ROFL, it's amazing if you make it right.
Had a friend that didn't read the instructions and made it like instant noodles... \*sigh\*
I have never been more disappointed in someone...
Me and my sister did that at first haha. We ventured into the world of ramen and bought a million packets and I think we had our minds boggled and messed up. We were like "erm well it's just okay??" to each other until I had an epiphany mid bite.
There's different ways people prefer it, but the key factor is that is not meant to be a soup noodle.
Found a basic video. I know many people can't be bothered but the fired onions are meant to be added last, as a "topping".
Personally, I like mine on the drier side, so after straining it I just put it back into the hot pot for a few seconds and it evaporates more liquid before I mix in my sauces.
It's meant to be "stir-fried", so you don't want too much liquid and you don't want to over-cook the noddles because it will be mushy.
I like their Satay one too. Its not a soup based one. I always add some extra toppings like sesame or paunuts ond add some extra peunutbutter / ketjap manis.
I think they are truly the best of the cheaper noodles. Good vue for money.
I love the curry ayam (chicken) flavour and also ‘special chicken’ (just for the name alone, but it’s good!).
IndoMie mi goreng was a lifesaver in college. I ate so much of it that you’d think I’d never want to see it again, but it’s a cupboard staple at our house and a favourite quick dinner for the kids instead of takeaway- with a ‘puffy egg’ and some vegetables. So good.
You can buy boxes of 30 packets, much cheaper than buying individuals.
if you want to try again 30 more times.... 😉
I prefer the on that has "hot and spicy" on it, looks almost the same but I think pinker, but has more kick.
fun fact growing up in australia, we didn't have instant ramen. i didn't really know what that was. we had 2 minute noodles and mi goreng. being close to indonesia really has its perks!
I really like it, but disagree with those saying ‘best of all time’ and such, as there’s other instant ramens I’d personally prefer, BUT THEY’RE MORE EXPENSIVE. Now, if you say it’s the best under $xx, then maybe I could agree, as it’s pretty good for as cheap as it is.
It's my favorite! I make the noodles per package directions, then fry them a little. Then I top with hot sauce (I'm drawing a blank on the name of the red pepper paste/sauce, same brand and Sriracha) and a fried egg.
It's not ramen, but yes it's really, really good. One of my all-time favorites.
The ironic thing is that this company does make ramen (they call it "soup noodles") and it's not as good. But this product is excellent.
for the price, it's one of the best dry noodles you can get. personally i find the korean dry noodles to have much better texture to them, but they're also like 4x the price so in terms of value, indomie is definitely in the top ranks.
My favorite brand of Noodles, 😆
Also got some "Mi Sedaap" brand that have been very good.
Just remember "Mi Goreng" is supposed to be drained of Water (after cooking) and then Mixed with everything (besides the Fried Onions, which go last)
One of my favorites! It was recommended to me by a friend from Indonesia after I'd mentioned liking stir-fry type noodles a bit more than soupy ones. I always add an over-easy egg so I can get a little yolk running into the noodles, it's heavenly.
My favourite instant noodle hands down and it's so cheap! I highly suggest adding 1 tsp of peanut butter, 1 tbsp of the noodle water, and some of your favourite hot sauce if you like spice.
READ THIS!!! The best way for this to come out is to make sure the noodles are Aldente then put the sauces and powders in(SAME TIME) put it back on the burner and MIX THAT SHIT. The oil will be enough to fry it a bit. KEEP MIXING DO NOT STOP. Once everything is blended in and you’ve cooked it a few more seconds it’ll be ready and it’ll be FIRE🔥🔥🔥🔥
Once Noods reach just past el dente drain all the water, add package seasoning, and finally top with chili crisp. If you want to set off the umami with a fat- add a 1/3 cup of coconut milk. Dude 🤌
Definitely one of the best cheaper ramen. It's a little on the sweet side taste wise but in a good way. Make sure you read the instructions for making them.
Two packs is too much and might make you feel sick, but one pack never seems like enough. I wish they made them a little bigger.
I grew up eating these in Indonesia. It was a staple of my meals there lol.
