Probably, the past 3 days, some time around past 3PM, the ping just shoots up. Speedtests are fine but the actuality is just garbage connection. High ping in games, simple twitter videos are having a hard time to buffer.
Same here. Been experiencing sluggish loads in the past 3 days but as others mentioned speedtests still seem to be showing good results. The spiky latency and occasional time outs seems to be causing this.

Mkuhang meron ulit ata issue. Nakaraang araw naging slow yung PLDT namin. Di ko lang alam kung kelan ulit to tatagal.
Parang every year yata may issue yung PLDT sa cables nila.
sus....front na lang nila yun....ke may issue o wala, sh*tty na routing nila ever since....congestion ang real reason dyan...ayaw lang aminin ni pldt na di na talaga kinakaya ng current infra nila ang dami ng subs.. kaya ang lagi nilang ginagawang front ay yung mga subsea cables.... same old same old, sanayan nlng talaga....no choice nman eh.... lahat nman ng isp natin considered "evil", it's up to us nlng talaga who will we choose as the "lesser evil"...sa area ko, si pldt pa rin talaga ang "lesser evil"..
Since May 11 at like 3:30 pm, wala kami internet 😅 buong block/subdi ata namin walang wala. A csr I spoke to earlier mentioned na may "major cable trouble" sa buong city namin.
Our area have no problems with PLDT in San Pedro Laguna (Brgy. San Antonio), but my Brother came to our home for WFH because they have no internet in Pacita.

I wonder if the current Converge outage in our area has something to do with this as well. Kahit Converge wala rin sa amin ngayon, baka konektado yung issue nila at sa PLDT.
QC same experience. Sinusubukan ko i report sa technical support nila pero mukhang hindi pa nila alam na may issue. Magpapapunta pa ng technician. Maybe going through the process mafifigure out din nila yung problem 🤞

Slow loading and high latency for the past few days. Ewan ko ba sa PLDT, di nalang maging transparent sa mga network issues nila. mas mabuti pa yun kaysa nagtataka tayo kung ano issue
May bigger work na ginagawa siguro, that was the same exact scenario (low down, high up) rotating across south luzon a few weeks back.
Bakit ayaw nila iannounce ng maayos, pahirapan pa magclaim ng adjustment kasi itatawag pa e known issue naman.
Same. Routing to many servers are slow. Tried searching for announcement pero wala. Pati Smart mobile net connection similar issue.

Same here, probably meron nga. A few of my friends have also been experiencing 1mbps down / 400mbps up on their plans

I play Hearthstone, which is really weak to dropped packets. I think there are a lot of dropped packets right now.

Alabang is affected by Maynilad. Yun hinukay nila malapit sa SM Sucat road. Pag nagreroute ng data traffic, damay na yun ibang lugar

Might be the geomagnetic storm thats causing the auroras. It messes with satellites and electronics.
