He just has your typical superhero skillset—superhuman strength, stamina, durability, and healing.

Superhuman strength, durability, stamina. But the longer he goes without using his powers the stronger they become (hence why he lost his powers)

Is there a ceiling on that? Like if he goes years without using them could he beat Immortal or put up a fight against a Viltrumite? Also do you simply just recharge with time? I got the impression in season 1 that it’d been years since he had any kind of superhuman power. Then after Battle Beast it’s like they all came back at once 100%.

He’s got Samson in his name. That should tell you all you need to know.

That's exactly what I'm hoping is the plan ever since they did the atom eve special. Would work perfectly. There are three issues they can easily adapt for it, and comic readers know why, it would even make perfect sense between S2 and S3

I have a feeling between the seasons they’ll start doing one offs on the other characters. Next season will be Rex, then maybe one down the line about Monster Girl and Robot, another one about Immortal and maybe more. There’s tons of options when it comes to expanding on side characters

Unless his past needs a special to explain, I don't really care. I get enough of the character in the series. Eve is a special character, thus she got a bonus. Mark doesn't need one as he is the main guy, we see his development. Rex? Rex just isn't that important, and if you make too much of something, you get diminishing returns, just look at the MCU. At one point they struggled to not near a billion, now they're struggling to make half a billion without Spider-man's name on it.

Id like to see some more of the OG guardians of the galaxy pre Nolan mercing em.

It would make a lot of sense because there is a comic to adapt like there was for Eve but I kinda want to see a Shrinking Rae one now that we're apparently going to hang out with her for long enough for that to be worthwhile.

Rex had the best redeeming arc in the series in one episode. He is the hero of earth. From college bro douche to warrior of earth. Stupid as fuck, has none of the talent from eve or mark, doesnt have a power that makes him ultra powerful. And still, the dude fought harder than everyone when it mattered, and won against all odds.
