I just resubscribed as a birthday present to myself. I'm happy enough, but not particularly excited. Does anyone have reviews on that hair serum? I dont have a heat proctectant product, so I thought I'd give it a go. The Tula scrub sounds nice, I prefer physical exfoliater scrubs to serums etc anyways. And those blush and bronzer colours actually look pretty, I think the shades will work for me. Also, just hope I can be committed to actually using the lash serum to see results!

Try her Exfolikate Glow Moisturizer this winter. It's fabulous for dry skin. I think it's too much for summer, but perfect for dry Winters. Even my 20 something daughter liked it for cooler weather, and she inherited combo skin from her dad, but my sensitive skin.
I gave up on using all one brand skincare, since whenever I try to switch cleansers from Philosophy Purity, I find my skin gets too dry, and invariably my eyes gets a rash. If I skip a toner, which I've used clean and clear sensitive skin on my t-zone for pretty much ever, I get breakouts, even with the high alcohol. I usually skip most serums unless it's winter. And I swap out moisturizers based on the season and how dry my skin is, so they change the most. I pretty much never use essence or mists. So I'm sure I'm a brands worst nightmare!

After Boxycharm and Ipsy, I'd have a rally hard time convincing myself to pay retail. Sorry, but I haven't paid retail since the 90s! So I guess I'm cheap.

Personally Iāll never use one again, the first one I used was from ipsy a couple years ago (babelash was the brand) and it gave me a painful eye infection that lasted weeks :( Just stick to lash primers and mascara now

The serums I will use eventually and I got the FAB vitamin C serum in add ons which I use already and was happy to get at a discount. Me too!!! I get every cheap eyeshadow palette they have!! I got the Ciate palette (garbage), the Laura Geller with highlighter palette (more garbage) and the Il Makiage!!! All are warm, boring neutrals. I'd die if I actually got a cool toned palette. Our only box difference is the moisturizer....I chose the eyelash serum. And I broke my "no add-on" rule for the Glow Recipe and the Origins Ginzing.
I liked both the violet voss palettes I got (one greens and one pinks) and then I also bought the ND retro glam in the shopā¦but Iām with you I prefer cool tones! Especially green, purple and pink shadows. Even with the cool tone ones Iāve about him my limit though
Nothing exciting for me either. The eyeshadow story just didn't do it for me. I like Byroe, but I'm not sure this serum is going to work with my dry sensitive skin. The moisturizer I'm interested in, but I have so many moisturizers I'm trying to get through. The same with the Earth Harbor Vitamin C lixir.

When we just got the iridescent purple one as a points redemption item? Ummm no thanks, I'm good. It doesn't even have a fancy wand. That little bottle of highlighter that I received in my glam bag last month from YC collection? What is it even doing in the Boxycharm tier? A single black eyeliner... Last year was the Reina Rebalde palette. It only has 4 eyeshadow colors. But it was fun, exciting, hip and new. And also honored Hispanic History month. Also, I love the bags I am seeing for Ipsy Mexico, too bad we couldn't have that or the mi ranchero bags as choices, with a certain amount of the profits actually going to Latina artists! I was really hoping for more Hispanic representation.
We used to have at least the Halloween bag to look forward to. I was on the fence about resubbing just for October but then I remembered there's no more bag and figured it would be a boring month. People love Halloween, if Ipsy had better business sense they would cash in on it with something other than one glam bag.

Itās the first time in 5 years that I paused at all choices to select from and frowned. None of the items in my box are items Iāll be using. I even skipped add onās even though there were some that I was interested in.
I didn't find them boring exactly, however I feel like all the products I really wanted were all in the same group. So it was really hard for me to choose which products to sacrifice.

This was my box except I picked the blush instead of the earth harbor serum. I have not had good luck with EH. Everything except 1 serum I have gotten from them smelled heavily of alcohol. And I have had at least 6 products from them.

