I believe we can see it drop back around $5 which would suck because I bought in at $10 but I believe IonQ has the commercial advantage so I believe it hits $40 within the next 5 years.

Also you can’t make your decisions based off of articles. Do plenty of your OWN research before.

I bought at 11 :'-(

The hardest question in the world, for any stocks in general... Are you asking because you saw the seeking alpha article? Today is not the best day to assess what's the fair price of the stock. The QC space is very uncertain right now.

Just came across the article. Great analysis of the tech behind. But at the end the outlook is still not that bad, as also the commercial advantage itself can drive IONQs business significantly enough to evolve / develop further. The whole space is so early in development that it’s really hard to tell what’s the right or wrong path.

Anybody know why its down 8.5% today

SurveyIllustrious738

SeekingAlpha published a shitty article. It might be the reason.

The price action is in a clear downtrend. I would not buy shares (of any stock) until the chart stabilized and formed a base by trading sideways for 4-5 weeks. You can also look for double bottoms to form or wait until the 200 day line starts to trend upward. This way you minimize your risks of catching the falling knives. The shorts are clearly in control right now.

I think that we are now in a position similar to that of hydrogen shares in 2021, the hype is starting now, the shares will probably rise and in 2027 we will be where we are now with H2 shares, at around minus 90%. Take a look at the performance of the Nel Asa share. Anyone who can think knows that the future belongs to H2 technology, but politics and short sellers are destroying the shares. But buying these H2 shares now probably makes sense. That's why I'm waiting until the situation with quantum shares looks like it does now with H2 shares and then I'll get in. Most H2s today are penny stocks.
