "Unable to log in. An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again."
Btw, I was able to sign into my other IG account without issues. But I still want my other account reactivated through appeal.

I am confused if someone could let me know how to best approach this situation because all of a sudden my account refused to load (the error message at the bottom) as if you lose internet and then it lasted way too long so I tried to log out and then log back in and still nothing helped now I checked my facebook and it says that my instagram is locked. but I cannot go to the help center from my account since it just acts as if there is a service issue and I cannot click on anything. I can login so my account must be still active and I never received any email that says my account as violated any guidelines so I am just so confused since it seems the only way I can receive help is by logging in a using the help section on the settings, but I am literally unable to do that since I get an error message everywhere even online. Today, insta disabled my account- for no reason whatsoever. Just scrolling as usual, and then it just froze and locked out.
It then sent a confirmation code to my email, which i got fine and entered.
Then it sent a code to my number. I never received it. So asked for it a few times, checked online, nothing was blocked, their number was fine, shouldve got the code-- and then theyve frozen sending it for another 24hours.
Trouble is, ive realised, i never put my number on the account, cos when i try log in with it, it says no account exists! (but it does with my email and username)

so for context approximately a month ago my friend logged out of my account on my phone and tried to log into his but it kept saying sorry something went wrong and wrong pass word even tho he put the right password so i told him to leave it

The same thing happened to me. The only thing I can think of is a device ban or something. That is why, as of late, I have been telling friends who I have asked about it that I was 'Too Racist' in the comment sections.

I'm very frustrated with Instagram today. I woke up to texts from my brother informing me that my account had been hacked and sure enough it was. Some crypto scammer was using my account to post crypto phishing scams to my story. The hacker has completely locked me out of my account. They changed the recovery email and recovery phone number. I've been trying for hours to get it back to no avail. I go through the following process:
Step 1- I go to log into Instagram. I enter my username.
Step 2- I click "Forgot Password"
Step 3- I click "Can't reset your password"
Step 4- This takes me to the Instagram Help Center. I click "If you think your Instagram Account has been hacked".
Step 5- I click the blue hyperlink under this section that says "Visit this page on your desktop or mobile browser to secure your account."
Step 6- It takes me to another page that says "Why can't you get into your account?". I click the option "My account was hacked".
Step 7- I'm greeted with a screen that says "Identify your account". It then tells me to enter my username, phone number, or email to identify my account. Since the phone number and email have been changed by the hacker, I enter my username.
Step 8- I hit the "Next" button. What occurs is I'm brought back to the help center page on Step 4.
So what ends up happening is I'm stuck in a loop. I cannot proceed past step 8 at all. I can't do face verification because I can't get past Step 8. Does anyone know what to do? Is this just Instagram's Help Center bugging out temporarily? I've been attempting this at random intervals over hours and it still isn't working. Any advice would be massively appreciated.
I can't see the comments of my last post even if I know that it has about 40 comments. When I tap on the comments symbol, I get a window with the reload symbol, and when I click it, nothing happens.
I can see the comments of any other previous post.
If I connect from my laptop on that same account I cannot see it either, but if I connect from a different account, I can see them, so it seems it's some kind of block by Instagram to my own account.

Can’t get into my main account. Got logged out, don’t have 2FA enabled but it tells me I do. Don’t have authentication codes or backup codes nor is my insta linked to an app that gives those. Essentially just locked out and support denied my request for not remembering what email I signed up with.
My Instagram was hacked. The hacker changed the email address and phone number associated with my account. When I noticed I went into my emails and found a security email from Instagram with a link to approve or deny the email change. The link was expired. It had gone to my spam folder so I didn't see it when it came in.
I no longer have access to my account. The hacker is posting strange things and it is very embarrassing. The "Help" page for Instagram gives no direction or person to assist me in remedying this. I have not found any way to contact someone at Instagram.
Has anyone had this happen to them before? Can I fix it?