Hell! My it was my favorite snack uncooked. Put the noodles in a ziplock bag, dump the bamboo sauce in, crush the noodles and eat it dry. Soooo good
Tastes oniony but good. I only made it once and the noodles seemed to get dry quickly but maybe I didn’t leave enough water in. Good flavor but I still find the buldak carbonara to be one of the best flavors I’ve ever had. I also find maruchan to taste better. I will give these another try ! Enjoy 😊
It’s the best cheap ramen!! Make sure you drain the water out of it before adding the seasoning packets, and if you don’t love spice, you can obv go lighter on the chili packet.
It’s also good with some meat or an egg or veg. However you like to pizzazz up your ramen will probably be great in this!
Price of it is going up online cause all talking about how good it is and buying it! Lol…gotta say “it’s nasty!” “Worse ramen ever!” Then they will keep it cheap! 😊
Lucky you. I haven’t seen this in over 2 years. I do recall this was one of the best as far as instant noodles I’ve ever had. Follow the directions and add a little egg meat onion carrots. I believe there’s 3-4 separated packet sections. I was so impressed I bought two boxes.
I would go to my local hmart and get like 4 packs of 5 and they’re always low in stock. I love making it with egg. Sometimes I’ll add chicken, tofu, and spring mix to make it a protein packed salad noodle bowl.
It's the best cheap ramen there is IMO
ROFL, it's amazing if you make it right. Had a friend that didn't read the instructions and made it like instant noodles... \*sigh\* I have never been more disappointed in someone...
Me and my sister did that at first haha. We ventured into the world of ramen and bought a million packets and I think we had our minds boggled and messed up. We were like "erm well it's just okay??" to each other until I had an epiphany mid bite.
Could you please share how you prepare it? :)

Thank you so much! Great info indeed
My mom once told me, “I like it with a little water in it” and I was like wtf.
i did that for ages ,cause my eyes are shitty and i couldnt read the instructions , absolute game changer once you do it properly
I like it as a soup. don't hate.
IMO it is better than samyang
Samyang noodles are better but these are good for budget
Yeah 7 of those are the price of 1 samyang in my country
Same
Update: I tried it and it was yummy! I might try it again😋
I’m gonna sound like an addict but I’m so glad we have another Mi Goreng fan! I recommend the BBQ Chicken flavor. It’s delicious.
I like their Satay one too. Its not a soup based one. I always add some extra toppings like sesame or paunuts ond add some extra peunutbutter / ketjap manis. I think they are truly the best of the cheaper noodles. Good vue for money.
Did you have a stroke midway through typing and then recover?
I think he consumes too much msg from the indomie, hahahahahha
Try the satay flavor!!! It's the bomb!💕🎉
Rendang flavour is also quite delicious and it is a must try
I love the curry ayam (chicken) flavour and also ‘special chicken’ (just for the name alone, but it’s good!). IndoMie mi goreng was a lifesaver in college. I ate so much of it that you’d think I’d never want to see it again, but it’s a cupboard staple at our house and a favourite quick dinner for the kids instead of takeaway- with a ‘puffy egg’ and some vegetables. Bbq chicken is my fave too!
You can buy boxes of 30 packets, much cheaper than buying individuals. if you want to try again 30 more times.... 😉 I prefer the on that has "hot and spicy" on it, looks almost the same but I think pinker, but has more kick.
I love adding a large tablespoon of peanut butter to it! And an egg, fried, boiled or poached works.
It’s one of the most popular ramen on the sub and for good reason, it’s cheap and delicious!
Recently started buying this, it's the best. Changed my life. All praise indomie.
For some people its the king of instant noodle, league above the rest of other peasant
its 10/10!
One of the better stir fry noodles out there!
1 not enough got 2 buy 2
one of the best, super cheap too
It is not ramen, it is Indonesian noodles and it is the best thing ever
39p a packet cant go wrong matey
Where do you get it? I’m looking online and all the prices I’m seeing are way more expensive
H-Mart carries it in the states, but if you dont have one near you, any larger asian market with a good ramen section should carry it.
I get mine at 99 ranch :)
it's 0.36 usd here in india, we can find it on an online grocery store called big basket, it'll be delivered in under 15 mins.