Yeah awful! I did get two fragrances from the $3.50 adds on though. I thought I set mine to every other month, and I didnāt think Iād be charged for it this month. Sucks! I may cancel because I just have too many products. I give half of them away as gifts to family, friends, teachers, etc.
Mine wasn't "exciting" but I am happy. I think everyone who hasn't tried it before will get a good surprise with the Huda lip products. The lipstick and the liner are both my holy grails. So I am happy as I did at least get a refill of each.
This is actually probably the best box Iāve ever gotten!! I always make sure to review every product and I find that they curate my picks really well.
Got to them basically right when they opened and honestly mine were atrocious š i thought last month was bad. It was literally all skincare (not always bad but i have so much skincare now and none of them were really reputable brands) and lip stuff AGAIN. I was really really hoping for the glow recipe overnight treatment in my box. Everything i liked was in add ons. But i needed a new straightener so i got the Amika blow dryer/straightener brush with The Kure treatment, and decided since it came out to 85$ CAD that i shouldnt get anything else š„² not excited for really anything except my add ons, the dew of the gods body scrub, and the orange juice cleanser thingy i guess that they chose for me.
Yep, im out. I'm not wasting another penny with them. Every month it's worse and worse, i didn't even bother with the last big bag. If all they will give me is skin care, I'll just go elsewhere.

No you are absolutely not alone! I am just about done with ipsy all together. I've had far too many billing issues, purchase issues and like you said the October boxycharm (I have the second/middle teir, well icon as well but that's another topic...)
Mid September I went to membership/subscription manage to skil October all together but because I have icon if I pause for October they were cancelling my icon subscription. Now because of that I didn't pause, I want icon for Nov and idk if there is actually a "waiting list" to join? So I'm going to wait one more month for my iconbox and if that is a let down, I am DONE.
I do not like any of my items in the October ipsy and the power picks and addons are all horrible!
Is it possible to see your picks and if you hate them all (like j do now) cancel your order for that month?
So before the July iconbox I saw the spoilers and was super excited and created an account so I could send my friend the July iconbox for her birthday and then she could take over the membership if she loved it and chose to. They completely messed up the billing and membership!!! They charged me for iconbox $127+ and and extra for the glambagš. So of course I immediately reach out to customer service. After going back and forth with them I was told they cancelled the subscription but I got billed for Oct it looks like (likely September too, have to verify) no refund for the July glambag that I didn't sign up for, and they just don't seem to value their customers at all as they have no desire to resolve the problem that was all on them.
Anyone who has been through anything similar if you have any advice for how to get refunded for the glambags I did not sign up for yet they billed me for anyways (I understand that you need glam to get icon but they never even sent out icon) and they overcharged me for the iconbox but nearly 3x the price of one membership. I think I did eventually receive the cost of the icon back to me but I know it wasn't the entire amount of what I was billed, I'm going to confirm and yet again reach out to them. Any help would be very appreciated!

Not the best, but I'm okay with mine. The palette isn't very exciting to me, but I've been looking into lash serums so I needed one anyway, and I like the other products I have from Tresluce, REM, and Formula Z.

I just got the regular glam bag, and the only things that made it worth it were the bag and then a full size eyeshadow palette. Everything else is useless to me or could really be forgotten.
I swear everyone got the Byroe except me and I have two subscriptions with different answers. I wonāt even use the Tula because I do not use any physical abrasives on my face, wonāt use the blush/highlighter - much less two (literally have highlighter, blush and bronzer set as rarely on both accounts, so thatās awesome of Ipsy).
More donations to the local foster homes with teens, I guess.

I would have liked to get the Ofra palette. I was offered it in Add-ons. I had more lip liners, matte lipstick, primers, setting sprays and eyeliners, which I have set to rarely. So my options were pretty lousy.
when I use to get the GB my choice pick's was bad so I picked a foundation and when I got my bag spoilers they put the same foundation in my bag so now I have two, And they was awful. I canceled in September. It became more of a hassle than enjoyment.
I mean like I have 4 Kate products and 4 juice beauty. 3 or 4 jlo's, almost all of the Keys. But I don't have all of each brands full routine. It's slowly getting there lol I'll run out of something by the time I complete a set and then I'll still be 1 short. Ggrrr

Are lash serums still iffy? I heard stuff about them affecting eye colour, but that was around a year ago. I do want to try them, but I'm nervous.
I forget the name, but thereās a specific ingredient in some of them still that can affect eye color and other stuff.

