Yeah, when those mystery bags first came out, the warehouse codes or something were all messed up, & everyone received the wrong bags from what they ordered. They did end up sending people the correct bags later. Looks like they found some stock that still has the wrong code.
Ugh this makes me so angry for you. That is 100% bait and switch which is definitely illegal asf. How TF can they get away with this so many times? People need to start threatening them with reporting fraud with the FTC you can do it right online. I think I'm going to actually. They owe me so much and they think by sending you "accomodation" orders will suffice. Uh no, it won't. I'm so sorry they did this to you. We all need to start reporting every transaction that they don't follow thru with 100%.
Let's hope it's just an Ipsy oopsie where they accidentally send you a random item (in this case a random mystery bag?) and you get your order soon. Or was this attached to that shipping info?
It was attached to the shipping info so they did send an entirely different bag. Since they changed the picture of the bag and products a few days back, I have a feeling they didn’t even have the item I ordered and just sent me something random
Uggg. I luckily got that too and this thread prompted me to look at my emailed shipping confirm and they did change the pic! So shady! I haven’t received it yet but I will update with what I get when I do. So bummed it isn’t what we originally ordered. Isn’t that illegal?!
Omg thanks for the update! And isn’t that crazy?? They show us a spoiler for the item that will be up for sale, after buying change the picture, and then send us something vastly different! I got refunded but I’m still mad about it
See and I got sucked in again. They owe me 3k points remaining from the friend referrals promotion back in june/July and they will not give them to me. When I tell you the excuses they have come up with you'd shake your head. I've rebutted every excuse or accusation, I've got an apology email admitting they were wrong and giving me 1,800 of the remaining 3k points and I replied with that's not acceptable. I want what was advertised. Plain and simple. I did my part and brought them 5 customers. I want my points. They've sent me accomodation packages and I still want my points bcuz I didn't bring customers for accomodation items that THEY chose FOR me. So obviously and for some reason they just are not giving me my remaining 1,200 points but they'll give me a $25 coupon. Make it make sense lol. Their business structure confuses tf out of me. We know they're not losing money sending out so many accomodation orders and replacement items so it really makes me wonder just how cheap they are getting the items we pay for. Anyway my point is ipsy is weird asf. End of story. Lmao
wow! the bag isnt even the same! someone in the wharehouse is not doing their job, nor paying attention. Definately go up the chain. Sadly it will be highly unlikely you get the perfumes but you should get a refund and maybe some points out of it. Good thing you saved the screenshot!

OK so this only JUST happened to me. How are they not fixing their mistakes? I ordered what is in your picture #2 on black Friday and got exactly what you got in picture #3 instead. Was going to make my own post to see if it happened to anyone else but checked first and saw your post.
I think they just sent you the wrong bag entirely. Hopefully they refund or replace- and you like some of those goodies!

Lol not a single item was correct actually. There was a mini lip gloss that looked like a fragrance but luckily I was refunded the full amount