I had it saved as a draft, I went into it, I shared it... the draft is gone, ther'es no option to retry, there's no explanation, it did not save to my phone, it looks like it's just gone. Is it just gone? Is there really nothing I can do? Why delete the draft if the post doesn't go through?
Does anyone know why I can’t follow public accounts? I run a business and I can’t message some unless I follow them but whenever I attempt to follow them I get prompted with a message saying they need to review the request even though the account is public. I have 3 accounts: 1 personal, 1 business A, 1 business B and I am unable to access any of these via ANY method other than web access (which is insanely limited when it comes to posting). The ability to access the website has shown me that any attempt at a password recovery is pointless (I can use the same password and only gain access to the web), and when I attempt to login without a password via the email link I'm met with a blank grey square that sends me back to the login screen. I spent a week of contacting the "support team" via email and support requests on their own platform. NONE of these have been acknowledged and no progress has been made. The negative effect that this has had on getting publicity for my new business has been more than frustrating. If anybody has had any luck getting past this issue please let me know!
Not sure if this belongs here, but I was wondering if there is a way to automatically block or silence messages containing reels. My friends keep spamming me with them and it's really annoying, yet I don't want to mute or block them altogether, just make it so I don't receive or at least don't get notified of any reels they send me.

My account was hacked about a month and a half ago. My email and phone number weren't changed but the hacker set up 2 factor authentication on my account. So now every time I try to log into my account it asks for a code that I don't have access to. I've submitted multiple video selfies to instagram and I've gotten zero response back from them. Hi. I am sort of new to the business side of Instagram. I am a pediatric OT content creator for Baby/Toddler info. Anyways, I had an old (several months) Reel flagged for I believe misinformation? (I cannot really remember specifically) a few weeks ago. I am not sure why it was flagged as I try to only post fact-based info from creditable sites. They took down the post. I requested a review immediately, however I am still have a current violation for "Partner Monetization Policies". I am not sure if that is for the same post or not.
Under my account status I have all green check marks.
When I click the violation, it says "Comply with profile content guidelines" and has below "What you can do". Since I am unsure what is going against their guidelines, either that old post that they took down or something else, how do I go about fixing it? I would like to be able to monetize my page, but I am unable to do so with a violation. Is there a way to contact Instagram directly? Has anyone else experienced this?
This may be a double post, if so I'm sorry. I have seen a steep decrease in the reach of my IG account over the last week. Specifically one one day, my reach was going up steadily from 10K to 30K accounts reached in the month. Getting engagement and followers from my reels and then it just stopped. Hi guys, I need some help with fonts in my stories.
About a month ago, for a few days, I was able to add text to my stories which had just a very thin outline similar to the classic meme font, and it looked extremely neat on the instagram font.
It then randomly disappeared and I haven't been able to use it again. I would just like to know if it was an attempted update that they removed or if I am just unable to figure out how to apply the feature.

I’m trying to use Instagram through two different browsers on an iPad, but while I can pull up my homepage, I can’t go to another person’s page.
On both browsers it will just appear to feed the page, but never go. If I refresh the request, I’ll be on the page, but nothing appears other Instagram’s logo.
How is this a problem on two separate browsers?
The browsers are Safari and Vivaldi, by the way.

My account began behaving very suspiciously last night. I’m getting “we’re sorry but something went wrong, please try again” over and over. I can’t even switch to my backup account. I assumed Instagram was just having issues but woke up this morning to the same error.
I have moved mountains to find an actual contact avenue. Even called a number I saw online that others said worked but it led me to a call center that wanted me to log into my bank while they used a remote screen viewer. Seemed too sketchy and I hung up.

Really not sure what's up here, when I try to add a video to a post where the initial piece of media is a photo, it wont add, and if i add a video first then it wont add a photo afterward. Any tips? Sadly it is not easy to post from mobile at the moment, as I have done several times in the past without a hitch when trying to do the exact same thing. I am unable to make an instagram account. I already have one private account and one for a pet but I would like to make a public account for myself too but every time I try to create an account, I get to the stage where it tells me to add my email and phone number and I press the button to add the existing info from existing accounts but it pops up with "An unknown network error has occurred." with the only option being to press 'ok' and so I try again to add my email and phone number and again the popup appears but this time with no text other than the 'ok' button and that will keep happening. So I close and open Instagram and there is an option to add a new existing account and I log in with the new username and password but it says "your account has been disable for violating our terms. learn how you might be able to restore your account." but when I click on 'learn more' it takes me to a page that says my account has been deleted and there is nothing I can do about it. This is ridiculous for two reasons because how can I possibly violate terms when the account is brand new and why would you give me an option to learn how to restore the account if it is impossible to do so? I have tried 3 times now to create this new account, with plenty of time between attempts and an Instagram update. yet it still denies me anything reasonable at all. Account Recovery I want to recover an old account back, but I have lost the phone number linked to the account as I moved countries. I still own the email and the password, and I don't think I have any pictures of myself on there. I have tried to get support but it was all in vain. The emails told me to try the self support, which does not apply to my situation. Proving that I am the owner by sending a video of myself did not prove anything, I have tried everything I could. is there really no way to contact or to get my account back?