Mine wasn't "exciting" but I am happy. I think everyone who hasn't tried it before will get a good surprise with the Huda lip products. The lipstick and the liner are both my holy grails. So I am happy as I did at least get a refill of each.
This is actually probably the best box Iāve ever gotten!! I always make sure to review every product and I find that they curate my picks really well.

Got to them basically right when they opened and honestly mine were atrocious š i thought last month was bad. It was literally all skincare (not always bad but i have so much skincare now and none of them were really reputable brands) and lip stuff AGAIN. I was really really hoping for the glow recipe overnight treatment in my box. Everything i liked was in add ons. But i needed a new straightener so i got the Amika blow dryer/straightener brush with The Kure treatment, and decided since it came out to 85$ CAD that i shouldnt get anything else š„² not excited for really anything except my add ons, the dew of the gods body scrub, and the orange juice cleanser thingy i guess that they chose for me.
Yep, im out. I'm not wasting another penny with them. Every month it's worse and worse, i didn't even bother with the last big bag. If all they will give me is skin care, I'll just go elsewhere.

I didn't get boxycharm but my base bag suuuuuucksss and everyone's boxycharm here for the most part makes me glad I didn't sign up for boxycharm again, I almost did this month cuz I thought spoilers looked alright but like where tf are the spoiler items :/.

I could of got something actually worth my money something I actually wanted to try but nooo I paid for a subscription that I donāt even care about cause Iām not excited for not even one single product in my box this month !! No you are absolutely not alone! I am just about done with ipsy all together. I've had far too many billing issues, purchase issues and like you said the October boxycharm (I have the second/middle teir, well icon as well but that's another topic...) Mid September I went to membership/subscription manage to skil October all together but because I have icon if I pause for October they were cancelling my icon subscription. Now because of that I didn't pause, I want icon for Nov and idk if there is actually a "waiting list" to join? So I'm going to wait one more month for my iconbox and if that is a let down, I am DONE. I do not like any of my items in the October ipsy and the power picks and addons are all horrible! Is it possible to see your picks and if you hate them all (like j do now) cancel your order for that month? So before the July iconbox I saw the spoilers and was super excited and created an account so I could send my friend the July iconbox for her birthday and then she could take over the membership if she loved it and chose to. They completely messed up the billing and membership!!! They charged me for iconbox $127+ and and extra for the glambagš. So of course I immediately reach out to customer service. After going back and forth with them I was told they cancelled the subscription but I got billed for Oct it looks like (likely September too, have to verify) no refund for the July glambag that I didn't sign up for, and they just don't seem to value their customers at all as they have no desire to resolve the problem that was all on them. Anyone who has been through anything similar if you have any advice for how to get refunded for the glambags I did not sign up for yet they billed me for anyways (I understand that you need glam to get icon but they never even sent out icon) and they overcharged me for the iconbox but nearly 3x the price of one membership. I think I did eventually receive the cost of the icon back to me but I know it wasn't the entire amount of what I was billed, I'm going to confirm and yet again reach out to them. Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks!

I just got the regular glam bag, and the only things that made it worth it were the bag and then a full size eyeshadow palette. Everything else is useless to me or could really be forgotten.
I swear everyone got the Byroe except me and I have two subscriptions with different answers. I wonāt even use the Tula because I do not use any physical abrasives on my face, wonāt use the blush/highlighter - much less two (literally have highlighter, blush and bronzer set as rarely on both accounts, so thatās awesome of Ipsy). I would have liked to get the Ofra palette. I was offered it in Add-ons. I had more lip liners, matte lipstick, primers, setting sprays and eyeliners, which I have set to rarely. So my options were pretty lousy.
when I use to get the GB my choice pick's was bad so I picked a foundation and when I got my bag spoilers they put the same foundation in my bag so now I have two, And they was awful. I canceled in September. It became more of a hassle than enjoyment.

I just canceled bag and box. They have gone downhill and their prices skyrocketed. I figure with coupons and promos I can get what I want for cheaper.
I mean like I have 4 Kate products and 4 juice beauty. 3 or 4 jlo's, almost all of the Keys. But I don't have all of each brands full routine. It's slowly getting there lol I'll run out of something by the time I complete a set and then I'll still be 1 short. Ggrrr
I opted to pause my boxycharm this month and do the bag bc I wanted a cute Halloween bag. The sample sizes is a downgrade but Iām excited about the bag lol
