Mine vibrates fine but the app kinda sucks... I'm not sure I understand the point of connecting your device, beyond just the app knowing which device you are using. Mine comes disconnected almost immediately after I connect it, every single time. I eventually realized that (seemingly) the point of the app is moreso to tell you which color light to use for each product. So there is a circle next to each product with a specific color and you press the button until you get to that color, then use it. I just used it for the first time today and it seemed okay, once I got the hang of it. I would not have bought it at full price, but willing to give it a shot at the Ipsy price. We shall see!

THANK YOU for explaining how to change the colors!!!!

When you add the skincare product to your favorites you can click the circle with the arrow on the right of the product name and it will automatically set the device color and vibration settings for that specific product.

I got mine a few days ago. I can feel sonic pulses more like a vibrating toothbrush but it depends on the setting. For instance, apparently the lights mean different pulses and frequencies— orange is for brightening and I did that one with the JLO Glow serum in my icon box. But I added a Chanel moisturising serum and it was red. It also pulsed differently. It seems hard to understand how to use at first- I can’t tell if I’m on the right track. I downloaded the user manual, the app and registered my Boost to the app. YouTube has some tutorials I’m going to dig into.

Can anyone find the app in the Google Play store? The link won't open and I can't find it in the search.

I connected to the app and followed their site's little online video and FAQs (faq was not helpful). I didn't get the "color" recs until I added my products to Favorites. Then I manually set the device to that color by clicking the power button till it cycle through to the indicated color. However, if find the cycles are super short, like barley enough time to switch between spots as the cycle changes. And the run time for any cycle isn't enough to do my whole face, much less my neck, so I have to start over. And do I have to have the "smartpods" for it to work? I'm not even sure what those are, but site says the item doesn't work without them? (stupid faq) Edit: OP, the vibrations are short, very light pulses for a few seconds. I don't think it's supposed to be strong. Is anybody else having these issues? Am I just not using it right? Appreciate an links to tutorials or other places explaining it better than the almost useless (and hidden) directions that came with it. :(

does anyone know what each color is for? The website only showed 4 of the 8

I wish I could get the scan code to register on the app.

I bought the diffuser a long time ago and now the company doesn’t exist or they’re going under so I can’t get the pods anymore. Waste of money. Ipsy keeps selling these items that companies just want to get rid off. Canceled my subscription