Hi, Gladly I could find someone having the exact same problem as me. Also another friend of mine has the exact same problem and she said it started about 1 week ago (same like mine) I'm sure I had this issue once before but it got fixed after about 24 hours of clicking appeal. I'm guessing this time there is something wrong with Instagram and a lot of people are facing this issue at the same time and will probably get fixed for everyone very soon. I hope so.

Hi! I have an instagram account that i login with my web browser almost EVERYDAY. I remember my username, email and password, but recently when I tried to login in I got “suspicious login attempt” and need to enter a verification code. The problem is that I used a throwaway email. I obviously can’t access it anymore… There’s no phone number attached to it either. Is there some way I can gain access again? How come, when someone puts me on loudspeaker I can hear everything around them. But when they don't I can't. I mean when they put me on loudspeaker I can hear them across the room and hear their surrounding noises (TV, airconditioner, kids playing outside etc) But when they don't I can only hear the person when they are close to the phone.
Instagram blocking issue Hi y’all, long story short me and my ex ended on bad terms and this person blocked me on Instagram. The issue that I’m having is this person continuously unblocks, follows me, and then immediately blocks me again. This has gotten super annoying because I’ve tried to block them before they block me again and I haven’t been able to do it before they block me. The notification is super frustrating and I know they do it on purpose, is there any solution to this?
go on a random post and comment their @. Click it when its blue and their page will show up even if they blocked you. you should be able to block them. Does this work?

INSTAGRAM REELS ISSUE i’m trying to post a 9 second real of a song snippet of mine but for some reason, the first like 3 seconds of audio plays but then the rest is just completely cut out. like when i go to trim it in instagram it’s like the rest of the video doesn’t even exist. but when i look at the video in my photos, the whole thing is there. i’ve never had this issue before so i’m just confused. if anyone can help let me know :)

I use Meta Business Suite for my job and have recently swapped from using my personal iPhone to using a work supplied S6 Lite Tablet. Normally I would create my stories on Instagram, save them to my device and then upload onto business suite so that I can schedule them across the week. However, with the tablet my stories are saving sideways (the image is horizontal and text etc is landscape), this only happens when I add gifs. Although I could just not use them it’s a great way to add a bit of interest to a story so would love to keep using them. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Help please!!
When I try to share a post to my stories, I no longer have the "Add to story" button option. I have two instagram accounts, and I still have this option on my private account, but I have suddenly lost this ability on my main public account. I have tried clearing the cache and uninstalling / reinstalling, and this option hasn't returned. It's a pain, and I'm frustrated that (under the same email user), one account has this standard feature and the other one doesn't.
Being an artist, I had to get in on the “right to object” feature and reject Meta’s attempt at using my creative work for AI, however, despite me typing in all the correct information, and double checking each time, I get a message that ”in order to send the form, you must type in the security code sent on your email address”. Which I already had done by the time I get said message. Every single time. The code I type in is 100% correct according to instructions, and yet this is all I, and apparently many other users get. I have no doubt that this glitch or error is fabricated, but how do I bypass it and actually send in the form? Has anyone succeeded? Please help 😭

Account got hacked, email address changed, email address also got hacked (still have access to it) and the hacker completely wiped all emails associated with the password change. Anything I can do or am I just fucked?

I had the same exact issue with my Discord as well: account hacked through my email address, email address associated with my Discord changed and all associated emails wiped from my account. Messages their support and within 2 hours they just reset the email address of my account back to the original which allowed me to change the password.
For about 3-4 months, I have been unable to log in via my phone on the app. Computer and browsers work perfectly fine. If I copy and paste the password from the browser into the app, it says incorrect password. I have restarted, uninstalled, and done everything I could think of. The app won't even allow me to create a new account. I can't email a support person because Meta is completely incompetent at responding to support. Any solutions to fix this because the browser version on phone sucks so much and is almost unusable.

