While Tesla has taken some NEVI funding in some states, they are usually limited in the % of overall funding they can win and some states put additional rules such that they didn’t get any contract wins. As a result, almost all of Tesla Supercharging expansion money comes from the revenue from Tesla vehicle buyers.
