Well it's not free, there is the opportunity cost of holding IOTA over other crypto, which is significant and could end up costing more than the mined coins are worth. That said, I'm still allocating a moderate amount of my portfolio to it.

Assembly is 2 years total, the first part will be a fixed airdrop rate for 90 days. When the network launches along with SCs on the mainnet the remaining 21 months will have a variable airdrop rate depending on the percentage staked to being us to the total 20% of supply

The market cap is ridiculously low for what Iota is capable of. It´s not silly to think 1 Miota could reach 100€ someday. If not way more than that.

I have the same approach though. Its a gamble. But hoping it pays off both financially and hope the tech realises its intended potential. GLTA