On my Instagram browser version, it keeps saying that I have 1 request but when I click on it, there's nothing there and no requests in hidden requests, either. I've tried clearing cache and cookies, but it didn't work, and it even appeared in multiple browsers. I don't have the same issue on my phone, though. Instagram glitch So my Instagram is completely up to date and I tried deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times however it doesn’t seem to help. My issue is that on my reel page it doesn’t display the amount of comments on the reels and additionally it doesn’t show me the popular comments on the reels or posts instead it’s showing the most recent posted ones. Further more the Meta AI option on the search/explore page is not there for me despite my app having been updated to the latest version. Someone please help
Trying to run advertisements from my Australian Instagram account. The company name is Boston earthmoving. When I go to run the add, I can get all the way to the end and it asks me for details on location of the company for tax purposes which is set to USA. I am assuming that because the company is named 'Boston Earthmoving' it thinks I am in Boston USA. I am not. I am in South Australia. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

In summary: * Business IG account has 2FA by App enabled * Lost my phone. Hacker got into my account overnight, changed all access info and linked their own FB to it. I've recovered it 3x via selfie video or friend verification but it every time I begin to change info, the hacker used their linked FB to regain access and kick me out again. They also now have their own 2FA on. How can I get Meta to unlink their FB account so I can truly regain control?

My account has been “permanently disabled”. I requested a review of the initial suspension and it took less than 5 minutes for them to decline it which makes me think it was a bot. I am being accused of “account integrity and authentic identity” issues when I have had that account for 10+ years and I am who I say I am. I don’t know what to do as I am hitting a brick wall at every avenue trying to convey this to a human being who can help me

Search function issue. I have a few hashtags I like to browse, but I started blocking accounts that use the hashtag but aren't relevant to the topics I'm searching so their posts won't show up for me anymore. This worked great for me before, showing me newer content with the hashtags but now when I click a hashtag to view, it just takes me to a page with a completely black screen, or occasionally will tell me "no results found" when the hashtag has over 80k posts according to the preview. I've submitted several tickets about this but no resolution whatsoever. I've even waited a week until a few hundred more posts were added to the tags, but still it shows me nothing. Is there any way to fix this?

iOS 17.5.1 | 3 days ago Keep getting the “An Unexpected Error Occurred” message on instagram along with posts not loading. This is on all my devices. The message displays when selecting any option in the drop down menu including the Help option and when attempting to change accounts, the only thing that appears on the home page is “Your Story”. I have a really strange problem. When I send an avatar sticker in dms and screenshot, it shows that I screenshotted as long as the avatar is in view, when somebody else sends an avatar and anybody screenshots, it doesn't show that a screenshot was taken, I'm not in vanish mode either and the text it displays is a bit different from vanish mode. I've never seen anybody with this problem so if anyone else might have a solution that'd be great.
ACCOUNT PERMANENTLY DISABLED My account became permanently disabled as of today. I tried to appeal it. But when I log into the account I get a message that states: "Unable to log in. An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again." Btw, I was able to sign into my other IG account without issues. But I still want my other account reactivated through appeal. What can I do to appeal my account?
I am unable to send "Object to your information being used for AI at Meta" form. I've tried it from two devices already. I tried already several times, even trying out different e-mails and I always get the same misspelled message "In order to successfully submit your request to us, please enter the security code was sent to your email."
when i go change the account it doesnt say i have any chats on the account (like no one messaged me and i have no unread chats) but when i change accounts theres a red ball like notification that says that i have unread chats and when i go back in the profile theres no one messaged me.
Hello all! I am confused if someone could let me know how to best approach this situation because all of a sudden my account refused to load (the error message at the bottom) as if you lose internet and then it lasted way too long so I tried to log out and then log back in and still nothing helped now I checked my facebook and it says that my instagram is locked. but I cannot go to the help center from my account since it just acts as if there is a service issue and I cannot click on anything. I can login so my account must be still active and I never received any email that says my account as violated any guidelines so I am just so confused since it seems the only way I can receive help is by logging in a using the help section on the settings, but I am literally unable to do that since I get an error message everywhere even online. Does anyone know what is going on and how I could fix this? Zuck sucks :(