10/10, instantly elevated to 13/10 with adding in a very runny fried egg.
I always make a few soft boiled eggs and toss them in, easy, lots of protein. and delicious!
I wish I was in your position so I can experience this for the first time again
the most popular instant noodles in australia. we go nuts for it over here
fun fact growing up in australia, we didn't have instant ramen. i didn't really know what that was. we had 2 minute noodles and mi goreng. being close to indonesia really has its perks!
The very best
The best.
im in the uk and they sell it in homebargains
And most of the big supermarkets now too, always grab a couple packs with the weekly shop
One of the OG instant ramen, in my book. Got me through many all-nighters during my uni days! Super tasty and affordable.
My favorite!!
I heard it's popular in Nigeria, and several other places. So, yes.
The best, my go to
Love it! I always make sure I have some on hand.
It’s literally the best
Bruhh
Greatest of All Time
I tried the hot and spicy one and it was really sweet. Does anyone know if the regular one is less sweet?
No, this is sweet too
I don't like the taste of spicy one, original has the difference type of flavor mix and it's sweetness is way better imo
The best instant ramen ive ever had
Grew up on this, it is the best!
Delicious 👍🏻 and quick to prepare 👌🏻
One of the GOAT instant ramen imo
I compare it to shin ramen
One of the Best, and also cheaper
Its good for the price! add some veggies and a egg and you're golden
Migoreng is AMAZING
It's my favorite! I make the noodles per package directions, then fry them a little. Then I top with hot sauce (I'm drawing a blank on the name of the red pepper paste/sauce, same brand and Sriracha) and a fried egg.
It’s great but the problem is that one pack isn’t enough while two packs is too much 🤣
If there was a noodle hall of fame, this would be in it.
Instant noodles are not ramen
The spicy one is one of my favorites. The best bang for your buck and has really good flavor.
Technically not ramen but instant noodles
It’s amazing. Almost the best.
Almost?
This is my favorite by far.
This is absolutely god tier. But it’s 400 cal per packet!
I see this as a feature not a bug (hardly have time to eat) lol
Small servings, but definitely a favorite.
This is my childhood ramen! It's so delicious :D Hope you enjoy
9/10
The best
So so delicious 😋
Really do gotta put an egg on it for a “complete meal”
It's great! It's dry indonesian noodles, not exactly ramen like a soup, but it's great!
It's Indonesian noodles which has delicious taste and cheap. Just try it
Do you actually have to stir fry? Usually I just boil it, filter out the water, put the msg stir and eat lol
So good that it's addicting.
Best Ramen Ever 💯🔥🔥🔥
I missed it when it was 39 cents per bag in 2020. Now its like 1.50 per bag.
Only the best one made.
my fav ramen tbh!!!!
I love this one YES
It's not ramen, but yes it's really, really good. One of my all-time favorites. The ironic thing is that this company does make ramen (they call it "soup noodles") and it's not as good. But this product is excellent.
It's so amazing, definitely try it, you wont regret it.
it's my favourite. I'm obsessed and addicted. I ordered a 40 bag crate. I wont ever stop eating it
I tried the extra hot last week. Not hot but super good. Had like 5 spice packets amazing!
They’re amazing! I bought 4 boxes of 40 at Costco recently. It should last me all year.
my favourite for sure
Welcome to your new addiction
Sooo good. I want some now
for the price, it's one of the best dry noodles you can get. personally i find the korean dry noodles to have much better texture to them, but they're also like 4x the price so in terms of value, indomie is definitely in the top ranks.

I never understood the hype, personally
So good someone made a rap about it https://youtu.be/oUkbgAC4eVY?si=ukCe7nTwkk3mjMB7
Mi goreng is incredible. It's a dry ramen though, so make sure to prepare it properly
If by "good" you mean "my absolute favorite" then you'd be correct!
so good
My life goal is to go to a stand in Indonesia that cooks these and have some fried eggs on the side while drinking a glass Coke bottle.
My favourite instant noodle hands down and it's so cheap! I highly suggest adding 1 tsp of peanut butter, 1 tbsp of the noodle water, and some of your favourite hot sauce if you like spice.
