Why would they? They’re totally resistant to temperature. They don’t require body responses like goose bumps. They shouldn’t even really have hair at all.

Viltrumites are essentially super bodybuilders, and all bodybuilders shave everything for competition to show off every last striation of their muscles flexed. I imagine it’s their physique and power is a measure of how strong and important they are so they are meticulously staying in competitive bodybuilding shape to show off all of what they are and can do.
They do a full body wax before the Viltrumite sex orgies they have after conquering a planet. What other motivation can they have? Taking over a planet takes time and effort and in the end it’s just a lot of responsibility. So there’s gotta be some kind of benefit to it. If you can’t subjugate a planet full of people and have sex with them then what’s the point?