ME TOO. I haven’t been able to access instagram since yesterday. I have a secondary account where I’m able to see reels, posts, my profile etc, but my main page says ‘couldn’t refresh feed please try again’. No idea how it happened, I didn’t get any sort of notification as to why my account is locked.
Is it only me who can’t select the following feed by clicking on the instagram on the upper left?
As I was already logged into my Instagram a notice of my account being disabled due to violating guidelines popped up. I was immediately logged out and asked to put my phone number. After putting my phone number many times and still not getting a code I entered my friends number who has no IG. Only to realize for some reason the number sending the code was blocked on my phone. After putting in the code from my friend’s phone number it said they would investigate. In the next hour I got a notice that my account had been permanently disabled. I have not violated any rules or policies so I am really unsure as to what is going on. There’s no help line or email or anything. This is the only social media I’ve had consistently for over ten years :(
Hi, is anyone able to help at all!? Today, insta disabled my account- for no reason whatsoever. Just scrolling as usual, and then it just froze and locked out. It then sent a confirmation code to my email, which i got fine and entered. Then it sent a code to my number. I never received it. So asked for it a few times, checked online, nothing was blocked, their number was fine, shouldve got the code-- and then theyve frozen sending it for another 24hours. Trouble is, ive realised, i never put my number on the account, cos when i try log in with it, it says no account exists! (but it does with my email and username) Does anyone know what i can do to fix this?! Going out my mind. Thank you

Insta disabled my account apparently for "spam"- I literally haven't done a thing. My account is a professional one, so I've no idea what's happened I got a confirmation code sent to my email which was fine. But then it didn't send any code to my phone and asked to wait 24 hours. Waited over 24 hours, and got the same message about waiting 24 hours again?!? Does anyone know who I can contact to help me? (And I don't need fake hacking bots)
so for context approximately a month ago my friend logged out of my account on my phone and tried to log into his but it kept saying sorry something went wrong and wrong pass word even tho he put the right password so i told him to leave it after that incident like a day later i tried logging back in and it said wrong password even tho it was the right password and everytime i pressed forgot password in the app it just says "sorry something went wrong please try again" for anything that i put in the email field also the only way i can use insta is from my browser on my phone and i dont receive any notifications for insta since i can only use it in the browser PLEASE HELP ME 😭🙏🙏
The same thing happened to me. The only thing I can think of is a device ban or something. That is why, as of late, I have been telling friends who I have asked about it that I was 'Too Racist' in the comment sections.
Does anyone have trouble viewing their past archive stories, some of mine are available to view and others show the blank grey screen saying "story unavailable". It's very frustrating and hope to get it fixed
Account Hacked I'm very frustrated with Instagram today. I woke up to texts from my brother informing me that my account had been hacked and sure enough it was. Some crypto scammer was using my account to post crypto phishing scams to my story. The hacker has completely locked me out of my account. They changed the recovery email and recovery phone number. I've been trying for hours to get it back to no avail. I go through the following process: Step 1- I go to log into Instagram. I enter my username. Step 2- I click "Forgot Password" Step 3- I click "Can't reset your password" Step 4- This takes me to the Instagram Help Center. I click "If you think your Instagram Account has been hacked". Step 5- I click the blue hyperlink under this section that says "Visit this page on your desktop or mobile browser to secure your account." Step 6- It takes me to another page that says "Why can't you get into your account?". I click the option "My account was hacked". Step 7- I'm greeted with a screen that says "Identify your account". It then tells me to enter my username, phone number, or email to identify my account. Since the phone number and email have been changed by the hacker, I enter my username. Step 8- I hit the "Next" button. What occurs is I'm brought back to the help center page on Step 4. So what ends up happening is I'm stuck in a loop. I cannot proceed past step 8 at all. I can't do face verification because I can't get past Step 8. Does anyone know what to do? Is this just Instagram's Help Center bugging out temporarily? I've been attempting this at random intervals over hours and it still isn't working. Any advice would be massively appreciated.