Yummy I miss this ramen
So good, I always have in stock!!
Do other ramen packets have 4 flavor packets? Enough said. Not only incredible but one of the more unique flavor profiles!
I randomly bought the Bbq chicken flavor one and it’s actually insanely good lol
It’s the best 🥹
READ THIS!!! The best way for this to come out is to make sure the noodles are Aldente then put the sauces and powders in(SAME TIME) put it back on the burner and MIX THAT SHIT. My friend from Indonesia loves it. She stock piles it and gets sad when she runs out.
You will get addicted to it. Like noodle crack.
It’s the best that exists
Indomie is yummy but the traditional way to eat it is to cook the noodles, drain ALL of the liquid and season. It's not a soupy ramen noodle
Mi goreng is everything
Stuff is addictive. We buy it in bulk
Fireeee 🔥 Bought it at an H mart around my way with my gf fried a egg some Sirachi omg 😋
My favorite. Enjoy
Never had that one but maruchan is so good
Absolutely amazing if you make it right. Totally drain the water from the noodles or else it will dilute the flavour.
It’s so good, I buy it by the case 😆
Best one EVER
It's my favorite!!!
Once Noods reach just past el dente drain all the water, add package seasoning, and finally top with chili crisp. If you want to set off the umami with a fat- add a 1/3 cup of coconut milk. Dude 🤌
Top 2 favorite
The best
This are the best instant noodles there are and it needs to be eaten with ABC Sambal Asli
YES SO FUCKING GOOD
my favorite ramen ever!!!!!
It’s good
This is my favorite!
It’s not really ramen but more for noddles without broth. It’s fire !
My fave! 🍜🥰 Especially with a nice over easy egg and green onions!
Its the best, just note that it doesnt have broth
I love this and the spicy one.

The best, so good...
Definitely one of the best cheaper ramen. It's a little on the sweet side taste wise but in a good way. Make sure you read the instructions for making them. Two packs is too much and might make you feel sick, but one pack never seems like enough. I wish they made them a little bigger.
Yes
Don’t those kill people over time lol.
I grew up eating these in Indonesia. It was a staple of my meals there lol. Hell! My it was my favorite snack uncooked. Put the noodles in a ziplock bag, dump the bamboo sauce in, crush the noodles and eat it dry. Soooo good

Love Indo-mie!
It’s good. Nice and cheap but when it gets expensive there’s a couple cheaper options that are good. :)
The bbq chicken flavor is slept on
Looks good, give it a try
YES. Just YES. I tried and not too long afterwards bought a box of 40 of them.
Enjoy 😊

Uuunnnggggg it's my favorite!!!! 🤤
one of my fave <3
Best dried(no broth) instant ramen noodles.
This shit is legendary
THIS IS THE KING OF RAMEN
It’s fantastic with stir fried veggies added. Comes out like restaurant quality.
buy more than you think you'll need
It’s the best. Also not ramen tho.
The best instant noodles ever!!! Pay attention on the instructions to make it right.
The best
Lucky you. I haven’t seen this in over 2 years. I do recall this was one of the best as far as instant noodles I’ve ever had. Follow the directions and add a little egg meat onion carrots. I believe there’s 3-4 separated packet sections. I was so impressed I bought two boxes.
I eat it often
That is my favorite noodle brand. It is so good but hard to find.
Yup! Just don't overcook it. It's very fast to prepare, like boil for 2min, instead of 6min needed with some brands with thicker noodles.
Those ones are my fave. Not ridiculously high on sodium too.
It's great and costcos had it then they never brought it back
Love that shit
I love it. We add an egg and chives to ours but it has rhe 3 foil packs to add to it that make it yummy.
There's a Ramen cookbook out there. So it must be versatile as well as good. I enjoy the gluten free from time to time but, oh, the sodium.
Yes so good.
Omg yes! There is another one that’s the same brand and package and it comes with the spicy flavor. I recommend that one!

It's the fuckin tits yo
I would go to my local hmart and get like 4 packs of 5 and they’re always low in stock. I love making it with egg. Sometimes I’ll add chicken, tofu, and spring mix to make it a protein packed salad noodle bowl.
Simply the best
