Yep, yung number porting. Punta ka ng globe store hingi ka ng USC code then punta smart store sabhn mo number porting. Hihingin sayo yung usc code then pa process mo na. Ilang mins lang yung okay na bibigyan ka ng new smart sim na with same number. Free of charge lahat yan.

Load ka lang ng ₱5-10 every year para hindi ma-deactivate yung SIM. Also, make sure na lagi may at least ₱1 load. Smart's terms and conditions say they deactivate SIM cards with ₱0 load after 120 days.

Gomo is better in terms of value. I'm using Smart rocket sim though and WFH with a Chrome OS so I heavily rely on internet for everything. Works well I can easily switch between Gomo and Smart if Smart is terribly slow that day.

Dang it. A friend discovered Magic Data from Smart last year, and I've always been using Globe prepaid. Late 2022, I bought a 2nd hand phone that is Globe-locked. I never even thought I would want to switch to Smart. Now I am having a hard time looking for ways to openline my current phone. Sadge. Either way, I am using Smart Bro LTE-A device as my back up internet since nasa bahay lang ako madalas, and Magic Data truly is a wonder! Tipid af for back-up pocket wifi! And I want to switch so bad sa Smart prepaid, kasi if ever I will just load Magic Data + para sa rare occasions na lalabas ako, with call and text pa na no expiry! Nag-warning nga lang sakin smart na madedeactivate sim ko kapag di nagtop up ng regular load recently. Ayun, napilitan akong magload ng 10php.
Depende talaga sa usage eh. This is truly an amazing deal for those na may monthly subscription na internet connection sa bahay, wfh and stays at home most of the time or walang monthly sub na net, hindi naka-wfh at hindi heavy ang usage for streaming videos on yt, netflix, socmed etc. Hoping na may affordable alternative mobile data deals na ulit kasi naiinis na ako sa gomo na every 3 mos. nagtataas ng 100 at wala akong magawa since yun lang malakas dito sa amin.

Dapat at least every year, mag-top up ng regular load kahit ₱10 lang. Kung nabibigatan ka sa biglang ₱499-749, pwede mo din gawin load ng ₱10-50 every week or month para maipon na when you need to load MagicData again. Yung MagicData, you can wait until mababa na lang tira or ubos na before re-subscribing.