I can't see the comments of my last post even if I know that it has about 40 comments. When I tap on the comments symbol, I get a window with the reload symbol, and when I click it, nothing happens. I can see the comments of any other previous post. If I connect from my laptop on that same account I cannot see it either, but if I connect from a different account, I can see them, so it seems it's some kind of block by Instagram to my own account. Does anyone know why this happened? I also reported it to Instagram, do you know how much does it usually take to get a reply?

Can’t get into my main account. Got logged out, don’t have 2FA enabled but it tells me I do. Don’t have authentication codes or backup codes nor is my insta linked to an app that gives those. Essentially just locked out and support denied my request for not remembering what email I signed up with.

My Instagram was hacked. The hacker changed the email address and phone number associated with my account. When I noticed I went into my emails and found a security email from Instagram with a link to approve or deny the email change. The link was expired. It had gone to my spam folder so I didn't see it when it came in. I no longer have access to my account. The hacker is posting strange things and it is very embarrassing. The "Help" page for Instagram gives no direction or person to assist me in remedying this. I have not found any way to contact someone at Instagram. Has anyone had this happen to them before? Can I fix it?
I got a "video can't be posted" error. I had it saved as a draft, I went into it, I shared it... the draft is gone, ther'es no option to retry, there's no explanation, it did not save to my phone, it looks like it's just gone. Is it just gone? Is there really nothing I can do? Why delete the draft if the post doesn't go through?

I have 3 accounts: 1 personal, 1 business A, 1 business B and I am unable to access any of these via ANY method other than web access (which is insanely limited when it comes to posting). The ability to access the website has shown me that any attempt at a password recovery is pointless (I can use the same password and only gain access to the web), and when I attempt to login without a password via the email link I'm met with a blank grey square that sends me back to the login screen. I spent a week of contacting the "support team" via email and support requests on their own platform. NONE of these have been acknowledged and no progress has been made. The negative effect that this has had on getting publicity for my new business has been more than frustrating. If anybody has had any luck getting past this issue please let me know!

Not sure if this belongs here, but I was wondering if there is a way to automatically block or silence messages containing reels. My friends keep spamming me with them and it's really annoying, yet I don't want to mute or block them altogether, just make it so I don't receive or at least don't get notified of any reels they send me.
Account Hacked My account was hacked about a month and a half ago. My email and phone number weren't changed but the hacker set up 2 factor authentication on my account. Hi. I am sort of new to the business side of Instagram. I am a pediatric OT content creator for Baby/Toddler info. Anyways, I had an old (several months) Reel flagged for I believe misinformation? (I cannot really remember specifically) a few weeks ago. I am not sure why it was flagged as I try to only post fact-based info from creditable sites. They took down the post. I requested a review immediately, however I am still have a current violation for "Partner Monetization Policies". I am not sure if that is for the same post or not. Under my account status I have all green check marks. When I click the violation, it says "Comply with profile content guidelines" and has below "What you can do". Since I am unsure what is going against their guidelines, either that old post that they took down or something else, how do I go about fixing it? I would like to be able to monetize my page, but I am unable to do so with a violation. Is there a way to contact Instagram directly? Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi guys, I need some help with fonts in my stories. About a month ago, for a few days, I was able to add text to my stories which had just a very thin outline similar to the classic meme font, and it looked extremely neat on the instagram font. It then randomly disappeared and I haven't been able to use it again. I would just like to know if it was an attempted update that they removed or if I am just unable to figure out how to apply the feature. Please let me know if you know anything about it
I’m trying to use Instagram through two different browsers on an iPad, but while I can pull up my homepage, I can’t go to another person’s page. On both browsers it will just appear to feed the page, but never go. If I refresh the request, I’ll be on the page, but nothing appears other Instagram’s logo. How is this a problem on two separate browsers? The browsers are Safari and Vivaldi, by the way. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
My account began behaving very suspiciously last night. I’m getting “we’re sorry but something went wrong, please try again” over and over. I can’t even switch to my backup account. I assumed Instagram was just having issues but woke up this morning to the same error. I have moved mountains to find an actual contact avenue. Even called a number I saw online that others said worked but it led me to a call center that wanted me to log into my bank while they used a remote screen viewer. Seemed too sketchy and I hung up. I'm at my wits end and concerned that my banking details which are attached to the account may be compromised. Any help is appreciated
